::Tyrsais had left the Tower after a short period of time after figuring out that his access to any sensitive locations wouldn't be permitted. Clearly that would not change for now or anytime in the near future unless he was able to take an increased roll in ensuring that this place ran smoothly and that attacks like it had suffered were prevented. He had returned to his lair within the Citadel and schduled a easy to follow routine that was accompanied by alerts to keep him on it. He would spend a decent bit of his day in activities he hadn't ever done before, patroling. He would twice leave the inside of the barrier once around 4:00 AM and another time at 9:00 PM to take a walk around the premises to make sure that no fleets or opponents were waiting on the outside. This might turn out to be his most interesting course of events as he would take his first patrol now after watching the others around him doing similar. This first stroll outside would be maybe an only chance for those now waiting outside to have contact with anyone on the inside. Tyrsais for the moment was in the open, maybe his first sighting in months::

Entry 1... Exiting Citadel Barrier... It's still early the sunlight is not out yet. It's a strange thing not to be inside anymore though the air seems oddly the same. Nothing of note yet... I'll continue this recording if anything happens.

::He would click the option on his PDA to stop the recording for now and begin the patrol. It was a simple circle outside the barrier scanning its perimeter for anything of note. What he would see was yet to be known.::

*It probably wasn't an unfamiliar sight to see the children running about outside again. They seemed most interested in the number of droids, never having seen so many of them before. Needless to say, after the first few days they weren't worried about them, probably in part to Proto. This was the world they were to grow up in, technology... it was to them an ally, and aid. At times servants, and other times-- perhaps even friend, if that were programmed into their systems. The children would more or less leave the droids to their work, playing and watching ever so often. Eecheb had been running about in the south a lot over the past few days, and Trilla had been dragging Micha about in the north west. Eecheb was fine on his own, but Trilla... to avoid situations of being alone with Tyrsais whom she still had problems with, she was sticking close to Micha. Tyrsais wanted a word with the boy aswell, but likely when Trilla wasn't with him. Also that man still wanted a word with Nana aswell, and what ever interests he had in Eecheb would probably continue on in private. Nana... once she was feeling better, would have to rehabilitate her wings after all of this... it was something she had yet to do. Then after that.... it was high time the children learned to fly aswell. Their wings were developed quite well now and with a few practices under the watchful eyes of Nana, Mastema, and anyone eles who cared, they'd be able to take flight. That would make getting around the citadel easier and faster for sure, but there was also a danger factor like with all things. It would all happen in time, hopefully a short period of time at that*

Slowly, Yuri's eyes seemed to focus on a figure walking around the outside of the barrier. It was, unknonst to him, Tyrsais on patrol, moving towards him at this very moment. Yuri blinked slowly, as though trying to convince himself that the sight was, in fact, real. He lay with his back against the barrier, limbs spread uselessly in front of him as he sat there, only held up by the wall. Not knowing what else to do he had lain there for what had seemed like an eternity, but had in reality only been a week. He didn't know what his plan had been, perhaps simply to wait for death. But seeing this figure walking along, his dreary eyes were slowly beginning to refocus as he struggled. His mouth opened, as though to call out, but no noise came from it. He had had nothing to drink or eat for over a week and was on the breaking point, unable to even speak. Still he tried, though he wasn't sure why, calling out to the man silently, asking for, what was it he wanted, help? Yes, help. He didn't want to be alone anymore. It hurt... "H-....hey......." he coughed out, his body convulsing from the sudden effort, even though the call was barely a whisper. Yuri let out a weak cough before collapsing back again, the last of his strength deserting him as his eyes struggled to follow the man on patrol.....

"Round up your b***h and the litter, the walls fall and the battering begins." He commented idly, though he knew not particularly why. He just had a feeling that things were a bit different, that soon he'd see the day he'd been waiting and preparing for. In truth he'd tackle the challenge with only a margin of the forces he'd had in the past, but he was still confident. The Tegral class drones had been rolling off the production line in excess, their plasma and sonic cannons adapted and fitted for high strain. The programming had also been updated, allowing each unit a wider array of possibilities with their meager weaponry.

And there were of course the remaining BG41's which had been smuggled out of their caretaker's hands by use of name alone. It seemed despite having been reduced to humanity, the very name KB held some measure of intimidation across many realms. So far, 3 had been retrieved, the others still being repaired or stolen away by their makers. It hardly mattered, three would suffice to barrage the selected areas of the Citadel, whilst their upgrades would keep them covered. An excess of the standard assault droids was also noted, their minor program holes having been patched up or ignored. Free will was hardly a concern for the positions they'd be placed in, as they'd fight or die anyhow.

