Mina continued to stroke his hair, waiting for his grip to loosen. Once it did, she carefully maneuvered out of his arms and grabbed her sketchbook. She decided to sketch this moment. He seemed so peaceful asleep.

Mina chuckled softly at what Damian was mumbling, making a note of it in her drawing. She then doodled a little cartoon dragon picking at wool between some teeth in the corner of the page, giggling as she did.

Mian smiled, finishing the sketch with a small signature, closing the book. She then laid another blanket over Damian before curling up on the foot of the bed, her book resting next to her as she fell asleep.

[OOC:] One Damian finds that sketch. Give him a little surprise. Then we could fast forward to when they're adults. I have a special way Hakaru will propose to Kai.

[OOC:] I was thinking I could post the skip, then Hakaru's preparations and we could pick up from there.

A few years passed and the princes grew tremendously. Hakaru had grown into a fine lad. He had unlocked his smaller fox form and a second tail. Though he was still thin, he had grown much stronger ad much more confident in himself. All thanks to a certain mermaid he ahd spend his years with. Yet he was about to take the final step with her. He had gotten his father to help him conjure up the perfect wedding ring. A sapphire ring topped with a large pearl in which he stored in a shell, holding it for the right moment.

Mina had also grown over the years. She had started getting her art out and it was becoming a sensation. Especially among Damian's fangirls since really all she did was Damian as her subject. Her shyness had died down, not blushing as much when Damian showed her affection, and they'd even made out once or twice without the little sparrow fainting.

But back with Hakaru: He had asked Kai to come to the beach at about 5. That'd give him a few hours to set up what he was going to do. He had already reserved a remote cabin next to the shore, set up a table on the beach and was cooking the dinner he'd serve Kai. But he had one final thing to do. That was all the way down the beach, around a bend. He wanted to walk her there and find a surprise.

So he walked down to the ocean, letting the waves lap at his bare feet. He pulled the clam case that held the ring, and held it, looking to the waves. "Umi-sama, Great Ocean. I ask of just one favor tonight. Please. Help me propose to the girl of my dreams. I request you hold this shell until sunset. Let it wash up to her feet. Please do this for me." he said, looking to the little clam in his hands then back at the ocean. He then made sure the clam wouldn't open and threw it into the water, hoping this worked.

[OOC:] And I'll leave if it does up to you. XD You control the merpeople/ ocean anyways. XDD

Hakaru smiled as the sea seemed to accept his request. He quickly went back to the little resort he had prepared, making sure the food was ready, some candles were lit, and all aligned to look at the rising moon. He then rushed back to where he promised to meet Kai, knowing she'd be there soon. But before she came, he quickly bowed respectfully to the ocean, thanking it for its blessing. He then turned, using his magic to summon a bouquet of flowers, and waited.

Mina was just finishing a painting of her most popular subject, but this one wasn't going to market. She was going to keep this one. It had Damian napping on a bench, a songbird perched on his forehead. Truthfully, that's what was happening. She looked out the window, finding the painting in real life. The songbird singing to the sleeping prince. It was so adorable.

Hakaru smiled brightly, kissing her cheek and offering her the flowers. "Evening, Kai-chan." he said. "I got these for you." he added, motioning to the nice gorgeous flowers he had conjured.

Mina soon finished the painting, signing it. She then left it to dry as she went outside and sat next to Damian, shaking him. "Damian. Damian wake up."
