She giggled happily. "It's close enough Isle. Uncle Lateef probably thinks of you like a princess anyway Isle and I know Daddy Kieran says we should all be sisters." She grinned happily then tilted her head, "Wait...are we leaving already?"
Gavin nodded and fiddled with a few other weapons he had fashioned then raised an eyebrow. "Yer leavin' me boy? Artie, ye jest got here but I understand. It was nice seein' ye again." He hugged the smaller man back lifting him adn pounding him on the back once again. "Don't ye worry about Melody. She's jest seein' an old dream fall at her feet. She'll be alrigh' in no time, back to runnin' around and plyin' the trade." He grinned at Isle. "Nice meetin' ye Isle and Princess Lharka."

Processing...processing, okay information processed. A point to Onyx. "You're still furry." Yup, that was all he had to say in response to Onyx's long drawn out explaination. Of course since Onyx technically wasn't...well people...that shy factor wasn't so strong at the moment. In fact the boy walked right up and grabbed his muzzle. "You look like Ashlyn, only she has a beak and feathery ears...and she can't walk on two legs." Feeling that need to touch and explore...after all, he was part wood elf.
Piper waved a hand dismissively. "I doubt it. You won't come around no more than your brother does." No she really didn't expect them, after all they all knew what Onyx and Moon did all day. So Piper walked over to stand next to Malik before she turned her attention to watching her son explore something oh so new to him. Wasn't that just classic? Despite practical explination, he still pointed out the base animal trait. Though Malik got an elbow to the shoulder.
"Right right, close enough." Giving a shrug to the information and Galesen's mention of her being his potiental bride someday...sure, yeah. A look to Lharika again. "We can't stay here forever and I'm sure Galesen will bring you back if you wish sometime...with Piper's say so of course." Before her eyes turned to Gavin. "Nice to meet you as well." Giving a nod to Galesen in the 'lead on' gesture.

Arthur smiled happily as his friend had lifted him while they embraced in their hug before patting him on the back and letting him go. "I know I wish I could stay longer but I just feel that now would be a good time to go, but it was really nice to see you again old friend it really was." But his words about Melody was bugging him and they would nag at him in the back fo his head. "Oh really? Well let her know that I hope she'll be okay...and tell her goodbye for me." But he blinked a little and turned towards the tiny elf Lark and smiled a bit. "Well like Isle said if Piper may allow it I'll bring you back here one day so you can visit my old friend once again. Besides I don't think Gavin will mind, I've been meaning to visit him for awhile now and with time so short I may come back sometime soon at least." He said with a light smile and with a small nod back towards his friend he said. "Goodbye Gavin, I hope to see you someday soon my friend." And with that he lead them outside the shop and back through the marketplace, going back to the Oracle's home.

"Or," suggested Leaf. "You could not eat us, seeing as how if it is only your skin and you are surly not dead and not a murderer."
"In fact, you aren't a murderer, you are a highly reveried priest of the earth temple. We are pilgrams, come to see the pure element of earth, in order to finish our journey, we must be lead to the element."
The naga sank into its coils, and hissed. "I am highly reveried, arn't I." He agreed. "Priest you say..." He slowly but surely uncoiled from his aggressive stance. "Pure Element... I think I know where you are going with this." He slithered away, "Come Come, I show you the way." And slow but willfully making his way down the corridors, switching between the tunnels unassertively, he brought them to a 'wall', as it only had tunnels spoking to one side. "Now. Now... Where did I leave that lever... Leaver... Lover... Yes, where is my lover..." He coiled up again.
"Naga, do you have a name?"
"Name, what's in a name? If I were called Rose would I not still smell like the delicious underbelly of a Naga?" He licked his lips, "A tasty and succulent treat, Frrrrriend."
"Are you a boy or A Girl Naga?"
"Is there a difference?" He tapped his tail on the wall. A tiny hollow echo could be heard running up the side of the tunnel.

"What?"
Looking at his wife with a smirk, before watching thier son and Onyx.
Onyx looked at Piper and sniffled.
"I promise, and you know us Vah and our promises."
before his muzzle got grabbed, and his eyes crossed a little bit looking at the hand.
"I do not look like a griffon. I look like a Vah. big difference."
Opening his maw and letting his tongue loll out and plop against the toddlers hand. Hey he'd gotten used to this in Honoursfield already. Kids were just fascinated by things that weren't quite like them.

