With the number of Active techniques, "without warning" was not possible to San. Getting his information through the lightning threads, the ninja let go of the technique and rolled away, dropping into the ground holding a single hand seal. To the surprised Manny, a sheet of Iron sand would appear over him, attempting to drop and limit his movement as well as his vision for a moment. as he attempted to set up an interesting set of techniques. He had to teach the kid somehow....

Those lightning threads were really starting to annoy Manfread now. He started to suspect that San was using them to amplify his taijutsu ability, but he couldn't think of a way to get rid of them. It was then a large sheet of metal loomed over Manfread.
“Oh you gotta be sh**ing me,” he said realizing it was about to flatten him. He rolled ferociously to the side, in a quite comical fashion and using his left arm launched himself into the air. Sweeping his foot as he landed kicking up dust to obscure his lower body. Again placed his right foot forwards and placed both fists parallel with his chest. The back of his left hand was facing the ground and his right was facing the sky. Ducking down under the veil of cover, he launched himself forwards towards San, at the last moment he switched sided in a vicious turn and aimed a hook at San's face, not over extending his left arm this time it would quickly shoot back in a backhand aimed for the chest. At the same time he tried to use his still slightly damaged right arm to sever a few of those lightning threads. To end it he would spin around jump to knee San in the chest.

San sighed as his opponent was still trying to obscure himself from any visual clues. "Know thy self, know thy enemy and you shall be victories in all battles yet to come." If his opponent had done any looking and researching, he would have known that San wore a BLINDFOLD and he had forever shut his eyes. All his dust shinanagins was only effective in giving the konin, older and more expirienced, more time to plan and act.
As the backfist came in, San would wait once again until the last moment then take a small shuffle step back. thrusting his back leg into a leaf violent wind (round kick), the konin aimed the kick for the liver of his opponent. Continuing, the ninja placed the kicking leg down and threw a quick stomp kick for the gennins peronial nerve, aiming to drop the kid back on the ground again.

Little Manfread was sitting on the porch watching the moon, a beautiful woman sat beside him drinking tea.
“Mommy, what can make the instantly muscles stronger?” he asked looking up at the woman.
She smiled and said, “If one were to release the first gate, the gate of opening located in the brain, then one could become stronger and faster in an instant.”
Manfread snapped back to consciousness only a few seconds after his hit the ground and passed out. He rolled backwards landing on his feet and he hurt all over for some reason. Suspecting he had been knocked out for a moment.
“I'm ok! Just gotta try plan B,” he said, creating a bit more of distance, he eyed San and realized his normal obscuring the vision trick wasn't going to cut it so he circulated his chakra throughout his body and forcibly use his muscles past their normal limits. He had an idea, Trying to force the first gate in his brain open, with little success. He kept his eyes on San waiting for his opponent to strike, maybe he could get a counter of his own in.

San had to smile. The kid was finally getting serious. But, like all good ninja, the konin had a plan to deal with the kid getting powerful. His chakra strings were reduced to three from the enemies strike, but that was all he needed to notice the kid opened the first gate. Eventually, San would probably have to join him in learning that, but for now he had a different plan. He spoke quickly, to the kid, teaching him a slight error in his ways.
"You opened the first gate which gives you power and speed, yet you wait for me to attack you? Break my mental balance kid, or you will never stand a chance agaisnt anyone much less me. Make me move were you want me, then break me..."

“Easier said then done,” Manfread muttered, he continued to try opening the first gate and felt his body become slightly lighter. Not enough to make a difference yet but since San had noticed Manfread had to act now. Quickly closing the distance Manfread acted like he way about to pull a hay-maker. When he was close to San he suddenly dodged left, swinging around to San's right he rapidly let out a nasty hook with his left arm. Kicking his right leg he lunged even closer and throw an upper cut into his gut. He would then suddenly dodge behind San and through a left hook from San's left, while using his right arm to try to sever the rest of the lightning threads. Keeping wary of San's movements he was prepared to counter and stay in this range of combat.

And now manny was playing. His sudden burst was much faster then San had anticipated, and he was unable to perform his counter before the haymaker was....
crazy s**t had juked him, and his body was moving almsot faster then his mind was. The kid finally had learned "act, dont think" it seems. The left hook wrack san a good dinger, making him stubmle and lose his physical balance. But manny was right, ruining San's mental balance was much easier said then done. Composure was one of San's strongest points, as his nindo was never let your enemy see your spirit. Yet before Manny could dodge left, San already had his technique up. Catching Mannys punch, San chose to reveal the Lightning armor technique to his now unfortunate friend. Pushing the fist to open up Manny, the man in the lightning armor used his next technique, spinning backfist and punch in a top like motion, changing levels from temple to chin, bracial tien, floating rib, then liver/kidney. Finally, to end the combo, the ninja threw a nasty spinning hook kick aiming for the chin and spinnign side kick to finally knock the kid across the room. The lightning armor made him not only faster, but his strikes also stronger. Would the kid back down, or would he stand his ground. Did he have any quit in him? His actions would change how San looked at him....

