I had 3 buckets of leggos, and I contructed mechs of my own desing to wage war upon the kids with the lego 'sets' after building fortresses of my own design. I even would plan out events in short stories by setting the scenes with lego figures and playing and then writing it down.

I hated legos my favorite pass time was taking my parent sruff and breaking it apart to see how it worked, and I still do that sometime, I'll buy a used toaster and dismantle for the fun of it!
