Schi,
I don't change it the way I see fit. I am changing the rules back to what they used to be. While I have taken breaks over the years, people have altered things that previously were 'implied' instead of being in the rules. So I just added the wording so we could get back on the original track that we were on. This was discussed with Drago before any of it was done.
Also, if you've got a problem take it up in private message. Don't use the OOC board as your complaining grounds. I've been a Mod for 6 yrs, disappeared for a few, but still. Only people who have a technical say so over me would be Ryo or Drago. Plus, I have pointed out all of this in the Mod OOC before I did it. If no one says they ahve issue I do it. Its their own fault for not speaking up.
Lastly disrespect towards mods will not be tolerated. Call me a douchebag all you want over Private messages or on xbox live. Don't do it within the guild.

Damian,
As much as I respect you for modding over 6 years that's not a good excuse for being able to strip away clan ability's and village powers. Complaining really? should we take the time now to discuss what the OOC is for? Or stay on tract and discuss what you've been doing, hm?
You've been here a long time...maybe even too long? Your getting old Damian, old rusty and senile. Much to old for my blood. I cant wait to watch you get replaced one day.

Schi,
It was brought up for discussion to the mods in the Mod discussion forum. No one said they disliked the idea. So, I went forth with it. That is how Mods work. However, in regards to the rules. That is my job as a Mod. I'm not the Mod over made ups, I'm not the Mod over anything cept Updating the Guild and Disciplinary Actions. That means, rules are my job. So until Drago comes down and says, "Damian you are no longer the one who makes the rules around here" I'll continue to do what I've been doing for 6 plus years.
Also, I won't get replaced. I do more then most of the mods when I'm here, thus it won't happen. -shrug- Live with it or get over it. Quit your bitchin'.

I accept your challenge and I will "live with it." My right to b***h on the other hand isn't being expressed to anyone at this time so that's not the problem. But if you see it that way wouldn't you have done the same "bitching" when starting to bring the guild "back to life' or how ever you tried to glorify your art of displeasure? I guess I'll end my own disparagement here. But, I would appreciate it if you went slower on updates. I know your probably bored at home having nothing to do (get a job hippie!) But i'll be happy to end your boredom and RP with you when ever you want.

Well Dylan,
I know there are a few of the updates that you will dislike. I dislike the fact that I had to do them cause they restrict my play as well, but there are rules that have been 'looped' around. So I fixed that so that the RPing atmosphere is fair to everyone from Academy Student to Kage. There will be more changes coming soon as I finish the Handbook that give benefits were I restricted things prior. Getting Demons, Special Abilities and Items will be alot easier for members and less cumbersome on Mods. Right now everyone is seeing the negative side of the updates, because the restrictions come before the benefits. I understand that you know not to bring these things into the OOC, but as your friend I'm giving him a tad bit of leniency. You are most likely talking to him on xbox live right now, so explain to him that if he continues that he will be suspended, then if he continues after that he will be banned. I do not like banning individuals, but I have done it in the past.
If he has something he'd like to bring up to the Mod panel then he can submit it the correct way and have it voted upon by all of the Mods. If it is deemed a valid concern then we will work towards remedying it, but I will not take being spoken to like that by a member. These changes benefit everyone and restrict everyone. I just gave up a 200k+ character to show how serious I am about fixing this guild. Again, this isn't directed at you, just the first part.

The rest of the updates are to give back towards the members. The restrictions are just to make everything more competitive. The restrictions make it to where everyone has a weakness instead of being overpowered and invincible. Alot of the newer members we've had in the past have complained that they won't go into battles because they are afraid that the 'super powers' in the guild will come kill them. I restrict the super powers by making clans that are deemed over powered less powerful. Then I open it up for everyone, allow everyone to do as they please. Lastly, after this gets done, people will be able to challenge Mods for open items, abilities and or demons. The Missions subforum will be utilized so that people will get things more often. People won't be able to have more then one demon or special ability across multiple characters. This means EVERYONE gets something, not just certain people. Items will have no restriction as we have WAY too many. You'll get a benefit out of the changes, so quit acting like its horrible. The main things were that I restricted Combining clans. That means, I restricted myself too. =/ I don't see you giving up your main character who is one of the top four in the guild so that you can make the Guild a better rping environment for everyone. Until you give a positive way of going about things instead of complaining about things without suggesting a resolution, don't speak about it anymore. This is the last warning before I suspend you. I'd rather not do that, so just leave it as it is.

I'm not in charge of him, and he can do as he pleases. Although you and I have now both warned him not to continue this bantering back and forth.
It probably would have been wise for you not to continue to reply to him as well, or send a message yourself instead of allowing it to continue on between the two of you.
I have made my arguments, or opinions inside the Mod:OOC. Or at least those that I can remember, in order to allow my opinion, and perhaps compromise depending on the subject.
As far as things are concerned, I understand what you are trying to do, but as you have stated do not agree with some parts of it. Nor do I see the possible benefits that you speak of just yet.
This will be my last formal OOC post, so I do not wish nor expect a reply from you on it. That is all.

-shrug- We can discuss updates here. Its fine. Schi can discuss updates as well. The part that I said was his last warning was the disrespect towards me. Insults thrown towards any Moderator won't be tolerated. Its part of the rules. As with how you've done this will be the last post on the matter. Just putting this for clarification so that other members don't think they cant discuss updates.

Schi | Thanks for the letter thing Schi. I just figured people would go crazy for a big handout like that one. Especially since there might not be a bunch of big handouts like that coming for quite some time. But it seems handouts just aren't what they use to be to people anymore. But I will gladly accept the parade. With any luck, the whole thing will only cost a few bajillion dollars. And isn't that what it's all about? Being a bajillion dollars? Lol.
Guess it's off to the Mod Forum to take a look around. After that, it's onto looking at the new stuff around this joint. -pauses- Joint, huh? I feel like roleplaying with Doke and Doku right about now. <3

Hmm... guess I'll throw my two cents in. I didn't really see these recent changes as real limitations, though then again, I had focused more on the 'how does this affect my group', and the first thing that my mind went to was the element thing. that's going to take some work, but it's actually something I had wondered about before. (Considering even before that, I never really learned many Fire or Electricity techs for Hedoro, because it just wouldn't make sense. That, and the having to choose an element for their cards. http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp51/Hedoro/ZenwanKawaricard.jpgSo I'm sure there'll be some changes there, but it'll also make things interesting. Might even make those various ____ Seal techs from Leaf more useful. One thing I'd hope, is that a fair number of techs out there might go toward no Element. The basic stuff should still be available to everyone. As for what those 'basic stuffs' should be, not too sure.)
