"They didn't look at anyone else with such cold callous eyes." Tarathiel said with a rather fridgit tone, almost paniced or afraid. "It was nice meeting you." He said and wished he could simply disappear, but he could not, and sat next to Meilikki on the floor and remained somewhat distrought.

Fin looked about each tunnel, steering the light source about. He had never encountered a large snake before. Several tunnels checked, before he saw a sign of the creature, in a rather abrupt way.

"Hello." The naga said in a very serpintine voice. It was a dark colour, maybe purple or very blue, and probably twenty feet long head to tail. IT was physically a snake, except for the human head, and the the strange spine growing from its tail. "Do you want to be my frrrrrrrrrrrrrrriends? I loooooooooooooooove you."

Fin was shocked. It was like looking at the spinal colume of a human talking to you, and wishing to be your best friend. It was very creepy.

Arthur was smiling lightly as Isle grabbed the tiny elf by the hand and walked towards him, though when he heard Piper's mental message he looked at the surface elf and nodded. Don't worry I'll keep and extra eye out for the both of them. He sent back to her and chuckled lightly as the trio headed out to the street. Once they finally stepped out onto the road Arthur paused for a moment to look both ways to see if he knew exactly where they were, so when Isle actually asked him where they were going to go the elf paused for a moment before saying. "I say with where we are we could actually head towards the market place on foot." He said with a small smile and began to head off to the right, with a small bounce in his step and with his smile growing larger Arthur started to lead the small group to the one place he knew that he would spot someone from his old days here in Honorsfeild, and hopefully they would all be greeting him with open arms.

"no! No! NO!" Kora shouted in panick, without looking at the offending obstacle. Eyes still on the ground, she hurridly grabbed at the yams that were scattered througout the ground, shoving them back into the bag.

She didn't have time to lie or charm her way out of trouble. Her hunger pains were nausiating. She just hoped that she didn't look at the least bit suspicious... but, she somehow doubted that she did.

Malikhai bit his lip as Tarathiel spoke back to him in what he recognized as quite the formal manner. He didn't like formal talk too much it usually meant he had to be quiet or that he was in trouble. But then he was even more confused when the boy looked at his own parents and said they were looking at him in a certain way. A murderer was a bad thing, thus he was saying they were looking at him in a bad way.

That made the boy frown and look to his parents. Well he didn't see anything like that on thier faces so a look back to Tarathiel "Stop being mean." Hey he wasn't going to let anyone talk bad about his family.

Well that made things sufficently awkward didn't it? Though she had just hoped Malik wouldn't be as on level with it or answer the question himself and just let it pass. Though Meilikki was given an understanding look back to her apologetic one as well as a little nod of affirmation. "Underdark warieness I'm afraid little one. Can't help it too much after you've experienced certian things." And her look back to Meilikki. "You were going to say, Meilikki?"

Isle smiled down at the little elf at her side. "I don't know Lark, but I'm sure Galesen will show us some grand things." A pat to the girl's head with her free hand before looking to Arthur. "You're going to take women to a marketplace? How bold of you." Though of course she did have to wonder then what currency down here was. But a tug to Lharika's hand as she started after Arthur. "Stay close now."

"Yup you gotta wait." Crouching down so that his son was now between his knees and Sevilin put his arms around the boy, holding the pole with one hand with him and his other hand settled at the boy's waist to hold onto him...after all, one good yank from a strong fish and that little elf would go plop right into the water.

"Tug it a little bit every now and them. If you're lucky you'll get a bit and the fish will tug. You need ot tug back and then keep tugging. Okay?" Teaching the boy to fish, wasn't it cute? "Who knows maybe you'll catch a dinner."

Meilikki sighed and brought a hand to one temple. "Malik..." Then she let it drop. She did not feel like arguing today. She finished with Keely's hair, and made room for Taratheil to sit on her lap. She gave the young Prince a hug. "You have to learn to give people a chance as much as you expect one, Tara-kun." Because he liked such pet names it seemed.

"I was going to say a few things. One is that this favore I asked of you soem tiem ago will soon come into play. You will have some helpthough, as I've sent to Purian Elves to recover the keys you will need."

"Second is that sometime in the near future I would like to visit me again. And I would like for you to bring the stars with you."

Deidrick kind of spun on the spot, one head grabbed at the young girls shirt, stopping her from running away. The other ones just tried to get there bearings.

"Woof! Hold on now, wha'ts the big idea?"

Unfortunatly, Leaf didn't know naga's very well, except for that excentric drow captian she had heard of. Was this some kind of trick, or was the naga crazy?

And if it wasn't, well she had no idea how to deal with it anyway. Her emotionless face and voice perhaps served her well this time. "Certainly we will be your friends, naga." She elbowed Fin to shakle him out of the shock. "Do you know this palce well?"