"Come back anytime me boy, anytime."
"Bye Mr. Tiny. See you real soon!" she waved back to the much bigger man. Lharika wasn't looking forward to walking all the way back to Meilikki's house and she lifted her arms to Isle to be picked up and carried. She was little enough too...really she was.
Melody was on the roof of the home she shared with he father, set directly beside the smithy. Hearing the commotion that usually precluded the departure of company she crawled forward a bit to hear what they were saying. So Arthur was coming back? She would believe it when she saw it. Her fingers slipped inside the only pocket on her pants and she removed a shiny chain and clenched her fist around it. True when he'd given it to her she had been a child really and there hadn't been romantic overtones but she had known since that day that she and Arthur were meant to be together. And now he was with that...elf.
Melody knew she was comely in her own right but how was she to compare with an elf? Isle was lovely in a way she had never seen a human claim and even Lharika had her own ethereal quality to her. And her musical talent far paled in comparison. She couldn't even sing he rway out of an ale barrel down at the tavern after imbibing a little too much. When she'd sang when she was little, her father had told her to 'let the blasted feline go.' She watched the elf leave with a jaunt in her step and envy overtook the human. Before she knew it, she had picked up a rock and thrown it right at Isle's head. Lying prostrate on the roof, she rolled quickly and dropped to the ground behind the house, praying no one had seen her.
Zykariel did not reverie the entire night. In fact about halfway through it, he awoke suddenly and slipped out of bed to go crawl in bed with Daddy. The sight of his parents in the same bad caused him to frown. Mother was in his spot and she was hogging Daddy! His Daddy, not hers. He stomped over to the bed, picked up his father's arm and tugged. "Daddy, I can't reverie alone no mores." Quick, think of an excuse why. "There's something furry under my bed..."

Leaf folowed at what she judjed to be a safe distance, and hoped that she hadn't gotten them into deeper trouble. Although she suspected that this Naga forgot them every time it lost sight of them.
She looked over at Fin. "Stop distracting it. Everytime you ask a question he coils up again." She made a motion for the Naga to continue on his/her way. "naga, the Element?"

Kora arched a brow as she wrung the drool out of her shirt. Just a moment ago, she feared for her life. Now, she was just confused! At least, she felt the threat had simmered down. She then placed the object back into the cuff of her sleeve, where it was safe and ready.
"Allright... I'll go, but only if you can give me a moment!"
Before she could get an answer, she hurried off towards the old gnarled tree with the hidden burrow; the said meeting spot she and the 12 year old boy were to meet up in. Once she got there, she secured her backpack that was full of Honey Coated Baked Yams into the burrow, allong with a note that explained how she wouldn't be back for a good while, and that he could have the rest of the yams, and that he could also use the burrow for as long as he wanted. She kept a few Yams for herself, though, and hurried back.
Wether Deidrick and Rusty were still waiting for her, she didn't know or care. She figured if they did, that she'd tag allong to lead the danger away from the 12 year old boy. If they really were trouble, then she'd deal about it then.
She wasn't gome more then a few minutes, so she wasn't surprised that they were still there.
"Okay, I'm back!"
Kora bit into one of her yams. She still hadn't eaten in a few days, you know!

"You know what." Givng a little chuckle to his smirk and feign of innocense...though like it or now, she knew he was enjoying watching his boy interact with a Vah...probably more interested in how the boy would take to the creature and want to do about him. But triple colored eyes turned to Onyx. "We'll see about that." Yes it was part challenge. The boys had been nice to have around some.
He stuck his own tongue out as he duely was slobbered on. "Ew..." Wiping his hand on his cloak before looking back to Onyx. "Yes you do. You're part cat and you're part bird. That is what a griffin is." The logic was in fact working now wasn't it? Though this didn't seem to be about griffins and Vahs. So now the boy took to walking around Onyx, getting a good look at him. "Ashlyn has a different tail too." Her's had the little poofy furry part on the end. Hm, yes, Onyx was quite fascinating.
Isle merely gave a wave in her usual style to Gavin, before taking Lharika in her arms as the child had requested to be picked up and took to following Galesen once more. "You know, you're gonna be too big for me to carry like this...I'm going to have to start piggybacking you." Giving a little giggle, merely retracing steps. Though then a sharp pain in the back of her head. "Ow!" Shifting her hold on Lark to rub at the spot and look over her shoulder. Was that thrown or did it fall from above? After all, they were in more or less a giant cavern.
Sevilin wearily opened his eyes as he was being tugged from his reverie by physical tugging. Red eyes studied his son a moment as he got his wits about him. "We've been through this Zykariel...the only thing fuzzy under your bed is Nym. He probably slipped under there with a pair of your socks or something. Or maybe you dropped Rawr and he crawled under there." Giving a yawn.

