A dismissive shrug at it all before crossing her arms behind her back and resting them in the small of it underneath her top cape as Galesen went about chatting up humans. She merely went back to watching the crowds around herself. But her attention was breifly pulled to Lharika. "Very pretty, it suits you. Though if I do say so myself, I like your pearls better." And a look to Melody. "Everything's fine."

"Well I wouldn't be so sure about that. Otherwise we'd be eating in this style every night and I'm sure you enjoy eating at the table in a cushy chair. And this is dangerous sometimes. Things can get attracted to the smoke and smell. But we can do this every now and then...and see now you can prove that I'm not totally hopeless."

Arthur grinned a little bit as he put his hands in his pockets, Melody hasn't changed a bit since the last time he saw her, still as beautiful as ever in his elven eye. "Well now still getting you into trouble eh? That should fall onto me since you always hanged around me during your early years." A light grin was now on the elf's face as he turned towards Gavin who was standing off in the distance. "Hey Tiny?! Whatcha doing standing over there eh!? Get over here I haven't seen you in ages!" He said with a loud laughter with his grin still stretching from ear to ear, though a look back to Isle and Lark; why wouldn't they come over? If they wanted to meet humans these two were the greatest because they are the most friendliest, so with a small wave to them he said. "Isle, Lark I want you to meet someone who's a very good friend of mine so come here please?" With that question poised he turned back to father and daughter and grinned. "Well hows the business?" He asked glancing over towards the smithy.

Gavin strolled over and smiled at the bunch resting a hand on Arthur's shoulder. "Glad ta hear everythings taken care of. I don' like it when people are a fightin' around my smithy place after all." He shook his head then shrugged. "Business is business Arty me boy. Sell some weapons here and there, it's not booming but it's not horrible either. How about you? What have you been up to since you left us?"

Lharika grinned happily. "Me too but this necklace is pretty too." She reverently brushed a hand over her pearls. They were special because they were elven but more importantly because Daddy Kieran had given them to her. She smiled at Gavin and waved shyly. "Hello Mr. Tiny. I'm Lharika."

Gavin chuckled and got down to her height. "Well hello thar Princess. Lharika hmm? Pretty name alrigh'."

She giggled. "My Daddy Kieran calls me Princess too."

"Well then, ye must really be one then hmm?"

Melody giggled and rolled her eyes. "Let's just say the student has surpassed the teacher, hmm?" She looped an arm through Arthur's. "How long are you staying Arthur? Not skipping back out on us after you just got here are you?"

"I don't think she would like that anyway. Her kitchen, her rules. She likes spices anyway and you don't use those, do you Daddy?" He walked over and plopped down between his father's legs, finishing up his piece of fish. "Thanks Daddy."

Zahara smelled the scent of a campfire and food cooking and made a beeline towards it, slipping off Faete and creeping through the forest on quiet boots. Using a bit of brush and a stand of trees for cover she spotted Sevilin and their son, eating fish in the Underdark. She watched them for a few moments, confident they hadn't seen her before slipping back out and hopping up on Faete. "Found them Faete, let's go home. They've made other dinner plans."

Meilikki gave a short, happy sigh as she listened to what Piper offered. She let Tara-kun cuddle as he would, stroking his hair. She knew he wouldn't want to be alone right now, not that he ever did. "That is a gift I would very much treasure. I very much wish to see the sky before I die."

She smiled over at Keely. "You are welcome to stay as long as you want, Keely dear."

Then a look over at Malik. "That would depend on your methods of communication."

Aella screamed and threw her brush at Onyx. "Ah, gees Onyx! Do you have to sneak up on me like that?" When she was lost in thought, an ogre wearing church bells could sneak up on her.

"I had no idea there was anyone here.

Deidrcik merely snorted. "It is not weather she is good or bad, Rusty. It is about how she aquired the food. Did she perhaps think to ask if she could work in return for some food? That man needs to make a living off of this food you know, every theft only makes his life harder as well."

The one sniffing at Kora's pockets growled. "There has been no steel in your pockets ever! My nose is keen young lady, think not to try and trick me."

The third head just drooled some more.

Omega sat in a chair, humming to herself and tossing a vile in her hand. Up and down, up and down. "Oh, how interesting and fun this is! look, I haven't even had to do anything yet, and the silly black cat creature is making a monster of himself." Her blind eye watched Onyx through her godly gift of oracle like sight. She sat back, giggling to herself. "Now, how can I make is worse?"

Alpha stepped out from the shadows. "You spend much too much time on things that you ought not."

"Oh, there are enough of you to handle our goal. I'm just...spreading the chaos."

"When I say jump, you had better jump."

"Alpha, dear brother, when the time comes to set our plans in motion I will do more than just jump."

They of course joined Arthur, though Isleandra was still quite and observational. And more or less standing protectively near Lharika. After all they were talking princesses now and well...Lharika was indeed really one.