"I like grand things." She gave a sweet little grin to Arthur then held even tighter to Isle's hand while she was looking around at Honorsfiled. "So what are we going to see Arthur?"

Zykariel was grateful for his father's support and he leaned back slightly against him then held the pole tightly waiting. And waiting, adn waiting some more. Just when he was deciding that this fishing thing wasn't nearly as much fun as he thought it would be. "Dinner? Does that mean Mother will cook it?"

A moment later he felt something latch onto that bug and start pulling. He tightened his hold on the pole adn tugged back just like Daddy had told him to do. "How long do I tug for Daddy?" Still tugging. It was like a game of tug of war like he and Malikhai played sometimes when they were being dragons.

Tara-kun looked at Meilikki rather scewly. Until this moment, he had no idea that people were callous except in story books."Ok." He whispered softly, probably audiable to most of the elves in the room if not all. His sour expression showed that he did not appreaciate being considered the spawn of a murderer simply because he shared the same name as him. He seemed to look at Mielikki with questioning eyes, considering she seemed to invite these people here. At first they were very interesting, but now some of them were very questionable in intentions.

"Yes, we will be your friends." Fin added to Leaf's words, "It would be go-"

The naga turned his oddly shapped head to Leaf, "I know this place very well. These tunnels, they last forever. You cannot escape, you cannot linger. You cannot sleep or dally. Just shed you skin and run, because a monster lurks down here. Frrrrrrrriends." He smiled in a very profane expression, "Come with me if you want to live, I'll protect you as long as you Looooooooooove me." He slithered towards one direction slowly, allowing the pair to follow. "Becarefull, or you'll get eaten by whatever eats all the others..."

Of course a look over as the first half of his name was mentioned. It was a normal reaction from him and of course when mommy was using that tone that she used when she wasn't happy, it could be either him or daddy. But it seemed he wasn't the one who Meilikki was talking to. And it also seemed the other child in the room wasn't in a good mood. So then a turn to his father and the pick me up gesture was given.

Well that just feel right into plan now didn't it? "I see." Seemed it was time to pay back the price of Malik's life, but it wasn't going to be as hard as it was before. Meilikki was cutting her a break. Someone Piper was thankful for that, perhaps because she was a mother now. Though a tilt of her head. "Bring the stars..." Thinking on that a moment and then smiling. "I do believe that I can do that Meilikki, on my word." After all, she knew a way to bring stars to a starless place. Malikhai wouldn't be happy about it, but she could get him a new one. "So, are you going to keep me in suspense of what I am to do until these keys are delivered to you?" Meilikki used to love doing that.

"Hey, she doesn't have to cook everything. I know how to cook up a fish and make it taste good too." Giving a little chuckle at his own expense before tightening his grip a little as the poled gave a jerk. "See how he tugs back? Means he's got the hook stuck in him. You keep pulling until he gets tired or you get stronger than him and can pull him out of the water." Of course he wasn't going to trump the boy's pride by helping him until he asked for it."

Malik looked at Tarathiel and smirked lightly.

"I consider you a Koada'Dal, not the spawn of the Drow captain Tarathiel..or better Kimmuriel. But your kind, and my kind, have been at states of perpetual war since time immemorial. forgive that my eyes take on a jaded view from time to time."

though his attention back on Meilikki when she mentioned the Purian penninsula.

"Are they as stubborn with you as they are with me?"

Onyx was now awake..showered twice, and dressed..and his first point of duty was Aella. checking in her room after a few knocks. next point of buisness woudl be locate Piper nad find out why she was here.

Tarathiel looked at Malik, and tilted his head. "Koada'Dal are from Norrath. I am from Ellistrial. We are not related. Our peoples have never warred. You are wrong to look at me so. You are forgiven for your missinformed opinion." Kimmuriel was a name that sounded very familiar. It was spoken in many different lights in these walls.

She looked back at Taratheil with those ever patient and understanding eyes. The real world was much harsher than children realized, and she wouldn't mind of Tara had a few more years of that innocent bliss before he was exposed to the hardness of life. She kept holding onto him, because she wouldn't want him to get sad, as he was want to do.

She smiled with what mischeif she was allowed. "Oh no, it will be a surprise, like always." It was hard to let go of old habits, wasn't it. "Wonderful, I have thought on them for some time now, and I believe I am sick of dreaming and not knowing what they look like."

Then to Malik. "Stubborn? No, surely not. They were eager to accept any task I had to give them." She sighed. "All those elves want is to get back to the surface."

Aella was brushing out her hair infront of a mirror, lost in thought.

Leaf swallowed, felt the bubbling of fear in gut. How terribly exciting, unfortunatly. "I have a feeling the naga," said very quitly, so taht onyl the ears of an elf could hear "may not be completely sane, or very clever." She followed after the serpant, afraid and excited, showing non of it. "Naga," she called after it. "Do you know where the pure element is?"

