Right after he finished putting his katana on the mantel he had over the fireplace the elf turned to see Isle shielding her eyes from the fire, even the statement she made him feel like a completely idiot for just sparking the fire without telling her. "Oh gods Isle you alright? I'm sorry about that I always put the fire on right when I get home." He wandered about half way from the fire place to where she was standing and stopped when he saw that she was alright. "Again I'm deeply sorry for that, it all slipped my mind." And Arthur was mentally kicking himself for doing such a childish thing, he needed to be more careful while around Isle.
"Are you sure? It's not a problem, I don't mind playing a humble host I don't see that many people out here anyway, besides a little wine can't hurt now can it?" He stated with a little chuckle as he walked up the tiny steps that lead to his kitchen, though he stopped about halfway when he realized something. "Where are my manners? I forgot to give you a tour..." Pausing for a minute he hopped off the steps and wandered over to Isle, standing maybe a few feet away from her. "I first welcome you to my home, it's a pleasure to have you here really, now this area..." He trailed off to pointed to where his mini library, dining hall and training area is. "Is sort of a mix, I got a small library there, a dining table there if I have guests, and the large space is for training when I want to do some." With a small nod to that Arthur turned towards the two wooden doors that were opposite of the front door. "The door on the left is my master bedroom and the door on the right is the guest room, the only difference is one is occupied while the other holds no body in it." A small chuckle as he turned back towards the steps he was on before. "And those steps Lady Rainsong lead to the kitchen where I cook good meals every night and my pantry is also there, hence on the outside if you look there’s like a little bump sticking out of the wall." Another chuckle and a playful smile was across his lips as he walked over to those small steps. "Come Lady Rainsong lets drink a little before we being to play our instruments, I haven't played in awhile so you give me a good reason to!" And with that Arthur made his way up the stairs and into the kitchen where noises of him looking for a wine bottle can be heard.

"I just want them somewhere safe." He merely followed his mother as she was more or less leading both of them or at least staying in front, but soon enough they stopped at a little spot that was near the far side of the lake and rather good looking.
"This should be good...we'll just put up some fencing and what not to have boundaries for a little while until they learn." A look down at Malikhai. "But you don't come out here alone, even if they are yours to take care of." Then a look to Lharika. "Input?"
Sevilin gave a nod and wandered himself off to the library...and yes more or less didn't pay attention to Zahara as she was sitting there, obviously paying most of her attention to Nym at the moment. Besides, she probably didn't want to talk to him right now anyway, would probably want to throw a book at him or something. Thus scanning the shelves a moment and finding the book and heading back to his son, sitting down next to him. "Alright then, we have our book."
She looked at him funny. "Why are you apologizing...you couldn't of possibly known..." After all, it wasn't like moon elves were walking around telling everyone how they could augment thier vision to thier needs and of course the drawbacks to that. That was asking to have someone exploit the useful yet fickle trait.
Though then it seemed that she was getting a tour, and she merely listened as he went about pointing out parts of his house, not that is was too horribly hard to figure what was what. "It's cozy." Then again she was never one for inside spaces anyway. But her attention turned back to him as she followed him to his little kitchen area. "You don't need an excuse to play...if I needed one, I would be causing trouble all the time to fine such opportunities." But then a little sigh. "I suppose half a glass wouldn't be too bad." After all, he seemed right excited about all of this, might as well indulge him.

"I'm apologizing because you are still trying to get use to the dark down here and by bringing up a flame like that it hurts your eyes, you're not use to this place like I am since I believe on the surface you at least have some form of light during the night, besides I guess if you haven't noticed but I will worry too much about the little things..." His voice trailed off as he kept on looking for that stupid wine bottle, though when she commented on his home all he said was "Thanks I'm glad to live in it." Followed by another laugh, he felt a little uppity right now for some reason. "Well the reason I say you are a excuse for me to play is because I don't have enough time right now to even grab my violin, I go to the Twilight and I don't know how long I'll be training so I keep my violin tucked away in it's case." A small shout of triumph could be hard as he pulled away from the counter with a bottle of wine in his hands. "Here we go...I believe you'll love this..." He said as he grabbed two glasses and set them on the table like space in the center of the kitchen. With a light pop the bottle was opened and he poured the glasses half way, after setting the bottle down Arthur grabbed his glass and raised it to make a toast. "Here is to new friendship and beautiful music." He pronounced with a small heart full chuckle as he tapped his glass with Isle's before taking a sip.

