kool ken I haven't tried absinthe or Jager yet. I need to get out of the house moar blaugh
Well, it is technically illegal to sell the Green Faerie in the United States because of the chemical in traditional absinthe called Thujone, a substance banned in food products by the FDA. Any distillations that are "Thujone Free" can be sold, although a purist might argue that these concoctions are not truly absinthe due to their lack of wormwood, which is usually used during the production process. mrgreen

Tried Jager - didn't care for it... haven't tried the real absinthe.. I don't know... I'm kinda boring. Give me a glass of good beer or wine and I'm happy. Mostly I drink tea or plain old water lol If I want to get fancy I love the frozen or ice cream drinks like strawberry margaritas or a grasshopper!

right now all I have is two bottles of Cruzan Rum in the fridge one Coconut and one Raspberry..my sister is killing it gonk she adds water to it!! water!! she ruins the taste..with rum like that you add it to juice not water..I cry for the rum crying
I've never heard of Jager of absinthe...I had my first drink when I was 18 at my cousins party..course if you want to get technical my first drink was when I was 12 or 13 I took my father's glass but I thought it was water...yea water don't taste like that xd

I have some Sage oil that is 30% Thujone!
Of course, I don't drink it, but I do use it in cooking and topically.

Jager taste like liquorish and is really good with red bull! aka a JAGER BOMB mmmmmm lambs love of drinks..
Its a taste you gotta get use to really.. at first I hated it.. 2 shots later... I was in heaven smile
Ok so now I am curious.. for those of us who do drink.. What kinda drunk are you when you get drunk? Rude, crazy, friendly or its totally random?
As for me.. the more I drink.. the friendlier I get! I will talk to anyone.. even if I hated them... I will talk to them when drunk lol.

hmmm....from what I've heard I laugh a lot an get crazy..nothing bad just a little dancing on the table and watching the ground like it won't stand still lol

I'm one of those friendly chatty types but I change usually only little. Most of the time people don't even know I'm drunk since I act pretty much the same. xd But that is of course because I usually make sure I stay clear enough to realize what's going on around me. I rarely drink my self really, really drunk.
Lately I've been skipping the alcohol all together because it just gives me a headache on the next day and it costs way too much. I rather spend my money on something more fun like notebooks... which I have way too many. I'm a notebookholic. When I see a pretty one I just got to buy it even though I don't need it. rofl

I some times get an headache after a bar night even if I haven't had a single drink that has alcohol in it. sweatdrop

I actually had a hangover when I woke up today, but that was mostly my fault. Not only did I not drink anything else to hydrate myself besides the pitcher of Mudslides I drank last night, but I also have only had about 3 hours of sleep since mid afternoon on Monday. Considering the day I had yesterday, though, the headache was worth it. Those are pretty constant nowadays anyway. The only major difference is this one felt like someone was poking my brain with an ice pick in the middle of my forehead. sweatdrop