"That's right, I can't cook with rules...they just get me all confused and what not." Grinning at the boy as his son walked over and plopped down between his legs as they sat. "Well, I don't use spices like she does..." He did use herbs and what not but in a different method to Zahara. "You're welcome. Maybe you can catch us some dinner more often." Dividing up pieces of fish between the both of them then, until it was nothing but bones and rather unappetizing parts.

Keely more or less held in a squeal and hugged Malikhai for lack of anything else to hug and the fact that she was holding the child. "Wonderful." And a look to said child. "You have to be good without me around, okay? Because no one is going to be there to clean up your messes." Nuzzling him lightly before looking between Piper and Meilikki. "Thank you very much."

A little nod to Keely before her look turned to Meilikki again. "Don't worry Meilikki, you know I always keep my words. You'll have your sky." It was the least she could do until this place got a real sky. Though of course she didn't like to think about Meilikki dying, but that couldn't be helped too much now could it? "Anything else you need of me Meilikki?"

"Well...saving or helping to save them from a orcish attack adn helping to heal thier injured, then being nice enough to present again the offer of a treaty and alliance. and then having them again scoff at me."

A slight curl of the lip.

"It not like I'm out to conquer them. and the offer of help you'd think woudl be appreciated a bit more than an offhanded no."

Onyx ducked the flying hairbrush and chuckled.

"Yes? and Piper is here..I know that voice. Wanna go find out why adn see whom else is here?"

Meilikki just smiled at the happy Keely, glad herself that the girl would be staying for a while. "You are quite welcome, Keely."

Then a shake of her head. "No, I just wanted to see your lovely faces once more. No more buisness, no more greedy wishes of mine." Her customery pleasant smile.

Then a shrug at Malik. "A scoff, or a simple decline? They aren't a very prosperous community anyway. They have very little to offer to an alliance." She knew, Honoursfeild had tried for an alliance as well.

She sighed. "Of course."

Then a shurg. "Not really. Too many people come here to really be excited by guests anymore." A look in the mirror and a fix of her hair. "But I'll go I guess, for soemthing to do."

Lharika nodded happily and clutched to the necklace tightly before letting go of Melody's hand and reattaching herself to Isle.

Gavin gave a grin to Lharika and Isle, "So, what are you two in town for? Visiting with Artie here?"

He grinned and nodded, "That's okay, Daddy. Sometimes even drow have trouble with things and they get confused." Hey he got confused with words, Daddy got confused with cooking and Mother, well she had trouble wiht runes sometimes. He'd heard Daddy using that tone of voice with her before and Mother always got irritated and upset. He took a few more pieces of fish and ate them happily with a giggle. "We could go fishing all the time!"

Zahara slammed the front door and tossed down her cloak before dropping into a chair at the table and knocking her head on the table. Why was this so hard for her to handle? She swore she wanted to be seperate but when it came to witnessing moments like those she wanted nothing more than to be a part of it. But at the same time she knew better. "Dammit!" She picked up one of the bowls and tossed it against the wall, watching it shatter. It didn't make her feel any better though. She sighed and cleaned up the shards, disposing of them carefully so Sevilin wouldn't know. She turned the stew back on, letting it bubble up and reheat. She knew well enough that once they got home and smelled food they would miraculously be hungry again. Pouring herself a glass of wine, she settled at the end of the table and waited.

"And onto flattery like any good hostess, aren't you Meilikki." Giving a tilt of her head and a chuckle at that, a few long strands of silver and red that had escaped her bandana falling into her eyes. Though her look too went to Malik and then between him and Meilikki when they took to discussion on the Purians. "Little to offer or not, this is the Underdark...anyone can benefit from any sort of alliance formed." Adding her two cents just because before she turned her attention to her side at a tug, seeing her son who had apparently wriggled down from Keely and came to her seeking attention. "Yes Twilight?" And she picked him up as he make the pick me up gesture in response, settling him in her lap as he gripped at her collar.

"Lharika is visiting her sister and I'm her...bodyguard so to speak."

"Well not all the time, or we'll run out of fish." Giving a chuckle before he got up and took to putting out the fire they had made that had half died by now. Underdark was rather wet, fires couldn't stay too long out in the open like this. Then to his son, he picked him up and started walking. "We better head home eh? Before the big critters start coming out."
PostPosted: Mon Nov 20, 2006 6:45 pm

"Visiting her sister eh? Another Princess among the bunch." He grinned again and then turned his sights on Isle. "And ye me dear, are ye here strictly for bus'ness or is some pleasure mixed in thar?" He was an astute old man and if he didn't know any better, he'd definitely say there had been some sparks flying between the elegant elf and his Artie.

"My sister is a big elf. I'm an aunt." she said proudly.

"Wouldn't wanna do that, now would we?" He was more than happy to be picked up, his little legs got tired after walking long distances and then eating made him feel like laying down and he nodded. "Big critters are mean, they like to eat little elves." At least that's what he'd been told hundreds of times and that wasn't fun.

Her own bowl of stew sat untouched in front of her, her wineglass half empty as she traced a finger over the rim and stared straight ahead. How long were they going to be? Did he intend to bring the boy home or were they going to camp out old school style? "Why didn't you go with them Nym?"