"I don't wish to bore with the details, but as you're Necromancers have probably already reported, I'm using this soulless monkey shell to house myself until the completion of my mission. As to the nature of my mission, I seek and item called the Dragon's eye. It's well, a crystal, in the shape of a Dragon's eye. It's a very powerful talisman from my world, which was banished to darkness betwee worlds so as to not cause anymore harm. This artifact was the cause of a devasting war on my homeworld. We recently discovered it had landed here. My people cannot afford to have something like this fall into the wrong hands." He was calcualting and intelligent, but there was one thing which he wasn't, discreet.

The little girl studied the spot carefully, walking around it and looking at it from all angles. She bent down and felt the evenness of the ground and attempted to determine the likelihood of anyone stumbling upon the eggs. Of course with Piper's mention of building fences that fear was pretty much absolved and she nodded. "I think this spot will do well. Just make sure they stay warm. That's highly important. Daddy Kieran says without warmth, they won't hatch."
Zahara did glance up as Sevilin came into the room but she said nothing. She'd seen her son standing there a moment before though she hadn't let on that she had. For some reason he didn't want to enter the library right now. She wondered briefly if it was because he couldn't reach the book but the one Sevilin withdrew was on a lower shelf. In fact if she remembered correctly it was the book of drow tales that had been placed there specifically by Zykariel so he could grab it and read it anytime he wanted too. Sevilin's organization compulsions were even satisfied since it could just go under "T" for Tales. Everyone won, so why didn't Zykariel himself come into the library and get it? "That's very odd Nym...Very odd indeed." Mindlessly scratching at the ferret's skin as she debated the reasoning going on in the head of a three year old child. Not that she had a lot of experience doing so but it gave her something to contemplate while she sat there, something aside from her own slips and problems.
Zyakriel gave his father a grin and stopped tugging on the string that was already giving way to a hold at the bottom of his sock. Nym might like them soon if the hole didn't get much bigger. He brushed his finger over the patch of black skin revealed beneath the white cotton and then dropped his foot. "I like this one." Thus climbing into Daddy's lap and settling himself there, before flipping through the glossy pages and finding the very story he wanted. "There she is. Ebony Black."
He began to "read" the story to his father, telling him all about Ebony and how she was being pursued by the evil witch. When he got to the part about the witch casting a spell on the girl he paused. "Daddy? Is that what happened to Zara?" Turning to meet his father's eyes. "Did her mother try to hurt her and that's why she ran away?" He tapped the picture of a young drow maiden fleeing from the regally dressed sorceress character of her mother, the older drow's fingers crackling with evil energy as she pursued the younger. Wheels were definitely turning in his little mind, though Sevilin wouldn't know that. Genuine curiosity gleamed in his little eyes and a bit of apprehension about asking. After all, last time Daddy had gotten upset.

That got a raise of an eyebrow. really now. something that potentially powerful here? that might be something very, very useful. which got a slight grin on the Tier'dal's features.
"I see. well then...here's a deal for you. I'll assist you in finding this artifact, if you'll do something for me. it's really very simple. The Purian Penninsula has been aggravating me for sometime. there is a legion of orcs that may prove useful in routing or forcing them into submission. you take this legion, form them into a wortwhile force, and drive the Purians to thier knees...and I will use the resources at my disposal to find this artifact."
And keep it for myself, added silently. besides, in an undead body what coudl he do? just die again?

A small, sly smile grew across his features, a deep ravishing fire burned in his eyes. "Orcs? Those massive idiotic creatures? You need me to scare somebody into submission? I don't the help of those stinking Orcs. You want an army, then you'll have an army." he smiled, his eyes filled with bloodlust and fire.

