The necromancer only chuckled.

"you don't know whom you speak to. while I am not the Lord of these lands..I am your master by my power alone. I can bend the line of life and death..and I can undo the spells the bind soul to flesh and flesh to undeath."

then a look to the breakers.

"Or they can force you."

Malik shook his head lightly.

"We can bring them here and you know it. but I think Cedric wants words with us."

A gentle hug to her, and a reassuring smile.

"Trust me..Arthur and Isle will take good care of them, and you know it."

then a look as Cedric was lead into see them.

"What brings you here, Cedric?"

She hugged him tightly and pet through his hair. "It's okay Malikhai. You're safe with me and Isle and Arthur. Now come on, hold tightly to my hand nad we'll be just fine." She lifted hte little boy up out of her lap and held his hand tightly in her own walking over to Isle, trying to be brave. "Who are they and what do they want?"

Wait, Sevilin was yelling? "So now you're on her side? We've been through this Sevilin. I can't! I can't and you know why I can't. Even if I wanted to I couldn't so it's a moot point to discuss it. I have too much of the old nature still in me and just like you I can't fully let go of the past. There I admitted it, are yo happy? I can't let go any more than you can and that is why I can't be what he wants. Besides if he has Piper that should be enough for him. SHe can be his mother and I can be Zara and everyone will go on like they should!" Of course her own voice raised at this, lashing out defensively in reaction to his own words.

Zykariel was leaning against the wall outside the kitchen listening. When he'd heard Daddy's voice upstairs he had crept back down to stand there and listen. He'd never heard them fight like this before and it sounded like he was the reason they were. Peering into the kitchen he saw both his parents, arms crossed and irritation clear on their faces. Carefully turning, trying really hard not to make a sound he tiptoed to the stairs and hten raced up them thikning they wouldn't hear him as he pounded them on the way to his room.

Dragomyzl let out a powerful sigh, it was best to control the fire, before it burned not only those who threathened but he who weilded said flames. The calmess of the ocean returned once more to his voice. "If you are a learned in the ways of magic, then why do you assume that this corpse was forced to live again? Too, quick to assume you know my secrets. I merely seek and audience with your Master, I come here not for war, merely information. If you are willing to give it, then I shall be more then willing to tell what you desire." he said his voice cold and emotionless.

"Because it is dead. and dead flesh does not reaminate without something forcing it to. be it magic, a powerful soul using it as a shell, or a magical soulstone forced into it. or other such things."

A smirk.

"But if you'll wish to see the master, first you come with us. you undead flesh could use some cleaning, not to mention the stench of undead needs to be..covered."

"I'm allowed to be paranoid...and you get that way too." Hey there had been plenty of instances for Malik as well when the boy was younger and had the tendency to slip away. "Yes I know that...but still." Though she tried to keep at least some sembelence of calm as Cedric was brought to them. Surface elf...didn't like him.

Isle shook her head. "I don't know." Stepping in front of both children, hand still on her sword hilt just in case as he keen ears listened to the conversation that was occuring. Hm, that was intersting.

Malikhai merely held to Lharika's hand, taking comfort in the fact that there were a lot of people around incase things went bad...and he could always run to mommy for comfort later.

"I'm not on her side, I'm on Zykariel's side! You don't understand or even see how much you confuse him, how much he doesn't understand why things are different or that if he waits long enough then you'll eventually be different from what you are now. He doesn't believe me that you'll never be ready to be his mom instead of just Zara." He shook his head this was trying now wasn't it?

Though she was spared anymore from him as his ears twitched at the sound of feet taking stairs way too fast. Well ******** knew what that meant. Which means he forgot his argument with Zahara for the moment and left the kitchen. "Zykariel?" Walking his way up those stairs to the boys room.

Cedric bowed. "I am here to asscertain your level of innocence on the recent orc activity. Your presence at the battle was limited, but still sufficient to suggest you may not have planed or been part of the plans surrounding the invasion. It would be most helpful if you would reasure Lady Meilikki that you are not engaging in war with the Purians through the use of orcish pawns."

