She looked out of the corner of her eye for a moment, thinking without looking at Fin. "What could we possibly do? The council has strived for years beyond years to find such a solution." And yet is was intriging. If she could get to the surface, she could let go of all these names she held onto.

"What if the solution is not in magic?" Fin said with a rather odd prophetic voice, "But lay in action... Druidic spells and crafts have proven ineffective, but maybe there is some key to unlocking the tunnels... IF only we had some kind of Oracle to guide us towards an end..."

She chuckled and nodded, "Yes Malikhai, babies need to be hugged and so do little boys, like you." Giving him a big hug. "But you can do that once he or she has hatched. If you pick the egg up and move it too much the baby gets shaken up inside there and might get hurt and we wouldn't want that at all, now would we?"
He got a smile and a pet to his hair. "I talked to mine all the time. He knew everything there was to know about the world before he was born and you know what? When he hatched, he came straight to me the first time he heard my voice because he knew it. Just like you knew your parent's voices when you first popped out because they talked to you." she gave that one a moment of thought, tapping her finger against her lips the way she'd seen some of the other adults do. "Well, we'll just be really careful not to have one, won't we?"
He dipped the brush in teh bowl again, feeling like a pro by now. After all he'd done this a few other times in the last few minutes. Carefully painting the spot his father had picked out for him he pushed his own hair behind his shoulder. "Can we do mine next?" Then as he was painting the pink reminded him of something else. "Daddy how come girls cheeks turn colors when you tell them they're pretty?"
She glanced down at teh weight now pressing down on her leg and smiled softly. "Hello Nym, are the boys too busy to give you some attention?" Reaching out she lightly scratchd the ferret under his chin and around his ears and then went to dig in her skirt pocket for jerky before she realized she wasn't wearing it. "Sorry fuzzball, I dont' have any treats on me right now."

She rubbed at her amr, thinking it over. As much as she wanted to, she didn't want to leave the peninsula. She felt like she wasn't well recieved outside of her..proper (as it were) place.
She paused, lifted an eyebrow. Okay, she'd play along. "One lives in Honoursfeild."

"Ok, to Honoursfield." Fin grabed Leaf's wrist, and started running towards the neighbouring nation. "Simple running is too slow." He held out his hand, which became encased in a white light, and tosed the energy at his feet. This caused his speed to multiply. Leaf's feet seemed unable to keep up, and evetually she was 'flying' behind Fin.
The river appeared before them, and then disappeared. Ripples brock the surface tention where Fin's feet landed. Soon, they reached a road, and Fin slowed to a normal pace. "Now you don't have a choice but to follow me." He smiled, "No one will hold you accountable if I kidnapped you, Everyone wants me dead anyways."

It was pretty hard to keep the surprise off her face when Leaf was forcibly taken off of the Peninsula. She couldn't say she enjoyed the senstation of being pulled along like that.
She slammed into Fin's back when he stopped as she was quite suceptible to the properties of enersia. She rubbed at her nose and cheek. "Have you always been able to do such things?"

She looked back to him as he has chuckled and then a tilt of her head at Galesen. "I hadn't talked to them about it...seems we came at a rather busy time of the...day..." She guessed it was day. Wow, Kieran was right when he said her sense of time would be screwed up. A blink. "Oh, so you don't live here then?" A gesture to the fortress before her attention turned fully to him and she somewhat gave him that look again, but with some amusement to his actions. "Oh you just want me around so you can hear me play, is that it? I suppose I can be up for that...besides I planned to do some exploring, but a guide would be nice too. Can start with you." A little shrug. "Though do remember I have to be able to stay in touch with Lharika...least Kieran berate me." Which meant she may not stay all night...or whatever it was...but she'd spend some time with him.
"Like when daddy wouldn't let mommy ride the horses anymore because it would shake me up." What? He was elven, he didn't need the whole 'where do babies come from' fuss, he more or less knew. But he gave a nod to her then and rocked lightly on his toes. Malikhai looked skeptical though. "You can't not have an accident, that's why they're called accidents."
Sevilin gave another chuckle. "But your hair is bone white, why would we need to do your hair?" Keeping his tone light for the child while inquiring about such things. Of course Sevilin tilted his head lightly at the new question and it took him a moment to process what was being said and what he meant. "You mean when they blush? That's...how they show that...they appriciate what you're saying...when you, compliment them..." That was hard to explain for Sevilin.
They have th bleach out. Chitter. Before a purr at her scratching and then shaking his fur out when she stopped. Oh that's alright you can just scratch my tummy, thusly flopping off her leg and into the space in front of her, on his back and belly up, wriggling some to get hsi point across.

