"I wouldn't mind at all, though to be completely honest, I'm not all that great with dancing either. Though on the plus side, the lack of legs on my part means that you won't have to worry about your feet being stepped on." Imryn teased, placing one claw on Willow's waist while still holding the other as they began to dance. "Were you here with anyone tonight, just decided to come alone?"

Following the last song, the dancing duo heard a series of clear stepping. Tack, tack, tack. When the sound stopped, a lady in gorgeous dress stood in front of them. " Excuse me, I'd like to have the last dance with the little witch." A sweet smile was given.

Up on stage, Ren had already reached down for LW, grabbing her and pulling her up with him, sliding an arm around her waist. He held the microphone in one hand and used the other to spin her out and then back in again, twirling her around and smiling.
He leaned his forehead against hers, grinning.
"I love you, my darling," said Ren, and kissed her forehead. "For all my life."

The Igor blinked out of his concentration at the sudden voice over the music, and he glanced up to spot a boil wanting to cut in. He immediately let go of Maple, bowing politely to the monster. He had fulfilled his duty. He had danced with a stranger. He was being social see? He glanced over his hunch again to where the Council President and Vice President were now dancing, his stomach twisting. He couldn't tidy, he couldn't help. He couldn't offer to help. He could find someone else to dance with but he didn't want to. His troubled thoughts showed on his face, but the hunchback stepped back from the couple. He should find Barth and probably carry him home if Calder had gotten caught up in those horseman still. It would at least give him something to occupy himself.

Soren nodded, knowing that for most family was important. To him it was important to attempt to stay away from his family, but that was rather unusual. Her cousin in question though...personally he did not see caring so much for him. Put some muscle on him, make him someone that could protect a priestess rather than hiding behind her, and Soren would be impressed. Maybe he should give him some pointers. If his date had left him he obviously some tips. But he did have one thing right and Soren wished to acknowledge that. He looked at Bastion and nodded approvingly. "Her pleasure before your own."He probably would not have given him that advice if he had known they were talking about a student.

Somewhere, there was a young horsewoman, staring very intently at Mengyao and Lifen. Mental whispering of 'yes, good, now go in for the kill. No, no lower. Yes. Yessssssssss. Touch the butt.' She also looked at Soren and made the note to tell him about just how fattening the treats here were and how it was going to go right to his abs.

"Strange? You're the one obsessed with the old west." The ghoul grinned, winking at the boil. Ears perking up as Ren announced that the last song was on, she smiled slowly, rising up out of her seat.
"I went to last year's prom, silly boil. You woke me up with coffee beans and everything - that's actually when I started having a crush on you." Yup, there went the blush. She smiled through it though, tugging Mot to the dance floor. "Let's finish our prom on a high note, love. One more dance?"

Hel stared at Mac. She opened her mouth, and then promptly closed it. She opened it once more, and closed it again. She almost opened it, and then firmly pressed her lips together. He got her. He was right, and it was so clear, she had absolutely no way to counter that. “Yanno what? You are right.” She conceded, her tone, luckily, not being sarcastic. “I did. I also did not think about how that might have affected you until now, and I am sorry. On my word, it will not happen again.” Maybe she was being too calm…too rational… The absence of obnoxious pink out of the corner of her eye though, caught her attention, and Hel turned her head, in time to see Lottie trying to make a break for it. Hel looked back at Mac with a flat stare, and pointed at the ghoul. “ And you feel bad for that, really?”

Of course. He didn't know why he even harbored any doubt that Tomoko would be happy; who would even find it in themselves to make such a sweet ghoul sad, after all? And yet, he found a sigh rising up from the back of his throat, but forced it back with a smile and took her hand.
Wordlessly, he brought her out on the dance floor and put his other hand on her waist gently. Erebus couldn't find it in himself to talk, or even really think properly. His mind, and his chest too, for some reason, seemed to be swirling in such confusion that he couldn't make head or tails of, and the boil simply closed his eyes, and rested his forehead on hers as they swayed to the music.
And he hoped that was enough to make her happy, for that very moment.