There were of course the ladies, though their assault specifications remained unknown. Their actual chances at field testing remained unseen, but they seemed to compliment the Tegral unit quite nicely. The remnants of KB had no doubt that they would excel both on and off the battlefield.

There were of course other minor developements, such as the Growlers and other soldiers. Tegral's adaptation of a time/space burrowing nuclear weapon had been touchy, but served as a good base for a growing industry. A weapon that seemed to be able to hit through nearly any level of base defense was seen as quite valuable, though the actual use of it waited to be seen. Vampires in the battle wouldn't tend to be much of a big issue, as KB still had his old virus and it's updates. He would if need be employ it on any afflicted who met the battlefield, though he wanted to see it work on other humanoids. 'The Weapon' had been implemented into the virus' core design, allowing greater colonization.

Perhaps it would serve to combat Mastema's cells, though he'd need a small batch of them to test for sure. The sludgelike makeup of Mastema was amusing and KB couldn't tell if it were biological or more base elemental. In due time he'd have a chance to test the effectiveness of a number of his weapons and toys, as well as properly trained professionals.

First and foremost however, his mission was to tear up the landscape around and inside the Citadel. He would rend their 'home' to pieces, and he would make it forever inhospitable. The children would grow up in a fetid pile of rot and destruction. Killing them was a minor objective.

::Tyrsais didn't take long to notice the boy whom was slumped against the barrier however it should be made clear that he was in no hurry to get to him either. He continue to move along at his same walking pace reaching down into his coat pulling out his PDA which had been returned to his pocket moments earlier. It seemed he had something to add to his notes::

Addendum 1 to entry... I've encounted a humanoid child shortly outside of the Citadel. He appears to be using the barrier for support and has been likely injured...

::With that note he would stop the entry returning the PDA to its former location again. He would approach casually stopping a few yards from the boy taking another look at the surroundings. Nothing else seemed out of place so he looked directly down at the boy doing his best not to let him see the vampiric fangs just yet::

You appear injured young man and you are a great distance from anywhere you could call home. Have you been attacked?
PostPosted: Mon Jul 17, 2006 9:08 pm

Yuri looked up at the man in a daze, blinking slowly as he seemed to process this. His mouth opened several times, yet no noise would come from it, no matter how hard the boy seemed to try. Finally, after several minutes of effort the boy slumped and looked up at the man wearily. Yet, his eyes seemed to have taken on a strange light as he lay there. I wish I could tell you.... came the boy's voice, though he seemed too out of it to be aware of it himself. But I don't... even know myself....... I found myself in the forest here..... in this state..... I came here.... I don't know why..... I don't.... know...... The voice faded then, leaving the boy gasping, his eyes becoming duller than before. Whatever had just happened, it had strained his already breaking limits. He was on the verge of losing himself.....

::Tyrsais would only chuckle slightly bending down slightly to inspect the young person. He would look for signs of battle or damage to him anything obvious. However barring those obvious signs less visible damage would have to be the cause. He would rest his hand on his sword hilt speaking softly while reaching out with his other hand to touch the boy's face::

Well now... you shouldn't worry yourself so much about little details. You aren't doing so well and that much is clear to both of us. I can help you avoid your final moments but unless you wish it I cannot aid you.

::His voice was calm and intentionally soothing alluding that he had a solution so foolproof that it gave him this serenity when claiming so much. He would only give a slight smile revealing his fangs. A flash of red would be seen in his eyes as well but if Yuri were not careful he might miss it::

Yuri, too weak to notice much of anything in hsi state, was oblivious to the changes in the man's eyes and face, only able to understand that this man would help him at this point. Unable to muster the strength to speak and his energy too far gone to use his power again, the boy merely nodded slowly in agreement. It didn't matter at this point. This man said he could save him. He would ask for nothing more.....

::Tyrsais would pull the boy to him holding him in a hug-like embrace for a second brushing his hair back with a hand to console him of any fear. The vampire's eyes would turn a dark red and his fangs would extend out a few inches becoming ready for the ritual. Time was no longer an issue for both Yuri and Tyr would soon share in defying it.::

What I give you now is a way to defeat death... I must first release you from the bonds that have constrained you to this world. You will become an outcast from the normal and a hunter of the weak. You are to become my dark brother, a god among mortals, all you must do now.... is die.