She gave a giggle. "You know not what you speak of Galesen...I have not had a single problem with the dark, or my eyes adjusting to it. I have been able to see down here as if the sun was shining at mid day." And that was all she was saying because she knew better than to let go of too much information on that trait. Poking lightly at the table in inspection like ways as he searched for that bottle. "You don't own your own life and time?" After all, why would he constantly do what he was always told then? "In debt to Malik I assume?" Because well, she knew Malik didn't really do the slave thing too much anymore. But his noise drew her back and she gave him a smile as he got glasses and passed one over to her. She studied it a moment before taking a sip. "Indeed, new experiences."
"Good then, it's settled. And no worries, we'll be able to keep them warm just fine, there's plenty of ways to do it." More or less taking to herding both children back inside. "So then, shall we have some lunch before we go see Meilikki?"
"Daddy's gonna eat through lunch again isn't he?"
"Perhaps. But you can yell at him for it later, can't you?
He let the boy settled as he may, and then went about working himself into a comfortable position on the proclaimed evil couch as well...and more or less tried to ignore the boy's sock...seemed like that kid was trying to tear his clothes up. He tried not to pay too much attention and merely let his attention focus on the story...though he would stop his son from time to time, trying to get his to read the actual words, over just making it up as he went. Kid had to learn to read after all.
But then here were the questions again. Okay, he could handle these...after all, they weren't about him. "Indeed, that's why she ran away. Her mother and her sister both tried to hurt her." Among others but no need to tell the boy that. When he wasn't talking about himself he was able to answer in rather normal tone.

Arthur blushed lightly at Isle's giggle, it was sweet and just hearing it made his ears twitch just a little whenever she let lose one of her giggles. But instead of saying another word because she had proven her point Arthur just sipped his wine a little more before setting it on the table lightly. "Actually I'm basically one of his warriors to his house somewhat, he just wants to train me because he thinks I lack certain fighting skills and everything else. I'm also in debt to Sevilin since he is teaching me how to control my magic a lot better." Yup Arthur owed to a lot of people he knew of, he just hoped they wont come calling for his payment anytime soon. So taking his glass into one hand and the bottle in the other Arthur slowly lead Isle back down into the dining room and sat down in one of the leather couches, but of course he offered Isle her seat before sitting down himself, setting the bottle on the little table in the center. "Lets just relax a bit before we play." He said with a light sigh as he sat back in the chair, he got this custom made and it was so soft on the body he just want to sit in it all day. "So how do you like the Underdark so far?" He asked with a wondering look on his face.

That was good to hear, now wasn't it? She'd been slightly worried about the eggs ever since they had arrived but she trusted Piper to make sure they survived and she knew from personal experience just how many ways an elf had to generate the needed heat. "Lunch sounds good. What are we having?" Then another giggle and she covered her mouth to stifle it. "I yell at Daddy Kieran when he tries to thwart Uncle Lateef from chaining him to his desk. It's really funny."
He nodded to Sevilin's answer and went back to the book, this time though Zykariel finally indulged his father and began to actually read the words on the pages. He paused again a moment later, confusion clear on his face, "But I thought you said I didn't have any aunts. If Zara's got a sister doesn't that mean I do have one?"
But that question was really more of a protest, he had a few more he wanted to ask. "Why was her mother trying to hurt her? I thought Llothians only played with men. At least that's what Mr. Malik said."

"Ah, an elf who is living up to his debts. Again, another admirable quality to you. And who knows, maybe you are indeed learning something. You can't possibly know it all yet...you don't seem that old." Following him them to the chairs, plopping down in one and sipping at her wine, taking a moment to shift in more comfortable position from having sat on her sword. But she gave a little shrug. "I suppose it has a certain charm to it. Not nearly as dangerous and such as the storied have been told about it. But I do fear I'm already missing the sky..." Then again living in the mountians as she did it was probably expected.
Piper gave a laugh of her own as they made thier way to the kitchen, a few instructions being given to those that were there and of course Keely was already there ready to start lunch perparation. "Keely, why don't you go get yourself all prettied up? I know you want to come see Meilikki too." Watching the girl scamper excitedly off before looking to Lark. "Hm, well...how about we make our own? Something simple today. No one wants to travel on an overly full stomach. Sandwiches?" Hey Piper was always fine with non fancy hand held almost travel esk food."
"And a cookie." Because you needed to have a desert with every meal. You just had too. Though the kitchen did always fascinate him, seeing as he had never really seen his parents prepare a meal or ever got the urge to do it himself, seeing as his meals were usually already on the table before he got to it. Though a look at Lharika. "Why would grampa need to be chained down?"
Another pause and another question. Fair enough. "You don't have any aunts. Remember, they all died? They're not around anymore...so yes once you did, but now you don't. You wouldn't want to meet them anyway, they were awful mean." And then right onto another question. He cerintally spoke his mind. "Her mother was trying to hurt her because she had done something that was wrong and she didn't approve of." Trying to keep it simple.