"No." He answered honestly, "It comes and goes, but it feels... clean." He shrugged. "Where should we start out search? We could ask a local... but we might look out of place. Perhaps we should get disguises and hold an alibi. It would be in poor form to get Puria into trouble because we want to save the world."

Clean...okay. No further questions.
She had to spoil what she figured was fun, since Fin sounded so excited. "She lives in that big building there." Leaf pointed.

"Wow, that was easy." He smiled and turned to face Leaf. "I guess we will not have to pretend to be travelling circus performers hoping to find a loving community to settle into and raise children. How convient. Let us go and see if we can aquire any information." Fin smiled and grabbed Leaf's hand again, but this time he only walked.

"Right, just like that. Shaking isn't good for babies, they're fragile." He was really worried about this wasn't he? "Well Daddy Kieran always says the best way to guard against accidents is to take the proper precautions. I think that means if you don't pick it up too much and you leave it tucked away nice and safe then it can't fall off a table or get dropped. But if something does happen to it, we'll get you another one." Chucking him lightly under the chin she giggled, "You're going to get your draithix Malikhai, don't worry."
He shrugged, "So you could have a turn too." Anything that was fun grown ups always wanted to do too so why not let Daddy do his after he did Daddy's? It made sense to him anyway. But the minute he tilted his head, the boy protested "Daddy, stay still! I can't paint straight if you're moving your head around like that." Carefully painting the last strands of pink out of Daddy's hair. "If I said it to Zara and Miss Piper they would go pink too? I think I'm going to try it."
She chuckled softly and used her knuckles to scratch at his belly. A belly up ferret always meant petting needed to be involved if not then, not more than five seconds later. Indulging the ferret had never been a hardship, she always gave him an overabundance of affection that included treats, pieces of meat when she was cooking, socks, old jewelry and lots and lots of petting. "Well you can keep me company as long as you like."

Leaf looked down at his hand holding hers, starred at it while he walked her up to the building she had indicated. She didn't remove it, although she thought maybe she should.
They approached teh doorway and found that anyone was allowed in. But not just annyone could see the Oracle, they had to have been expected or a perminant residance to do that. "Well then, how do we get in to see her?"

Arthur shook his head lightly when Isle mentioned the part of him not living at Twilight. "Yeah I moved out a couple of years back, need a place for myself you know? Didn't like the living space I was given." That was a fact, Arthur didn't mind living in the fortress but he loved living on his own, in a place where he was the one in control and had a better comfort zone than living back with Malik. Though he blushed a little at Isle's next comment and sighed, he had to watch what he would say around this elf, she's always twisting his words and whatnot to get the best reactions for her own amusement. "Well I-" He sighed a little in frustration and paused for a moment. "I would like to have your company, a woman such as you I would be delighted to invite over to my home. Though being your guide? I may not know that much of the area but I can take you to a few places I have been too, Zahara or Piper can help you with the rest." This elf was driving Arthur up the wall, her tiny hints that may offer him something more though she acts all innocent about it as if she doesn't have a clue to what she is saying, yup she was slowly getting to him. "That's not a problem Isle, when ever you need to get back just tell me and I'll take you here..." Though he paused for a moment to look back in the direction of the stables. "Do you mind riding my horse Brahnel to my home? I promised him to take him out." He did say that and the one thing Arthur did not want to do was upset his stallion already.

"Hmmm..." He vocalized his guesture, and looked about the entrance way. He temporarily released Leaf's hand, and held his chin, his eyes darted about the room, and ended looking outside, "If only we knew someone who lived here... Or maybe we can bequeth a request... Excuse me?" Fin tugged on the shoulder of someone wearing a long red coat.
"Yes," Cedric replied, "How can I help you?"
"Uh, my friend and I have travelled far to bequeeth the oracle, because we no longer want to live in the underdark. Do you know how we might be able to have a fraction of her time to see if she knows how we might be of assistance to the restoration of the surfaceworld."
Cedric looked blankly at the elf, "I'll see what I can do." He looked about the hall, before walking to where he thought the Oracle was.
Fin smiled, "I think we will be fine."

"That elf has an odd gait." Stated without curiosity, and hardly a statment. She said nothing as the two had conversed and had nothing to say afterwords. She had her head turned to one side, thinking about the Peninsula and whether or not she should make a run for it and try to get back.
Melikki was looking over an important looking document when Cedric interupted her and informed her of two elves that saught her audience. She rubbed at her neck a moment, and agreed.
