She looked back to Aubry and Jay.
"Well? What are you two having?"

Storm turned to Zia and Miada, flabberegasted.
"What am I to do with these girls, sweetlings?"
They were sitting as still as she had ever seen them, sipping at cups of "tea." Which is what they called cups of plain sugar. Her daughters shrugged Storm's own shrug, meaning nothing and everything.
"Give them," "Something," "They won't expect." "Like that," "Rattle snake," "Thingamaboop." "What a wonderful word!" "Why, thank you!"
That set the crow girls off on a giggling tangit.

"make that a coffee instead of the water..." Aubry said. when the crow girls had said something about snakes, Nagini came out of Aubry's coat and hissed.

Jay jumped when she saw Nagini, thinking it was a squid of some sort. If there's one thing that Jamacia Sparrow is afraid of in this world, it's squids. Giant squids, little squids, squid-y beards like Davy Jones and such. Particularly the Kraken. She shuddered at the memory of her brother being swallowed by it.

Storm sighed.
"Of course, sure, have the boring drinks."
She went back behind her bar, and pulled a bright green bottle off of the back wall. She poured steaming black coffee into a cup and looked up at Jay. Storm shrugged.
"Venom, scales, the rattles. Whatever. It's delicous."
She grinned.

"would you have any other exotic drinks?" she looked at Nagini and hissed at her in snake language, making Nagini stop hissing at the crow girls, and just to pretend that it's Justice ((Aubry's eagle)).