Arthur blushed again, Isle just seemed to keep on finding ways to keep his blushes around for long times, even when he's around Zahara Arthur never blushed this hard in a very long time. "Yup you got a point, Malik is trying to teach me how to use a bow, I also had gotten some dagger practice from Zahara, and some language lessons from Piper...seems that everyone is training me so much these days." He said with a small nervous chuckle. Arthur then took a nice sip of his wine before moving around in his seat again so he could try and stay comfortable. he really liked these chairs but after awhile he would get stiff so he always moved around. But the elf nodded at the woman who sat across from him a little. "Well it does a little, the Underdark just seems so...mysterious sometimes...though I wish I could see the sky that you now missing, I've never seen it in my life before and I just want to see all of it instead of the darkness for a change." Yup Arthur was one adventurous spirit, kind of makes him wish he went to Piper and Malik's wedding a couple of years back.

"Good. you do that, and I'll help you out. methods don't matter."
In fact, the less 'help' you use, the less likely it is to come back to me.
"So we have ourselves a deal. you tame the purians to my banner, and I'll help find this dragon's eye. since that's all there really is to it, you can go about your buisness, and I'll go about mine."
idly dimissed, and back upstairs with him. oh no Piper wasn't sneaking out of here without him this time.

"Sandwiches sound good. A little meat between two slices of bread makes a fine meal indeed." A giggle. Unlike Malikhai she was a regular in the kitchen at home since all the good stuff was prepared down there and she got first dibs when helping. Of course some of it was usually set aside for her anyway, but she liked helping out and getting teased by the palace workers. Made her little family seem that much bigger. "Because unlike your daddy, Daddy Kieran doesn't like to do paperwork. But Uncle Lateef knows that he's got to have it done and the only way to do it is to chain him to his desk till he gets it done. Kind of like if your parents put you in your room and told you not to come out until it was clean. Have they ever done that?"
Zykariel nodded and leaned back against his father's chest, sighing. "That's lots of people that have died..." He ran his hand lightly over the glossy picture on the page and stayed quiet for a little while. "But if she had done something wrong then she deserved to be punished for it. That's what parents are s'posed to do, right? Even if we don't like it." There were times he threw a fit and got put in his room in time out for it. He usually cried the entire time or threw a bigger fit until he cried himself into reverie or finally accepted it. He was let out and it was all hugs and kisses from there but still. Crossing his arms he shook his head, "Then she shouldn't have run away. There's consta-quenches and running from them only makes you a scaredy-drow." A cute little 'hmmph' and then he continued. "Besides, once you're all done being punished you always get hugs and love and that makes everything better."

He blushed an awful lot didn't he? Yes he sure did, Isle merely shook her head to it before setting aside her glass on the table between them, her glass hafl drained. Sure, she could take a glass or four of wine, but she didn't want to come off as a drunk or anything to someone new. "Oh, you're not learning your bow skill from Pip? Then again I guess with Malikhai to take care of she can't really give too much attention anywhere else." Giving a little shrug to that. "You know, we have devices that mimic a sky and the different stages of it during the day and night. Kieran gave me one, said I should use it."
"No, they stand there and make sure I clean it. But I don't mess them up often. Grampa should just get other people to do it for him like daddy does when he wants to spend time with us." It was simple as that to him, but he was content ot munch on a sandwich that had been made during all of this and handed to him.
She glanced over, knowing Malik was done in the basement, and then turned her attention back to the kitchen and making lunch. In due time, Lharika was handed one and she had one for herself...and though she was slightly holding a grudge against him right now, she made one for Malik too and set it aside on a plate. Sanwiches...it was a classic. "Try not to get yourselves too messy, alright?"
He took a moment to consider the answer. "Sometime...parents are wrong. It's okay for them to punish you when you've done something wrong, but when you've done something that isn't really wrong to begin with, it isn't right for them to punish. Like the time you tried to clean the bathroom all by yourself, and go water all over the floor. I was upset, but I didn't punish you because you were trying to do something right, not cause trouble."
That should suffice. But it seemed the boy wasn't done. "Consequences." Throwing in casual word correction of course. And then a pat to the boy's hair, smoothing it down again...it was always sticking up somewhere. "Running doesn't make you a scardey-drow...sometimes it's smart to run...keep yourself alive. And there are bad parents too...they don't give hugs and love."
