"Common ground." His only response to that as she was getting herself all the closer and in his comfort space. Yes indeed there were those intincts showing through. Though it was interesting that her fingers took to playing with his hair, even if it wasn't braided and only pulled back today. "I suppose I can." Yes he knew what she wanted, he had stirred the pot a little too much. But it was either indulged and take some fun and pleasure now, or more or less suffer later for making her wait. But there was something more imporant. "I need to check on Zykariel first..."

She nodded, "Of course. He needs a bath anyway so while you give him that, I'll do the dishes." She pulled back and brushed his bangs out of his face then stood up and began picking up bowls and such from the table and carrying them to the sink, running water and soap in the sink.
Zykariel had started to play on the floor and fallen into reverie, passed out with Rawr, cuddled in his arms, still in his clothes and boots.

Yes, it was as casual as that, wasn't it? Indeed it was. Casual and comfortable. But he gave a little smirk as she got up to do dishes, vaguely noting that he had never finished his stew, as he headed from the kitchen and upstairs...only to find his son already out. That reverie caught little elves at the oddest times it seemed. "You'll so anything to get out of a bath, won't you?"
Walking into the boy's room, he scooped the boy up, and settled him into his bed, pulling off his boots and what not. In fact Sevilin went ahead and changed the boy into his night clothes...after all, the boy may be out for the rest of the evening and night. Covers were pulled up over the boy and a kiss pressed to his hair, Sevilin giving a smile as Nym had jumped up on the pillow and curled up around the boy's head. "Wish I could take reveries like that...nothing to haunt me..."
Another pet to the boy's hair before he walked out of the room, pulling the door shut as he did so and headed back downstairs to Zahara, more or less just walking into the kitchen and scooping her up, starting back upstairs to his room with her. "He's all tuckered out. Fishing wore him down it seems."

Zykakriel barely moved during the whole time his father was changing his clothes but he did snuggled down beneath the blankets when he was tucked in, lost in reverie, though he knew that his father had been in the room and smiled as he left. Had to love Daddy didn't he?
She had just been about to plunge her hands into the soapy water and start scrubbing dishes when he appeared behind her. She felt his hands curve around her waist and then he bent down. She wondered what he was doing until she was lifted into his arms, her own twining around his neck and she smiled. "Little elves get tired so easily don't they?" Him carrying her up was all the encouragement she needed and she grinned when he entered into his room. She knew what was coming and a smile was on her face even as he kicked the door closed allowing them the privacy they needed for the fun they both wanted. Oh yes, it was going to be a lovely night indeed. Who cared if the water went cold and the food was hard as a rock in the morning?

Rusty's head and ears went low as Deidirick figured out that the girl had indeed stolen to food. His reaction wasn't because he shamed her but out of guilt and maybe even some pity. He couldn't think of anything else that could maybe help the girl out.
Since he was rendered useless as he always has been, the half feline sat down and leaned his head on one of his hands. He decided he'd just wait and see what the three headed dog decided to do with the girl before tyring to interfere again.
Either way, all he really wanted right now was to go to seek help and advice from an at least somewhat familiar face.

Kora realised that the merchant had to make a living off of his honney coated yams... That was the reason why she chose to only fill her backpack as oposed to stealing his entire cart. Only enough to feed herself and the 12 year old boy for a couple of days, and nothing more. Street kids can't afford to be greedy anyway; they have to remain as un-seen and un-noticed as possible. Still, she knew that the merchant was living a much more comfortable life then she was. He didn't have to worry about where he'd be sleeping this night, or how many days till his next meal.
She shifter her gaze towards Rusty again, and saw the sad expression on his face. She, for some strange unexplained reason, felt as if she could relate to the critter's sadness.... or uneasyness... or what ever it was... Her head was begining to hurt from the effort of thinking overtime yet producing no thought.
Distracted by a string of the drool that fell onto her bare foot, she once again got brought back into the situation. She discretely ran her thumb over the small object she kept tucked into the cuff of her sleeve. Her eyes glazed over, emotionless.
"Nobody hires street kids. We're filthy and unruly. Instead, if we get caught, we get sold to the blackmarket for our organs... for slave labor... prostitution... To fight in cages to the death so the crimelords can place bets over our heads..."
Her eyes shifted downwards, still without emotion, to the teeth clutching at her drool soaked shirt.
"And it looks like I've been caught..."
Kora's thumb picked the object out of the cuff of her sleeve, where she held the object secure and ready.
((omg, I'm such an emo >.> I gotta get out of the 'sad story' mode somehow))

The drooling head's ears dropped. "Prostitution?" His eyes looked to the other heads.
The one sniffing stopped, twitched his nose, and looked at the middle head. "Organ snatching?"
The middle head looked angry. "Slavery!?"
Kora was let go, and the large dog reared backwards, taking a few steps back before landing back on the ground. "Unforgivable!" He shouted. ""Disgusting Honoursfeild behavior!"
The once child murderer had developed a healthey snese of hounor. (lets hope) "I will not except this! Come!" he shouted at both Rusty and Kora. "You girl, cat, I will drop you both off with Moosntone." His hackles were raised, his eyes engry. "I have buisness."
Meilikki stood with Tara-kun in her arms. "Indeed. I am glad you came Piper, it was good to see you as well, and to meet your son." Her pleasant smile as she bowed slightly for them.
"I look forward to seeing you again."

