Well after maybe a few minutes Arthur blush had finally receded and was gone for good, he really needed to keep himself under control when it came to stuff like that. Drinking the rest of his wine in his glass the elf just set it down on the table before resting in his chair, he may wanted to have a drink but why get drunk in front of someone he invited over? that would be a stupid thing to do. "Yeah Piper does have her hands full, but really it was more like Malik just brought up that I'll be getting bow lessons from him and didn't even mentioned that Piper wasn't going to be training me, I don't look at it as something bad I'm just glad I'm being trained in knowing how to use it." Yup Arthur had gained a lot into different kinds of weapons over the past few years, though he just feels comfortable with his katana and bow. When Isle brought up the subject of a device that mimic's the sky on the surface that made Arthur lean forwards with interest in his eye. "Really? think you could use it now?" He asked with a light smile, hey he was really into seeing the surface sky with his own eye, though even if it was just a mimic it would satisfy his appetite for now.

A shrug. "Piper would be better to learn bow from, she's half wood elf after all. I learned my own bowing from her." Reaching to her belt pouch she rummaged around it for a moment before bringing out one of those modified sun spot holders, just like the one that Kieran had given Piper a few years ago. She set it on the table between them, opening it and then gave a few clicks on the little ring around it until it activated, projecting an early morning blue sky on the ceiling above. "See? That's what dawn looks like...this little thing works as if the sun and moon are really tracking throughout the day...though for convience purposes it can be sped up and stopped as well."

Malik came to the kitchen, still not in the best of moods but a sight better than he had been, settling himself in a chair and looking over at Piper and the others.
"You're not dehydrating anything, are you?"

And plate with a sandwich was plopped on the table for Malik. "No, I'm not dehydrating anything." Private jokes were fun, weren't they? Usually when he caught her dehydrating things that meant her wanderlust had kicked in. "No worries for you, no one's going away long enough for that. Just quick lunch. Eat up." Thus walking over to Malikhai and messing with his hair as he was eating his sandwich.
"Done workin' daddy?" Because usually that was always the first question that he always asked Malik. He considered it to be the most important question to ask his father above all others. "We're going to go see mommy's friend." As if his father didn't know. "I get to go." Eating his sandwich before he remembered something important. "Oh, thank you for letting me have a draithix."

The elf nodded lightly at her statement as he shifted around in his seat. "That's true she is but Malik is the over seer of my training and whatever Malik says goes." Yup that was the way things worked at the fortress, which is why he had his home built in the first place so that drow wouldn't bug him even when he finished training. Though he watched as Isle reached into her belt pouches and brought out something and set it on the table, then after opening it and pressing a few things the sky was suddenly appearing on his ceiling, looking up with amazement and a shocked look on his face Arthur rested back into his chair with a "Wow." coming from his lips. "It's beautiful...makes me wish I could just move to the surface..." Yup this was making Arthur's 'I wanna go someplace' nerve itch badly, and he wanted to see more of the sky. "Can you make it go...oh what's the one part of the sky I wanted to see...oh a sunset before nighttime." Yup he had heard from one traveler a long time ago about sometime he spent on the surface and the one thing he couldn't forget was a sunset while he was up there, it made Arthur wish he was born on the surface instead of in the Underdark.

"Twilight? Easy enough." Thus leaning forward and turning the dil like device that ringed it, the pale dawn turning into hues of blue as she kept turning it, a click heard from time to time. Then those blues started to fade in the fiery colors of the dusk with the tinges of purples and blues on the fringes...wonderful little crytal manipulatiting device this was. And she stopped turning. "There, sunset." Yes it was indeed nice to see it, the view from the peaks of Lucana was amazing.

"Yes work is all done. and your welcome."
So he took to eatting his sandwich, and it was devoured rather quickly, before taking a look aroudn and noting the abscence of a particular individual.
"Where's isle at?"

"Gallavanting around the underdark with Arthur as he safeguard, apparently. Rather like her though." After all, who do you think taught Piper that the first thing you do is explore when you're in a new place? Yup, Rainsong. Giving a little grin as her son swatted her hands away from his hair and then she turned her look on Malik. "Are you going to at least try and be pleasant?"

Arthur watched slowly as Isle leaned forwards and turned the little dial on the device so that the sky can change to what he had asked for, though his eye went straight back up to the 'sky' above him as it started to change into different hues of blue until they started to turn into red, oranges and yellows. Then suddenly Isle stopped turning the device and voila Arthur was now looking at a sunset. "Gods, it's really beautiful..." he muttered as he watched the sky with a lot of interest, all the different shades of warm colour plus the bits of purple and blue made it nice to watch, it was simply amazing. "I really need to go to the surface..." He said in a monotone type of voice as he kept his gaze on the sky.

