"Like I said, if I can't convince Aled to fight... I'm killing him. He'll welcome it, no doubt." Ainsu replied as they flew. "As for Kaguyo... she'll come back with me." he smirked darkly. "Kazuhiko saw to that with his little information concerning Chiaki."

~ ~ ~

Watari laughed at the idea of a makeover. "Look, I may not know my original gender, but I can't switch now and I'll look a bit odd in make-up... though seems I already have the perm down."
His hair was curly and long, as always... and a bit out of control, even at the best of times.
"But yes, it's a mental block. I can only imagine Konton did something directly to my mind." the scientist replied, sitting down on the floor in front of the television.
He used the bed as a backrest before flipping through the channels, trying to find something to watch.
What he found, wasn't a movie... but a marathon of some show called 'Hikari no Hotaru'.
And it was quite funny, even if it was a bit of a slice-of-life drama.

~ ~ ~

(((OOC: I recommend that show highly! I got a girl in the office addicted to watching it last fall with me. Every time we worked together she was like, "Did you bring it?" We didn't get to finish it together though. But it's an awesome show... the girl totally reminds me of me (her mannerisms and stuff)! Like, she's my Japanese clone, man!)))

~ ~ ~

Sighing once again, Aled released Kaguyo from his arms and turned back to the fireplace.
It took him a few moments to find the right words to speak.
"Then you choose me... over Ainsu?" he asked softly, fearing her answer.
If she said yes... then she would die and he knew it.
Not only her but Ainsu. The man wouldn't last long without Kaguyo... he had lived for her since they had first met, after all. Even if the woman hadn't known it.
But, if she said no... then he himself would die.
Either way, Aled truly feared the outcome

Kaguyo nodded. "I choose you and this planet over him and his new home." she came up behind him, hugging his waist. "I can sleep here... Things are going to hell but this is home. He'll be alright on Earth... he likes it so much... Gods I hate it there." she nuzzled him gently, "I know you'll both be alright now, and that means I can die happily. I'm not leaving you here to die alone... Like I said... my soul isn't welcome on Earth." she smiled sadly. "The only place I truly belong is here."

Yuki bit her lip, tapping a pencil she grabbed from the desk against it as well. "Well," she paused, starting to tap it against her shoulder when she spoke, "Morrigan was fractured at one point, right?? To the point she didn't have her powers, either. What if solving your block is similar to solving hers?"

Aoki raised an eyebrow. "Wow. Almost creepy dude, just better make sure she actually forgives you this."
He knew as well as he did her stubbornness. She'd came close to killing him maybe once.
"Are you sure he wasn't just lying?" he insisted, genuinely curious, "How the hell does one see such things?? Worse, what if Chiaki is actually a girl??? She'll be just like her, how disgusting..."

But Aled knew the truth.
If Kaguyo stayed with him, it would utterly destroy Ainsu.
'What had he fought so hard for?' Aled through to himself, his hands gently resting on Kaguyo's around his waist.
"A... arigatou, Kaguyo..." the Ou spoke, his voice feather soft.
But he didn't say anything else... mainly because Aled feared his voice would break.
Kaguyo chose him.
She wanted to be with him.
Over Ainsu.
For the Tarnb-jin Ou... it was something unlooked for and surprising... something endearing and heartwarming.
And something so gentle, and yet so cruel... that it brought tears to his eyes.

~ ~ ~

"You're saying, let Po-ar walk around in my mind, right?" Watari asked, tilting his head back so he could look up at Yuki on the bed. "Might not be a bad idea... wonder if he'd know what to look for... course if we could do an MRI and try to map out the general area... that might help when he's looking around in there."

~ ~ ~

Ainsu smiled, "I think... if Chiaki were a girl, she would want to be seen. The child's a boy... and from what I gathered during that conversation... he's a lot like me. He didn't want to be seen or noticed... he wanted to observe."
It was Ainsu to a literal T...
There was a reason he wasn't an actor, why he spent countless days and night cooped up in his establishment.
Ainsu wasn't very social. He never had been. Aled hadn't really helped him on that... but Po-ar had. It had been thanks to Po-ar and Ashuri that Ainsu actually enjoyed the company of his friends.
Then there had been Kaguyo... and he had craved her company ever since.
"She'll forgive me. She has to. If she hates me forever... Chiaki won't be born."
PostPosted: Tue Aug 18, 2009 6:10 pm

"Don't mention it." Kaguyo nuzzled him, moving carefully to stand before him. "I knew it the moment we almost kissed the other day... Once you were gone, I regretted that we hadn't."
She was smiling warmly up at him, gently playing with his hair in both her hands. "We only have another hour and a half, my love... The deal I made was three days a week, and for only two hours per day. If you want longer, perhaps you could work something out with your tenant..." she addressed the Muse delicately, not wanting to offend, "Or perhaps I can. I'm just happy to see you... so relieved, Al-kun."