{ Enter} Holding tight to Rosy's hands he grinned the whole way as she guided him to the tent. Hearing the choice of the last song he faintly wrinkled his nose but decided that again if it was going to keep them from fighting and being weird with one another then he would do it. Laughing softly along with Rosy he spins her by their linked arms just before she pulls free of him to put her hands on her hips.
Smirking he rocks back on his heels and glances around, spotting Frost yet again and a few others now in the thinned crowd.
"Looks like it..ah well it was fun while it lasted," he commented on a soft yawn, the evening of running around catching up to him. Smirking to the ghoul he reaches to take her hand and lead her to the floor, snickering softly as they went, "you realize you aren't allowed to float while we dance, I will call foul on you." Chuckling he paused once they hit the floor waiting for her to adjust before he placed his cool hands to her hips. He chuckled at the feeling of glitter under his palms knowing was going to be covered in glitter by the end of prom.

"Good." Was all he had to say to that. When he watched it play out on Critter, he had been furious. Extremely furious. How he managed to bottle up and attempt to forget it was quite the leap for him, especially since he was, as she claimed, very territorial. If she sincerely promised to not do it again, he'd believe her. Why wouldn't he?
His gaze followed hers, and he shrugged. "Well yeah, you could probably dissipate her in one serious punch. You really shouldn't let little ghouls get the better of you." Not that he was one to talk; he never followed his own advice, and first years often put him into a very, very bad mood. It might have helped that this was Prom, and he had a hard time being upset during Prom.
"Come on stupid, it's the last dance." He held his hand out for her.

Willow chuckled, "Ah I suppose not having legs often has it perks. Such as not having to walk with two feet when you're use to four." There was a nod it was at least a small relief not to have to worry about stepping on toes, though her bear feet wouldn't do much damage now.
"No, I came alone actually. Last year I did the blind date thing, I figured I might as well just show up on my own and see what fun there was." She gave a small shrug as she followed Imryn's lead. "Worse things have happened."

It may have just been nearly impossible to make Tomoko unhappy. Some people were born with that as their natural ability once in a blue moon - ability to make Tomoko unhappy.
Erebus wasn't one with that natural ability, fortunately.
She beamed as she followed along after him, squeezing his hand reassuringly before placing her other one on his shoulder, just smiling and seeming content with his forehead against hers (albeit she tilted her head to avoid that crack).
The silence didn't even bother her as they just swayed with the beat of the song. It was nice and relaxing after what felt like a really busy evening.

"How is that strange?" Mot scoffed lightheartedly, a hand coming to his chest. "You meant awesome, right?" A cheeky grin followed. Mot blushed, embarrassed he'd forgotten such a strong memory so fleetingly. "Ah.. you're right. I remember that.. To think such a thing woke you up. I don't now where that idea came from... Gosh, last year's prom was certainly chaotic." Mot looked flustered, rubbing his neck and looking down apologetically. He flushed ever more, a shy smile replacing the frown. "You did? Right then?" To think she had a crush on him for so long. It made his heat flutter. The teen smiled, nodding and standing up as Gene tugged. "Yes! One last dance for the night." The reaper pulled the ghost closely as they reached the dance floor. His long fingers interlaced with hers, once hand gently resting on the small of her back. He smiled warmly, pressing a kiss to her lips before pulling back.

Maple also hadn't expected the voice that had suddenly came upon them. Her head turned, carefully still, to spot AJ by their side and requesting a dance. The witch couldn't help but brighten her smile, hoping not to offend the igor but it had been kind of her intention to have at least one dance with her date. And it was the last song too.
"Th-thank you f-for th-the d-dance," her soft smile turned to Christof before his departure. "It.. it w-was actually.. r-really n-nice." Yes, not at all bad like her luck usually liked to veer towards. No foot stepping or horn stabbing (or any of the hundred other horrible possibilities her mind could go). Really, she found the boil very sweet. And then he was gone, seeming to mill about like how the other undead ghoul and herself had found him - sans broom.
Maple turned to AJ, a blush returning as she held out a hand.