She laughed too and clapped happily. "Piggyback rides are fun. Uncle Lateef gives 'em to me sometimes." Then a look of concern. "Isle...are you okay?" She reached behind and petted the spot she thought Isle had been petting then threw her arms around the older elf's neck and hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to...."
Zykariel whined in response, "Nuh-uh Daddy, this time it's not. I got Rawr right here with me, see?" Plopping the dragon on Daddy's bed and tugging again. "And Nym isn't under there I looked. It's a..." He swallowed and his little eyes got all big. "It's a spider Daddy and you know I don't like them." He started to fuss. "Get rid of it for me."

"Nym would eat the spider if it was under there..." Though he could hear the whiny nerve grating tone to his son's voice and knew the boy wasn't going to take no for an answer. Oh he didn't want to move but he was going to have to wasn't he? Giving a sigh he reached down to the floor and grabbed his pants, pulling them under the covers and slipping them on before standing, offering his hand to the boy. "Alright...let's go see what's under your bed."
Letting the child pull him across and down the hall to his own room. Nym was still quietly sleeping on the pillow. Sevilin gave another yawn. "Stay here..." Walking over to the bed and crouching down, giving a look. He sighed and turned that tired look back on his son. "No spider, it's safe."

He picked up Rawr and did indeed drag his father back across the hall since he was half in reverie as he was walking. "But Nym's sleeping, he doesn't know it's under there and I can't wake him up." All of which was a lie but if it got Daddy to come, then in his little mind it was well worth it.
Waiting in the doorway with Rawr clutched tightly in his arms, he watched as Daddy checked under the bed and shook his head. "It was there, I promise." Crossing his fingers under Rawr's belly just in case. He'd heard once that if you crossed your fingers, it meant you weren't telling a big lie just a little one and then the gods wouldn't be upset with you.
Daddy got a hug around his legs and then Zykariel popped back into bed. "Thanks for looking Daddy. I was really scared." He watched as his father turned to go back to his own bed and did some fast thinking. "You can't go!" He paused and lowered his voice, "What if it comes back?"

And he stopped midstep...he thought they were past this 'thing under the bed' stage. So a sigh and he walked back to the bed and sat on it's edge, petting at the boy's hair. "It won't come back. Would you like me to put some runes around your bed to keep anything away from you?" What had gotten into this boy all of a sudden? Reverting to this overly clingy behavior and generally mood flopping all around the place.

Well that was a nice visit, the elf was surely happy to see his old friend Gavin after all those years he had spent from Honorsfeild, he really needed sometime off to plan on coming back here for a day or more. So putting that idea in the back of his head Arthur set on taking the two elven maidens back to the Oracle's home, and a small laugh came from him when little Lark was asking Isle to pick her up. "She is right you know, you should be running around and using those two legs, they are a good mode of transportation when you got nothing else around you to use." So with a small pat on the tiny elf's head he turned around and continued to walk, but before they could even get clear of the smith shop he heard Isle shout out a little in pain, turning around with a worried look he walked over but stopped once he noticed that it was no big deal. "Are you alright?" He asked, hoping that she wasn't hurt that badly.

He crossed his arms and pouted. "It might come back Daddy. You didn't see it. It was this big." Uncrossing his arms and holding them out to a highly exaggerated size, especially since the spider didn't even exist. And he was really fuzzy and had fangs and there was something dripping from them."
He thought about it for a second and looked at Rawr then held the dragon up to his ear and listened. A shake of his head. "Daddy, Rawr says he can't get past your runes so then he wouldn't be able to get near me either. That's not gonna work." And thus he crawled over his covers and into his father's lap. "I don't want to reverie alone."
