Cedric shrugged, but since Fin was extremely sincere in his intent he thought that he might as well introduce them. He walked back to the pair, and leaned against the wall. "She can spare a minute for you two." He pointed behind him, "The door just over there."
Fin bowed his head, and took Leaf's hand again and walked to the indicated place. "Greetings, Lady Oracle. I am Glorfindel Hallowedleaves. My friend and I have decided that we do not like living in the underdark, and are willing to do what ever is necessary to revive the surface. Can you help us?" The use of his full name was odd, nor had he had spoken it in over two decades, but alas he felt it wa appropriate.

Leaf simply followed, because it seemed that she had no choice what with the hand taking and all. Thoughts of running home evaporated. She did not announce herself as Fin did, and for a moment she tohught he had used a fake name. She felt no need to assume that she was important enough for the Oracle to know her name.
Meilikki looked up from her paper, a quill in one hand, looking for something or other on that paper of hers. "Indeed." She gave the two a hard look, and indicated the seats in front of her. "I have a very many people wishing to speak with me, you two are luckey in that you have captured my interest." She set her things aside, folded her hands in her lap.
"I can help you. But only part way. The largest jobs have already been filled.""

Fin gracefully moved the duet to the indicated seats, and sat. He looked into the Oracle's orbs and smiled. "If we need to sweep the floors of some mysterious temple, and not draw our swords and knives, I woud be very content if that brought back the land of our ancestors." He smiled, and held Leaf's hand slightly tighter. "What can we do?"

Leaf looked down at the hand again, and thought that perhaps she should stop looking at it. So she did, and replied with a nervouse sqeeze. She was getting excited, but didn't want to show it.
Meilikki smiled pleasantly at the two. Elves were easy to work with most of the time, she enjoyed getting to the point without too many pleasantires when buisness was before her. "In order to set the surface in order, certain elemental keys need to be activated. These keys need to be prepared. I need five samples of pure element. Fire, water, earth, wind, and ether. You can only find such pure things in the five elemental temples."
"If you wish, go to the temples and collect these samples for me." She waved a hand. "The only problem is that I don't know where the temples are."

Fin shoot up from his seat suddenly, with a very large grin. Of course, he did not let go of Leaf's hand. "So we need to find the five elemental temples that house the pure elements. We will find these temples, and we shall retrieve pure elements withoug fail." He smiled and bowed, "If you have no further advice, we should like to complete this task presently. All my ancestors have wished to live where the Leaves are Hallow, and I do not wish to allow my decendants to dwell beneath the rocks longer than they need be."

With a jerk and a grunt, she was pulled up on her feet as well. She blinked at Fin's enthusias and deemed herself lack luster next to him. She bowed along with the excited elf, stated simply "Thank you for this opportunity," in that emotionless (although at the moment shakey) voice of hers.
Meilikki smiled and chuckled. "All I can say is watch your feet, the temples are dangerous." She waved to the door, as much as she would have liked to chat, she was busy. "Find something to eat in the kitchens before you leave." Sometihng she offered anyone who came to her.

"I ate two days ago, I'm fine." Fin replied. "You hungry?" He asked Leaf with the same viggor he had the moment the Oracle bequethed the quest.
"Thank you for this oppertunity. We shall prevail in this endevour. I do not know how long it will take, but we will not waste time. Well, unless there are some perticularly nice roses to smell." He smiled softly, bowed , and lead Leaf to the kitchen after giveing her an oppertunity to say her piece.
"I know who can help us find the locations of these temples, and someone else who will be able to help us get there." The elf smiled, "Please eat if you are hungry, then we shall make hast to Deep Water." He paused for amoment, "I will be right back." He left Leaf near the food, and came back a moment later. "I had to thank the elf who got us into the office. Full?" He asked urgently, "We can't travel far if we are too hungry." He smiled, it would be a fun trip indeed.

Fin ushered her around and didn't give mer much time to even think about what they were about to do. He left her with the food, where she took some bread and cheese that was offered and ate it before he returned from thanking the elf.
She nodded. "You already know someone who can guide us?" That was fast...Fin seemed to be a fast kind of guy.

"Bards know everything, and he is a bard. Mysterious hidden Temples would be a perticular interest of his, as are all things obscure. In the very least, he could point us in the right direction and all we need do is walk in a straight line." Fin smiled, "Ah, you have eaten. Then let us be on our way." Fin took Leaf's hand. "Glorfindel Hallowedleaves is my full name. Fin is short for Glorfindel." He smiled, "We have lots of time to get to know each other, so let us walk and talk. The ports to Deep Water are not too far from here." The lights of Deep Water could be seen from the entrance to Meilikki's Manor. "We shall probably be away for some time, I am sorry I dragged you into this. What am I saying, I am glade that I dragged you into this. Now I can make sure you don't die. I would be very upset if I got to see the surface and you did not." He smiled. While he spoke, they had traverses some distance, but not from magical means. Just walking.