"Of course, it would would be rude and ignorant to simply assume you would have done so. King Gererd, King Jiscal, King Trowgar, and Lord Roarke have been questioned as to how or why they would invoke such an attack. To summerize their thoughts on the matter quickly, Gererd can not identify an orc from a hill troll to save his life, nor would ever be capable of arranging such a movement. Simply put, his resources do not provide him with a means to do so. King Jiscal lacks the magical strength to organize such and adventure without being caught. Jiscal has access to better allies than orcs who would fill that role more cost-effectively. Trowgar is a dwarf to the ends of dwarfdom, and would rather cut off his own beird and head before ever forming an alliance with them. That leaves Roarke, who engaged me in coversation for the better part of several days explaining to me in excessive detail, and providing me with a ample supply of proof, that he would not engage in that sort of 'primative chess'. His prowess in magic and his love of modern technology would not be consistant with raising a phalanx of orcs, and not equiping them with his beloved traps and devices. Which leaves you, the last remaining power in Deep Water with anything to gain from the destruction of the Purians. Why are you not guilty of forming a secret alliance or simply using the orcs? That is the same question I asked the other powers, and that is what I shall ask you as well. What you say, do or do not say will be used to judge the situation." Cedric certainly had a mouthful to say on his fifth venture through this speach.

Arthur blinked a few times as he watched his 'person' speak to one of the necromancers, a slight shiver when he listened to them speak, he hated necromancers a lot, never understood why anyone wanted to do things with the dead it just creped him out a lot. Though the elf looked behind him for a second to see Isle stepping in front of both children to protect them, he gave her a slight nod, his face had a serious look on it because he did not trust this...thing near the children at all. Slowly Arthur turned his head towards the necromancer and the person who was talking to them, best to keep an eye on them just incase things go wrong.

Lharika held tightly to Malikhai and stepped back a bit though remained behind Isle. She could'nt fight things yet and neither could Malikhai, they were both too little. Thus reliance on the grown ups to deal with...things.

It all happened way too fast for Zahara to follow things. Sevilin was telling her that Zykariel wanted her to be his mother and then all of a sudden he was gone. Her mind took a moment to process the pounding sound she'd heard and when it clicked she dropped her head to the table. "Just great.." Why was she forced to deal with such things? Who had given Zykariel the idea that she was anything like Piper anyway?

Sitting on his bed facing the wall, picking at random pieces of his quilt he didn't even look over as his father walked into his room. "What?" His voice wasn't devoid of emotion in fact it was so full of it it was hard to tell just what he was feeling.

Again Dragomyzl cocked an eyebrow. "If you wish me to be more presentable, that doesn't require me to follow you, I had been hoping not to use much of my limited magics until I required them and it seems that now is that time." He smiled and took a step back and smiled, that goofy child like grin he had only once before. "Lots of rocks, me smash!!!" he giggled as a child would, bringing his left leg chest high and slamming back into the ground, with violent results.

A pillar of earth, about 2 feet in diamete and up to his waist in height appeared before him. Again his facial expressions changed, he spoke not a word, and simply blew upon the pillar of rocks, a massive jet of wind erupting from withing the boulder, balancing the shattered pieces in a whirlwing.

Again he chaged his mood, a fire in his eyes. He smiled and took in a deep breath, cupping his hands at chest level, and extending his arms as he exhaled, the whirlwind of rock erupting into flames. "Now that's some hot rocks!" he laughed rather loudly.

"And now for the last part of life, water." he said with that emotionless tome of voice, his arms bent at his midsection and rising to his face in one fluid movement, water sprang from underneath his feet and collided with the burning mass, it instantly becoming ball of blinding light. No sooner had the ball appeared, did Dragomyzl absorbed it into his frame. The changes were almost instant.

THough his clothes remained the same, his flesh was once more fresh, the rank of death gone. "Shall we proceed?" he said again in that emotionless tone.