"A no as in 'no, we don't think it's worht our time'. arrogant halfbreeds."

then a shrug.

"But enough buisness talk. I'll just sit and be quiet and you girls can chat and enjoy yourselves. Malikhai...if you want you can play with Tarathiel."

Onyx snorted lightly.

"Bah, guests are always exciting."

then a quick hug while she was off guard.

"Hope you liked your apples."

and down he went into the rest of the manor, sniffing out guests.

"Perhaps a little pleasure, but there is only so much I can do down here, what with vision limited and infamiliarity. Though Galesen has been quite the knight showing me about and such. And he plays a lovely violin."

"That's right...you're snack size." And rather than walk, a quick runic gesture found them home, and Sevilin walking them both inside, setting the boy down and patting him on the head. "Smells like dinner here as well, come on, let's wash our hands and eat up."

A look to thier son, whom merely buried his face against his mother and shook it in a no gesture. He wasn't too sure what he thought about this Tarathiel. He seemed to speak of things that weren't fun and had made bad opinions of his parents as well and that didn't sit too nicely with the toddler. After all, the world came to life and died with his parents, they were his world.

"And someone is getting fussy." A look to Meilikki. "Well then, since spirits aren't as high as one would like and business can't help but be kept from the conversation, I think that we should take our leave. I'll make plans to come back by myself and see you, bring you your stars. It was nice to see you again Meilikki. Come on Malik, I won't make you suffer through girl talk."

"Well I'm glad to hear that you're doing well, it's too bad your business wont pick up or anything you got some good skills ya know." Yup Arthur loved the smith shop where Gavin worked at, nice comfortable atmosphere to it, and a friendly man to be around with while working. "Well not much really Tiny, sailing the seas around Deepwater and I arrived at the Twilight somewhere south from here where I've been spending my days with the people who live there." There point form nothing big to dwell on so Gavin wouldn't have to worry about anything, though he had to smile when Lark waved towards the large man and called him by his nickname, gods she was so cute. Though when Melody decided to pipe on in he chuckled a little as he allowed her to loop her arm through his. "Of course I got a lot of troublesome ways locked in my head from the years spent around it, it's only fair that you pick up on most of them." But he sighed a little when the girl asked him if he was staying longer than just a day. "Sadly no I wont be, here with Isle and Lark while Lark's sister sees someone. But one day I will return I promise you that." A promise that he would keep one of these days. Though when Gavin mentioned to Isle about coming here for some business or some pleasure the old man seemed to hint something more in that little saying, so he gave the bald man a slight nudge before he turned to Isle; he then suddenly blushed at her kind comments and rubbed the back of his head with his free hand. "Maybe but seriously you are so much better than I am, the way you play your flute is...heavenly....something I never heard before." Ah yes he was still impressed by Isle music skills, he wished he could hear more.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 20, 2006 7:30 pm

Gavin nodded, "Yes he was always playing that thing when he was home. His parents pushed him to learn it but once he learned they couldn't keep him off of it. At least until he went to sea."

Melody's smile disappeared and she shook her head. "Oh, well at least you're here now, right?" Letting go of Arthur's arm, she walked back over by her father and smiled though it wasn't as big as it had been before. "You play an instrument too, Isle. Oh you have to play for us!"

Zykariel held on tightly to his father, watching the scenery zoom by until suddenly they were back home. "But we already ate..." Then he sniffed the air and grinned. "I've got room." Thus squirming to get down he ran into the bathroom and moved his stool against the sink then washed his hands quickly, though thoroughly knowing Daddy would make him go back and do them again if htey weren't clean.

When he was finished, he slipped out of the bathroom and plopped at his seat at the table, waiting for someone to fill his bowl.

Zahara didn't move merely looked up and said calmly. "Welcome home boys. Help yourselves, that is if you're hungry." She lifted her glass of wine and took another sip then set it back down never wavering in her look or portraying any emotion whatsoever.

Isle gave a little chuckle and then shook her head light as her ears took on a slight lavender hue as Galesen was fortifying her music skills and then intriguing others to listen to it. "I...well I don't know if you'd hear most of it...I play in high elven octaves...and I'm told that that is above human hearing. But I...couldn't try to bring it down and make it sound just as well..." Oh yes, ears tips lavendar indeed. And of course a look down to Lharika and a pet for the child.

Meanwhile Sevilin made his way into the kitchen as Zykariel had come back down and took to washing his hands at the sink, getting off fish slime and what not. Though a raised eyebrow and a look to Zahara. She wasn't a happy woman at all was she? Probably still made from earlier. How did he know? She didn't serve up food....Zahara always served up what she cooked.

Thus with a slight sigh as he dried his hands he grabbed the two bowls that had been set out for them at the table and brought them to the stove, filling each bowl with stew from the pot before walking back to the table and plopping one in front of his son and then one for himself as he sat. "Don't burn yourself." Zahara? Well...he was going to leave her alone. After all, when she was on instincts she was hightly unpredictable.