"I just don't want it to hatch and me not be there. It would feel all alone and no one wants to feel all alone." Giving a nod and then a laugh swatting at her hands as she chucked him. She enjoyed doing that oh so much. He usually poked her in retliation...like now. Poke. "If mommy and daddy say it's okay. Last time I asked for a pet they said I was too little. Then again mommy says I'm too little a lot. Daddy doesn't think so as much." At least that was his understanding.
"I guess that makes sense. But I don't need a turn, the fun is all yours this time." Giving a chuckle as the child repremanded him. Well at least he seemed to be in a better mood than before. "Sorry, I won't move." Thus watching his son finish up. "Well, Piper would go pink, but Zahara wouldn't. You have to have skin that's not as dark as ours...and sometimes they don't always blush pink, but other colors too." A slight smile...he sone was a flatterer.
He gave a purr and a chitter, wriggling around as she pet at him and touseled his fur, he would just lick it back into place later. Eventually taking to affectionately gnawing on her fingers in that way he often did, making those little noises of his and being an all around attention whore.
"Hm, I guess it's all about how you exist in your enviroment." After all, Isle still technically lived with her parents. Sure it was in a palace but anyone could tell you she spent time outside that thing than in it. But she did give a smile, oh yes she still had it and knew how to use it to her utmost advantage. "You know you're awful...hesitant and overthinking in what you say, for an elf." She was also blunt, wasn't she? But a dismissive wave of her hand. "I'm also a ranger, I don't need anyone after the initial first time." She was as most elves, a prideful creature, which also dictated her next response. "I'll walk." Because Isle didn't ride behind anybody, she was no second seat girl.

Malik was about to try and gut Cedric when he vanished...then a small growl...then he sat down in his chair.
"I should have killed the Purians when the opportunity presented itself. and Jiscal."
Rubbing his temples and leaning back.
"Undead are far more dangerous than Cedric gives them credit. So many of these people seem to think a cleric or a mage and just destroy them without a second thought. maybe I should prove them wrong."
Onyx snuck into her room, left her candied apples, and then went back to his little lair to brood and be by himself for a time.
The necromancers led this guest down the basement area, before giving the request for malik to come down there to meet with the undead thing. wether or not malik woudl respond of course was up to him.

"Do remember dear, your son." That was all she ever said these days about his little warmonger tendecies. Though she was busy reading through her letter then. Giving a sigh she turned her eyes to him and gave him a little smile, reaching over and brushing the back of her hand over his cheek. "On another note, Meilikki's invited me for a visit. Didn't you have some sort of business in Honorsfield anyway?"

The elf nodded lightly at Isle's comment as he watched her with his one eye, she may seem sweet but there was more to her than meets...well his eye, that's the impression that Arthur has been getting lately and he didn't know if it was good for him or it would just confuse him in the end. Though when he was going to say something to object her saying of him always being hesitant he just got a wave of her hand and that was the end of that discussion. "I'm not hesitant..." He said with a gruffness in his tone as he crossed his arms, that comment wounded him a little but he would recover none the less. "Well that's good to hear, that means you've learned a lot of good skills while being trained to become one." Well Arthur has met maybe a few rangers during his lifetime so far, excluding Isle, and they are pretty good people, they know how to get by and they can easily maneuver through any area without that much to worry about, they are good trackers, hunters and are skilled in combat. "You sure? Alright then your choice." Hey if she wanted to walk then Arthur wouldn't force the idea of taking Brahnel, when he comes back to Twilight to drop Isle off is when he'll stop by to see his stallion, hopefully he'll have enough time to take him for a ride. Looking around carefully Arthur surveyed the area until he knew which way to go. "Alright follow me Lady Rainsong." He said with a chuckle and with that he took off walking, hopefully they would make it to his home quickly so they wouldn't waste any time.

She waved a hand dismissively at him and started walking, not really following him but more of his general direction. Why was she going with him? Well the opportunity to explore of course, and there probably wasn't much more to it, maybe show off some via musical skills or something. And of course she had a link crystal in her pocket should she need to be reached quickly. Why? Well she really didn't have anyone else to drag around the underdark with her, after all Piper was a mother now and couldn't be as careless as they usually were together. "It is not hard to be a ranger. Comes naturally." But a shake of her head at his mentioning on her being a ranger...she would be far more flattered if her being a bard was more praised upon, but she let things go easily.
"You're going to walk?" She didn't see the point to that really. After all, if he wanted to ride, then why didn't he just ride? Silly little elf indeed, she couldn't quite pin on him what was the difference in him. Perhaps it was these human things he kept mentioning, not that she could relate or really comprehend such things without them being fully explained.