Arthur was ginning lightly as he watched Isle from where he was standing, she looked really cute right now, especially with her eyes half closed in that seductive look of hers; but he happened to catch a glimpse of gold in those beautiful eyes and that made him chuckle a little bit. While his one hand still held hers lightly he reached forwards with the other hand and brushed his fingers lightly against her cheek them allowed them to trail down and stop at her chin, his fingers were warm because of his magic and he knew that with her sensitive skin Isle would surely take notice of it. "Well then I hope I'll be able to join you in creating some wonderful music Isle, I just know it will be fantastic." His eye seemed to have the same look as Isle as he watched her own teal orbs, one of the things that Arthur noticed that he always focused on when looking at Isle were her eyes, he had never seen anyone with Teal before and the little bit of gold was a nice touch.
Though after a moment of standing there with her the elf slowly pulled away and turned back to face the others with a small smile. "That's true I did use to play for you Gavin, you really love music so there was never a reason for me not to play in your presence, I was always happy when you asked me to play." Though a small pause before he looked around at the people in his presence, Isle's music had left a nice effect on them all and right now everything was perfect, nothing could spoil the moment.

Rusty blinked a few times. Even he didn't know that life as a street kid was that bad. Then again he hadn't been in the Honoursfields long enough to know of such behaviors.
He nodded in response to the three headed dog's request of leaving the area. Then got up and dusted off the dirty residues from his clothes. He sure hoped that Moonstone wasn't too busy and that he would be able to give him some advice and help him out.

"Always a pleasure, Meilikki."
Malik smirked lightly, and got himself up, taking his son from Piper nad setting him down on the floor...before he ran into a feline face sniffing at him.
"Onyx."
Onyx looked up with a bit of a grin.
"Malik. Who's the sprout? and who gave you permission to start breeding?"
Then back to Malikhai.
"Greetings sprout? have you been named yet or are you 'offspring number one' still?"
A snicker and a twitch of his ears.
Malik pinched the bridge of his nose lightly.
"You're one to talk. I recall you simply being 'black kit' for a good bit as well."

"Of course Meilikki, you'll be seeing me all too soon." Getting herself up and letting Malik take their son, pulling him from his little shy state to try and get his bravery back up. A final smile to Meilikki and a wave to her and Keely as well as she made her way with her husband and son, only to stop due to a large furry black creature named Onyx. Who got duely popped for his comment. "Hey, that's my son too you know." Crossing her arms and giving Onyx a chastising look. Not to mention his mentioning of multiple children put her off some. Hey it was hard enough to get just one and she had more or less gotten lucky with it all.
He looked up as he was pulled from his mother and then set back on his feet on the ground, and taking to following dad before dad stopped and he stopped as well, looking up at...some big cat thing. This was a new thing, what was this? And of course it was a slight sidestep behind his father...after all, this didn't look like an elf. Looked like...well a big cat...that talked. Oh how wonderful was that?
And in wonderment, bravery was fostered and he stepped out some from behind his father to lean his head back so he could look up at Malik. "I'm not a sprout, I'm Malikhai D'vinn." That same little proud tone that he had gained from his parents. But yes he was still latched to daddy's pant leg. "What are you?" After all, they didn't talk much about Vah around the house so how was he to know?

Onyx's ears lowered when he got popped one.
"Sorry Piper."
Then a smirk at Malikhai.
"you poor guy. named after your daddy. and me? I'm a Vah. A winged Vah at that. spiffy, aren't they?"
Spreading out his wings some.
"My dad and your dad go way back, don't you?"
A look at Malik..that got a 'your asking for it' look back.
"More or less, Onyx. and i can breed anytime Piper wants to. Malikai is a fine young elf, not nearly as unruly as someone else if I hear correctly."
"Hey...boys will be boys."

And he got popped again. "And I came up with his name..." Perhaps the only fragile looking creature not afraid to beat on the big biped feline. But more or less rolling her eyes as they started into thier little men like quarrels.
He frowned a little, oh so like his father in that respect. "I have a good name." Said in sure and confident tone, standing up against it. What was with all the people or things in this place, they said all these bad things. Of course being more or less 'insulted' by his standards, he didn't think those wings too spiffy right now. And then of course beaming from his father's praise. Stepping away from his father a little and letting go of his pantleg. "You're only named after a rock." Aw, he was trying to throw stones with the big kids.

"well I'll be agreein' with ye thar Artie but don't nobody play like Miss Isle. At least not that I've ever heard." He shook his head and once again swiped his hands under his eyes.
Melody crossed her arms and watched the interaction between Isle and Arthur quietly. Was there something going on there? She didn't know but she did glare at Isle briefly then wiped the emotion off her face. "I've gotta go...meet some friends. You going to be okay Daddy?"
"Yup. I'm gonna be jest fine. Ye go on now and have fun."
She nodded to Isle and waved to Arthur, then went outside and left.
Lharika reached up and once again swiped her hands over his cheeks. "You okay? I don't want you to cry Mr. Tiny."
"Jest fine Princess. Ye okay yerself?"
She giggled. "Yes. Just perfect. Like a Princess should be."
Gavin glanced at Arthur and Isle, "So, how long are ye two stayin' around these parts?"

A giggle as Arthur tried to match her, though the warmth from his hands went partially unnoticed. What with an elves tolerance for temperature change. Though it was noticed with the fact that there was heat where the sun would of been providing it. If it was affecting her at all or she noticed, he wouldn't be able to tell.
But her attention turned to the others as his did and she happened to catch that little glare from Melody. Well what was her problem? A little bit of affection between elves was nothing really...they were elves after all. A look to Lark in that guardian type regard before her eyes came back to Gavin at his question. "Oh well Lharika is staying...well I guess until she gets bored, is kicked back home, or is needed back home. I don't know how long I'll be staying just yet."
