The Yoda speak was just another way of avoiding talking in First person. Link will almost always refer to himself in the third person, usually in a manner thats self humbling. So if you want me to stop the yoda speak I certainly can.

It's your choice, don't let us sway you. Oh, I asked in some other thread, I forget which, but you got off before answering, so: Is your avatar male again, or did your female one just get a new haircut?

Oh, I asked in some other thread, I forget which, but you got off before answering, so: Is your avatar male again, or did your female one just get a new haircut? No, still Female. I tried the Delete metho prescribed by the Gaian Nerds but it didnt work, so I just altered myself to look like my old Male Avi.

Its female.
I don't mind the yoda speak. Its just it would be better with a one person limit on who is speaking in yoda speak.

I understand. Though I should think that Des would be the one who would have to drop it. In my defense, I did start doing it first (Hell, I didn't think you guys would notice. Sharp bunch.) and because how origional is a short jedi master with a repeating dialect?

Hey, I agree.
Though you should keep the promise that you speak first person when you're stressed.. like in combat or in the presence of a sith or something.

Nelowulf Hey, I agree. Though you should keep the promise that you speak first person when you're stressed.. like in combat or in the presence of a sith or something. Thats a given. He will tend to forget his humility when he's in the middle of Combat, focusing on far more important things.

That would be a nice way to do it. On a somewhat related note, has anyone but me noticed that the muppets on Sesame street don't use contractions when they talk? They always say 'it is', rather than it's, or let us, instead of 'let's'. Etc. Why is that?