"Yes, it is very beautiful...but keep watching, even the darkness can be beautiful." Leaning forward again and turning the dial once more to make the sunset fade into a sapphire night sky that was chock full of twinkling stars. "The night sky." Smiling at the sight...that was something grand to behold from the mountain tops as well. But her eyes returned to him. "You know, you could write a letter to Silvercrest...and petition him to take you under his responsibility to let you go to Andal for a few days."

Arthur blinked a few times as he looked down to Isle, a tiny smile creeping onto his face. "The darkness huh? Well this I gotta see." And boy did he see, once Isle turned the dial once more the imaged shifted and the sunset faded into night sky, not like the one Arthur was use to but the surface version, filled with dozens upon dozens of twinkling stars, plus the sky being a beautiful shade of sapphire blue made Arthur's opinion of darkness totally different. "What a beautiful sky..." He whispered lightly and his smile turned into another grin as his eye traveled over each star he could see. Though when Isle brought up a good point of him actually writing a letter to Kieran so he could up there he couldn't hide the large grin he had set on his face. "You got a great mind in you Isle..." His head slowly lowered so he could stare her in the eyes. "I should do that, it would allow me to get away from here plus I could learn a thing or two about my own people." Thank the Gods Isle came down to the Underdark, if he was allowed to go to the surface he would have to taken Kieran for allowing Isle to come down here.

She loved it when she made people's days. It was just so fulfilling. Though she gave a giggle or two over his enthusiasm over it. It really was a cute thing. "Daddy always said that if I didn't have a good head on my shoulders then he didn't know what in the plane was getting me out of trouble all the time." Another giggle at that before she brushed some lavender strands from her eyes. "But I warn you, Andal is a closed plane. Things such as rule and order are held in high regard...anything you do can get Kieran in trouble if he claims responsibility of you during your stay. He was thrown into the Crest Brigade lock up over Malik when he was there and caused some upset. The Crest Brigade does not descriminate among social rank."

Arthur was a happy elf, he was able to witness the sky that was above the surface and now he just might have a chance to actually go up there. Though he laughed at Isle's comment as he leaned back in his seat, if it wasn’t for Isle right now he would probably be training with Malik, thank the gods for these visits from relatives. Though when she gave him warning about the surface and whatnot she had his full attention when she spoke, and when she was done he nodded lightly as he thought it over. "Well alright then, as long as I have a guide or something to help me along with everything up there and show me how things goes I don't think I'll cause any trouble, besides I try and stay out of trouble as much as I can when I'm in a new place." Though he wondered for a few seconds about how things worked up on the surface. "Shouldn't the person who caused the trouble be the one responsible? It just sounds odd to me." Poor Kieran, he is such a great guy and because of Malik and his way of doing things he got thrown into lock up, that man didn't deserve it; but as always one person can't really challenge the way people live because it would be odd and draw unnecessary attention to them.

"Oh but that's not fun." A little tilt of her head in thought. "Though I guess Labyrinth has become a closed plane as well from what I've heard...only people who can get into it are those who know the way and no others." Isleandra shrugged at that and leaned back in her chair. "If you have never been to Andal, then you can't possibly know all the rules. Thus you're more or less ignorant of being responsible for yourself and thus someone must take responsibility for you...almost as if you're being babysat. The Crest Brigade takes great strides to make sure Andal remains prosperous."

Arthur nodded lightly towards Isle, she was right Labyrinth has become a closed plane too, it just made things weird for everyone. "That's why Malik is making changes to his land since he can't really trade with the surface anymore, but things are working out for the best really." A small shrug as if he was picking that up from Isle and a small sigh escaped his lips, so after watching the portable verison of Andal's sky he was coming down from being over excited and as he rested in his chair he listen in on Isle as she explained the way things worked on the surface, nodding in response as it clicked in his head. "I see what you mean...I’ll just make sure I don't get into trouble, and also I should get the tailor down here to make some good cloths worthy of the people eyes up on the surface, don't want them looking at me thinking I'm a beggar or something." Now that would be an awkward situation for Arthur wouldn't it? So after a few moment s of speaking for a little bit Arthur slapped the arm rests on his chair and leaned forwards. "I think we should start playing our beloved musical instruments, and such a moment deserves to be played under the night sky." Of course saying that last bit Arthur waved his hand towards the sky that was above the both of them, he loved the stars and how they twinkle as they hung above both elves, it was the perfect set to play some music.