If there was a wall near be Manfread would have hit it and slid down with an eery squeaking noise. Unfortunately there was not and Manfread bounced like a flat stone over water.
“That didn't hurt,” Manfread lied as he slowly got up, thinking fast Manfread came up with another idea. He loved fighting such a strong opponents and couldn't help but smile. Armour wouldn't be a problem for his haiken, and Manfread had experience with James using a similar technique and he suspected that it would increase San's speed as it seemed to increase his strength. Rubbing his right shoulder and rotating his arm, Manfread forced the first gate open even farther, his body was getting even lighter and he felt power surge through his body. Placing his left foot forwards he took up a standard boxing position. Charging forwards he would let out a left jab that would be about an inch from connecting with San's chest. The blow should screw with San's perception and make him less prepared for the right straight he quickly through out, twisting his arm and putting more shoulder into the shot it should connect. In the shadow of the fist Manfread launched a knee into San's leg. Swiftly retreating the knee he would fly to the side and out of San's own punching range, Lashing out at his opponents arms with a left haiken if he tried to counter. If he couldn't hit the body then he would aim for the limbs.

San had hit the kid really hard, but the kid was still inexperienced when it came to combat. The technique that san used not only increased his speed and pwoer, but also his reflexis. His reflexis now being upgraded, as well as naturally being fast, would make him able to react and move on a near unparralled level. The kids little distance and hit and run tacts were the last thing he should have tried on the konin. The amount of time it took for the hit to stand there instead of hitting him felt like minutes, the knee felt even slower, and his retreat would be the worst thing that he could do.
Working on a split entry, meaning his defense would place one hand to parry to the inside of manys punch and the other hand would gently glide the knee past him. Tracking and following the retreat, san would aim to bind the kid and break his spinal balance and structure. Throwing his outside leg back, the konin did a throw called Osoto-gari (great outer reaping throw) aiming to take the kids legs up, folding the body, and having his head/back hit the ground. Dropping a knee to pin the kid, the ninja was going to keep him at close range and try to grapple...he was starting to get a hang of this....

Manfread was in the air and near the ground then he opened the gate even farther then he had before. Having used his body as bait Manfread was now pinned by San with one knee. Back to the ground he through a short range haiken with his left fist into San's outer knee, if it hit he would severly damage muscles and leave a nasty bruise. Manfread's other arm lashed out hitting the inner side of the pinning knee causing more damage to the leg. Even though he had almost no room to manoeuvre his arms, his haiken could still deal incredible damage at the shortest of ranges. He would then knee San in the lower back and send another few rapid short range punch into the nice big bruise on San's leg. If San shifted his weight even a bit, Manfread would be free to push the Konin off and immediately break out into a rotation.

(A quick word of the wise, never do these "possible techniques." They will ever happen and enver work, and they jsut make the posting order and time/space stuff confusing.)
San, against his better judgement, didnt even worry about the one on his other knee. The armor would be able to deal with most the damage, allowing San to do the unexpected thing from a methodical and calculating ninja...go gung-ho on the offensive. Applying a choke hold using the techique Tebi Haba, the ninja grunting through his teeth a message to Manny.

James Cameron Poe King of The Frozen SandKing of the frozen Sand James walked into the academy area with Sanshi and Manfread. He was just finishing a large steak cheese and Honey mustard sandwich with jalapenos. James froze at the sight of Sanshi effectively using Taijutsu. He froze in mid bite, with a small bit of Honey mustard running down his chin. "whufdafowk". James chewed and swallowed while he wiped his chin with a napkin. "When did you learn that San?

Manfread now fully opened the first gate, power surged through his body as he felt the results taking effects. Using his haiken he rammed his fist into the arm strangling and tried to loosen San's grip. Tearing at his opponents arm with his free hand Manfread managed to say, “Hurrr-ack!”
Hammering down into the ground he would use 100% of his muscles and break free barely managing to worm his way out.
“Quit? Do fish fly? Can a dog swim if you tie big rocks to its legs? Ha! I never surrender, or back down or apologize!” Manfread said in between heavy breaths, “Now that I have this new technique I'm gonna plant my fist right into your face!”
His legs started to twitch and the strength had left his arms. His body had reached its limits and the effects of the first gate were taking its toll. Trying to dash forwards Manfread stumbled and fell face first into the ground.
“Get over here, so I can bite your ankles off and then reach up there to punch you,” Manfread said as threateningly as he could. Which at this point was less scary then a tiny fluffy kitten.

San had to smile, as he motioned for James to come over and heal them both. Kneeling at manny, The konin had a smile on his face as he spoke to the downed kid.
".....Good job manny. I would much rather have a man with no skill at all, and have 100% conviction and "go" in his mind then the strongest ninja who has his doubts. Thank you manny for helping me train. I like you...please keep up the good work. James, we both need to be healed if you wouldnt mind...."

“Well... I could use something to eat, and... did you just say I have no skill?” Manfread asked, hearing praise he realized that they weren't going to fight anymore and didn't bother to push the fact. He was the one belly deep in dirt on the floor unable to move properly.
“No problem, we should do this again some time, and then you can end up on the ground,” he said with a smile, then added, “Hey James can I have a bite of your sandwich?”
