Arikku smiled happily, "Arigato, Serena-san." she said getting up and going to the front of the room. "Okay this dance is called 'Flowing River.'" Arikku said then looked to the others, "I've never done this dance in front of others, so if it looks really bad please don't be mad." she said as she bowed to them.
She then pulled her fan out and waited for the spot in the music to come. She then started to dance with her fan in the grace, power, and gentleness of the stream and river. She danced a lot better then she thought she would. It had a couple of faults, of course, but she thought the patron might not notice.

Makoto's eyes grew wide, like a rabbit down the mouth of a tiger.
"W...Wha!? M...Miharu-chan no I...I couldn't, I'd just embrass myself, there is no way that I am good enough yet to dance in front of people."

PrincessRyoko Makoto's eyes grew wide, like a rabbit down the mouth of a tiger. "W...Wha!? M...Miharu-chan no I...I couldn't, I'd just embrass myself, there is no way that I am good enough yet to dance in front of people." "would you dance in front of one?" Shagatsu said with a small smile. "I would love to play for you while you danced." he said softly so only Makoto could hear. "Ive been meaning to see if i could write music for dances." he said almost to himself with a laugh.

Makoto's head slowly lowred, her cheeks growing very pink.
"But I have never danced infront of any one before and it is not traditional style. I...I..."
She contined to blush, her head turned to Nitta hoping that she'd have a say in it.

Arikku sat down and giggled at Makoto. "Come on, you can dance. I've seen it, I've even learned part of it while watching you. I like the dance." she said smiling at Makoto trying to get her motivated and less shy.
"And hey we need something not so traditional at times. Plus it's not like you to be shy." She said and smiled agian. She had admired the dance while they were at the okiya. She loved it and thought it was different. She nudged her up to go and dance.

Makoto blushed even more, she begain to shake everyone wanted to see her dance she didn't want to dissapoint them or her Nee-sama.
"I...I...I guess I have no choice then do I?"
Makoto laughed uneasily.

She smiled to Serena, "Arigato gozaimasu Serena-san." she said and smiled agian. The maiko then turned her attention to Makoto.
Arikku giggled, "No you don't." she said. She then sat there and thought a second, "Would it wake you feel better if I sing to the song for you?" she asked feeling a little nervous if she said yes, since she had never sang in front of people before. But hey it might make her feel better to have me do something I haven't done in front of people either. She thought to herself then smiled at Makoto.

Arikku smiled, "No I want to, I haven't gotten the chance to yet and I need to get over my nerves of performing." she whispered to her so noone could hear. She hoped she wasn't sounding demanding to Makoto. She most certainly didn't want to sound mean to her friend. She knew she had to sing cause she felt embarassed to be so nervous about performing.
She smiled then said "What kind of fan do you need Makoto-chan?" she asked with a puzzled look.

Makoto thought for a moment.
"Um, I suppose right now it wouldn't matter, I know my own fan is not one that would really fit my performance, so for now I don't think it will matter."

Arikku looked around a moment. She then picked up the fan she had today. It was a fan that was less traditional from the other fans. She had picked it up since she couldn't find the other one. She took it out and showed it to Makoto, "What about this one?" she asked handing the fan to her.

Arikku smiled, "Doitashimashite." she said as looked at her cup. She took a sip then said, "Are you ready?" she took another sip of her sake then looked to Makoto.
She shifted her position to her knees and sat back down.

Makoto gulped.
"As I'll ever be, I guess."
Makoto took seaveral deep breathes before making her way to the center of the tea house. She took another deep breath looking around the room, she could feel her heart beating in her throat, she was still a bit shakey.
"I will warn you all now, I am not that good, and this is somthing I had made up really."
Makoto closed her eyes for a moment, standing still taking several deep breaths, she slowly begain to open her eyes a bit more confidence showing.