"Oh for the love of Inorruk! Get out Cedric...." Pinching the bridge of her nose at that. Sure, that's the last thing she wanted to come waltzing into her house, an informal accusation of involvement of such a thing, be it true or not she didn't care. Point was she didn't appreciate this method at all and wasn't going to tolerate it. A frown clear on her features and she was none to happy. Didn't anyone ever hear of sending paperwork summons instead on invading private places to sling accusations? Yup, jumped the gun of Malik answering, but she didn't care.

Sevilin ran a hand through his hair and sighed, walking into the room and sitting down on the bed next to the boy, watching him pick at the quilt. Didn't take much to put things together. "No one's mad at you son, you didn't do anything wrong." Reaching a hand out to pet through the child's hair.

"You've been mad at me since I started asking questions and now Zara's upset too." He sighed and shook his head. "Why are you fighting?" He pouted and shook his head. "I told you not to mention anything to her about it. Just like Miss Piper said, good things come to those who wait. But now I'm probably goign to have to wait even longer 'cause you upset her." He started to cry, his little shoulders shaking though he didn't turn to his father for comfort but he didn't pull away either. He was so confused right now. If no one was mad at him why were they yelling at each other and why had his name come up several times?

And he was the bad guy, he'd made the boy cry. "I haven't been mad at you, I was mad at Malik because he was telling you things that aren't his business to tell you." Gods he felt back down. "Because that's what grown ups do, we fight. Mostly over stupid things. But it's not your fault...we just don't know how to handle things sometimes so we yell." Reaching over he drew the boy into his lap, wiping lightly at his cheeks and trying to quell tears. "I promise, it's not your fault."

Malik gave a grin, and leaned back.

"and here I was thinking you were just coming by for a friendly visit."

then a smirk.

"Lets say I did arrange for it. there's nothing you can do. the Purians haven't the force, you and Tarathiel's crew alone can't lay seige to me. Deepwater nor the dwarven kingdoms have the manpower."

then a more serious look.

"I'll give you this. I did allow the experimentation on orc scouts found near my borders. those experiments were to be the simple, typical ones. extract the good benifits, and try to weed out the bad through undeath or distilleration of the soul."

then a lean forward.

"Not to mention, had I arranged it, it would have been for the insult I was given not to long ago, an dI certainly wouldn't have wasted manpower by having them attack me as well."
s
"the Penninsula is not my concern, Cedric. Jiscal is. his comments make the human dangerous to me. he grows bored, and bored humans occupy thier time with thuoghts of war and money. he already mention that had not Tarathiel forged my signature on that treaty, that he woudl be come calling to claim taxes, and that this land was 'his'."

"I want the Purian's as my ally, and not his. I gain nothing by attacking them and not ensuring thier destruction, as you know I could have. Wether or not, however, that one of my necromancers overstepped his bounds and tampered with things he shouldn't have...that I can't directly claim without an in house investigation."

the necromancers watched casually.

"thank you for the display. now that we know you are a spirit inhabiting a fleshy body the way one wears a coat, we will proceed. come with us."

Zykariel turned his face into his father's hands and only cried harder. He didn't want anyone to be mad but they all were and he wasn't sure if he believed his father or not. Zara yelled, that was what she did but not Daddy. Daddy only yelled when he was super upset about something.

But shortly after he'd begun crying, his tears started to quiet down to small sobs and then he sniffled and looked up to meet the serious red eyes he adored so much. "You really don't think she'll ever be ready do you Daddy?"

"I never expected such honesty. I guess the drow destroying my homeland simply tainted my opinions of them." Cedric replied. "So you do not have complete control over your house." Cedric shrugged. "I wish I had visited you first instead of last, as I would not have to endure Roarke's outrageous speaches of outrage." Cedric used his left arm to follow his words, while allow his right to stay were it was. His eyes noticed a certian hostility in the corner, but did nothing about it.