"Trust me the market place is a grand pace to go too." He said with a small chuckle as he looked back towards both elves, one with a smile and the other having such a cute grin displayed, that grin made him want to hug little Lark so much. A small chuckle was heard coming from the male elf when Isle made her comment about taking them to the marketplace. "Trust me Isle, as long as you two don't go running off to look at every single shinny thing you see or every human you find interesting you'll be alright." He wasn't insulting them, he was worried about them since they are first timers in the Underdark everything will be appealing to them, a bad thing for a place like Honorfeild, though it was way worse to be curious when it was still Lostgrace back then. Though Arthur kept on walking backwards ever since they started walking towards the marketplace since he wanted to talk to the two elves, though it was little Lark who had his attention now. "What we are going to see is how busy it gets in the marketplace here in Honorfeild during the day. So what I want you to do is stay very close to Isle here and don't, whatever you do, go off on your own okay?" Once he had his answer they walked the rest of the way in silence.

Once they reached the marketplace it looked like any normal market place, stands with people selling stuff from meat to jewels, musicians playing around a water fountain or two, crowds of families going from place to place buying food an other needs plus throw in some animals and carts and you had a major working marketplace. So Arthur had a fun tie with Isle and Lark as they wandered around, pointing out certain things and plus all the humans which the older elf had to point out what they do and what occupation they were in. Isle of course had to go see the musicians since being a bard she was drawn towards them and little Lark wanted to see the jewelry and other little things that interested a little elf. Yet Arthur always kept them in check, hoping they would go running off and getting into trouble, though after awhile they came across a smith that expanded at least three vendor stands that had all the works to complete it, from raw materials to complete weapons; as they wandered by Arthur had a feeling that this place looked familiar.

"ARTHUR!!!!" Shouted someone and before the elf could realize what was going on a big human, a man who stood six feet tall and six inches who was built sideways with tones of muscle on him and had a red beard and a bald head and looked really dirty, came up out of the smithy and gave the elf a bear hug, squeezing him really hard. "Ack!" the elf managed to say as his breath was squeezed right out of him.

Kora grunted as she felt the harsh pull of her shirt fabrick hold her back. A few of the honney coated baked yams fell out of her backpack on impact. One of them rolled its way towards Rusty.

Kora stared at the feline critted a long drawn out moment before slowly sweeping her gaze towards Deidrick. She was startled by the sight of a massive talking 3 headed dog-like creature. Not that these sights were uncommon, but she expected an angry law abiding citicen who'd witnessed her theiving... well, not to say that this canine wasn't a law abiding citicen... she suposed she expected to see one who stood on two legs, as oposed to four.

Her stumach growled. She thought about her options for a breif moment, and grinned clumsily and submissivly to Deidrick.

"I'm sorry, I guess I was in too much of a hurry. I have people waiting for supper, and you see, I'm running a little late"

She noted it being way past dusk, and now night.

"Umm... a lot late"

She also noted that her honney coated yams have been spilled onto the ground. Not that she minded, but to anyone who is well paid and well fed... well... you know.

Kora realised she wasn't doing a good convincing job of working her way out of this mess... she let slip a tired groan.

Tara-kun gripped Meilikki's arm, and ran his hand along the smooth skin.

The naga looked up at the Elf, "Pure element?" He coiled and looked at her. "Pure pure pure pure... AHHH!" He dashed about in awild frenzy, "The monster ate another one." The snake skin lay on the floor nearby, one that had foot prints on it of two medium sized elves.

"IT was not eaten, friend." Fin pointed at it, "Its your snake skin."

"It is?" He paused, "Oh... I thought it was wierd how they keep multiply but I never see them until after I find the skins... SO I AM THE MURDERER!" HE spun, "That means I should eat your insides and leave your skins to decorate the floor." He coiled into an offensive spur.

Lharika followed along after Isle, holding tightly to her hand as they wandered over to the smith's spot. But she wanted to look at the jewelry and there was a stand not too far from them. Slipping her hand out of Isle's she skipped over to the vendor and reached for a particularly pretty necklace with rubies and emeralds and some other intersting stones too. "My pearls for this necklace?" she asked holding up the string.

Zykariel would believe that when he tasted it. He'd had some of Daddy's food and anything that wasn't chicken nuggets, well wasn't edible. But his attention was taken with fishing and he tugged harder on pole trying to yank the fish out of the water.

The fish put up a great fight but Zykariel stayed with him teh whole way, trying to tug him out. Of course his little arms weren't strong enough to yank that huge scaly thing out of the water so he eventually tugged as hard as he could shoving back into his father. But oh what fun!

"Daddy! I need your help 'cause I can't get him without you!" Still tugging hard on that pole and getting the fish to skid on the top of the water before he dove back down with a new ingrained will to fight.