::Upon the brief and somewhat dramatic speech Tyrsais would pull Yuri to him with an inhuman strength forcing his fangs with a bite into the boys neck. After a few moments of drinking the fresh blood he would allow him to fall back in his grasp or struggle if he wished and simply hold on to him loosely::
PostPosted: Mon Jul 17, 2006 10:04 pm

Yuri made no move against the man as he felt himself being embraced. And as the fnags enetered his neck he didn't struggle, didn't move, he hardly even breathed. He was too far gone to be able to resist even if he wanted to, and in his current state he could find no reason for himself to struggle. As the man's grip loosened he fell limply into the man's arms, not possessing the strength to do otherwise. He stared blankly up at the man and the sky, waiting.... for something.......

::Tyr would hold the limp man for a few seconds before hefting him up over his shoulder. Soon Demir would begin to feel a warm sensation coming over him something beckoning him to close his eyes only for a second. He could resist it for now but soon he would have no choice but to embrace that feeling. Tyr would move up the barrier placing his hand against it speaking clearly::

Zio... inform Lord Mastema I have turned a young man... I need to take him inside the Citadel and ensure that he is correctly maintained in his weakened state...

::He would wait patiently for a response it wouldn't be wise to tempt Mastema to kill him so soon after causing quite a disturbance inside his home. For now Demir and Tyr were both not going inside the barrier until permission had been given.::
PostPosted: Tue Jul 18, 2006 4:43 pm

"Himura... you had better keep your pet on a leash." Mastema's telepathic voice would come quite clearly. It was said more matter of factly than threateningly. After that, the normal barrier door would open. Because Demir had come with Tyrsais, none of the droids bothered to interfere with him.

Thanatos, for the first time in nearly a day, emerged from his room and made his way down in the elevator. He knew exactly where he wanted to go right now.

Mastema was presently sitting up in his bed, Nana still laying at his side, and looking at multiple holographic screens. Zio's sensors were picking up the most unusual sound, and it didn't seem natural. Mastema made sure Zio filtered it out for now until he could determine what it would do.

Yuri watched blearily as the man spoke to the strange wall and watched the wall open up moments later, leaving them a clear path within. Yuri looked up at the strange entranceway which had formed, completely oblivious to what was happening around him. He wanted to see what lay within the strange wall he had leaned against for more than a week, almost curious despite his deteriorating condition. Yet he found himself unable to escape the sweet embrace of sleep as he lay on the man’s shoulder, the last of his conscious strength finally giving out. He fell limp on the man’s shoulder, eyes shutting tiredly as he gave into a dark, dreamless sleep.....

::Tyrsais would look up directly at the tower as he took the first few steps breaching the threshold that separated the outside world from the carefully controlled Citadel. He would focus for a moment sending a response to his master in a oddly humble tone::

I'll not make a mockery of myself again my lord...

::He would with that through make his way through the complex maze of a city moving past destroyed buildings and ones which time had been kind too alike. The cityscape they were in was in stark contrast because of the well kept portions as well as the impressive towers on the outskirts and center. He would walk down a main road which at one time probably split the city in two but now only lead toward the central tower. After quite a few minutes he would turn right heading east now toward his lair. A building which was at one time two warehouses which had been combined with the air of magic into what large Mansion for the vampire. Two giant grey metal doors would be the entrance through which they would go into their new home together. The main floor lay out in front of them with two staircases one on the right leading down and one on the far right leading up, the only other things of note were the large foyer on this level and the kitchen in the back. There was a lab, armory, and small holding cell downstairs which was oddly not their destination just yet. No it was upstairs to where Tyr and his new fledge would spend their first time together. He would walk into his office passing by his computer and desk into this bedroom, where he would lay down Yuri on the bed for now. He would begin assembling a host of syringes and some sort of strange tonic. He wouldn't for now pay much attention to the boy whom would be turning at any moment::

Lets see... so much to do with you now... where did I put those tools?

Yuri was not aware of his passage into the strange mansion or up into the man's bedroom. Yet he did notice his body falling into something soft and confortable and laying there, as though supported by something. Reacting to the change he mumbled slightly, his body twitching slightly before relaxing again, the boy not yet having woken up. It was as though he could not yet awaken....