Aoki thought over this logic and spat in disgust. "You're right. Sounds just like her to want to be the center of attention all the time... I should've guessed as much. Good luck with that though. You know she held that one grudge against you for a pretty long time." he pointed out, "You might have to romance her all over again if you don't go about this the right way.... But off topic, perhaps we should seek shelter." he advised Ainsu, "We have another day or two yet before we get to the palace, even at this pace."

Yuki nodded. "I think that's a good idea." she agreed, "We should study your brain to figure out what portions relate to what emotions and parts of your daily routines, etc... maybe whatever isn't working would be a good place to start."

Nodding, Ainsu landed.
They had been flying with their ki output so slim, that it was hardly any faster than running.
But it DID allow for them to go over buildings and trees instead of around them.
"If you hadn't noticed, Aoki... I'd do practically anything for Kaguyo. I can't think of anything that I wouldn't do actually... which is why I'm so determined."
He ducked under what was left of a house, pushing aside some burnt beams to reveal a somewhat sheltered enclosure.
It would at least get them out of the rain.
"We can try and build a fire in here." Ainsu spoke, looking around for something to use as tender.
Their ki would start the fire... but they had to find something that wasn't soaked through yet.

~ ~ ~

The scientist frowned slightly, "My powers aren't working, but otherwise I feel perfectly, one hundred percent, fine. A little cold... but that could be because I'm tired." Watari shook his head. "Everything else is normal. Really."

~ ~ ~

"When we nearly kissed, Kaguyo... I was being selfish." Aled spoke, looking down at the woman. "But... I can't lie how much I wanted you... I was in pain," he laughed softly, "I still am... and I suppose I thought you were the perfect balm... but I see how selfish the feeling really was."
He released Kaguyo and went to pour them both a drink.
"You know me better than anyone." he said, offering the woman a glass. "Me and my complex myriad of emotions."
Aled was making fun of himself, but he was still smiling.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 18, 2009 6:54 pm

"Selfish?" Kaguyo raised an eyebrow, before trying to figure out whether or not the drink was such a good idea. "How about honest, you dumbass?" she teased back, although she was partially serious.
She moved closed to him, taking the drink after all. She was finally smiling like she used to.
"In truth, you know me better than anyone as well." she answered, "Although you still underestimate my will and stubbornness. I suppose some things never change."
She took a sip of her drink, but seemed taken aback. "Goodness, I really have missed this stuff... Earth doesn't have anything like it, all their drinks taste like... well... like crap. I never realized how strong this stuff was."
She set down the glass, blushing a bit. "I think I lost my tolerance, Al-kun." she hugged him again, sighing deeply. "I missed you... I missed you so badly, and you've been gone what, only a day or two...? It felt like years." she squeezed him tightly. "I'm happy you decided to let me stay."

Yuki nodded. "Oh, I don't doubt that. You have any idea the type of care you got? I hate to say it, but Kaguyo and the others might as well have been left in ditches; I had all the other students and doctors taking care of them. You were my pet project. I wouldn't have been able to function very well had something happened to you." she smiled. "No one would hire me if they found out I killed the scientist I was supposed to assist. 'You killed your boss? Hell no! Get out of here!' " she teased, starting to cheer up. "You should give me a raise for that." she poked him in the side. "A big, fat raise."

Aoki nodded. "Oh, I noticed and have even exploited that in the past." he reminded the man, "Ainsu, I hate to say it, but you're rather predictable in that sense. I suppose, however, so is your t**t of a girlfriend."
His clones came from out of nowhere with massive amounts of firewood, drying them out with just a little ki. "So, once we're done with this, mind showing me around Earth a bit more?"
He felt a bit awkward asking Ainsu on a man-date---he seemed like someone he could be friends with, though. "Do they have bars, any good looking women? You'd make a good wingman. Maybe." he tilted his head, tossing the wood in a pile, smallest sticks and kindling in the center. "I was always curious what Aled and Po-ar saw in that planet."

Aled set his glass down after draining it, "I didn't exactly have a choice now, did I?" he asked, finding himself suddenly glomped by Kaguyo.
For lack of a better term...
"It was too selfish. I was ******** miserable after Shiori's murder, and seeing your love for Ainsu didn't help things in the least." the Ou replied, gently putting his arms around Kaguyo. "This may be the last of that stuff as well. Seems someone set fire to the brewery and burned it to the ground. Granted it's flammable so... of course it would make quite the explosion."

~ ~ ~

"We get paid?" Watari asked, his expression completely deadpan.
But then he laughed and reached up, grabbing Yuki and carefully pulling her down onto the floor to sit beside him.
The scientist had a blanket draped over his shoulders, but he moved so that it would cover her as well.
Nice and cozy.
"You can have my job if you want it." he replied with a smile. "I'll trade you. Then again, you kind of did have my job while I was out of commission... how was it?"

~ ~ ~

Ainsu carefully directed his ki to light the fire, "Aled never saw anything in Earth." he replied before sitting down out of the rain, making sure the fire kept burning. "Po-ar didn't either. It started with Marori, Ashuri's friend and on-time fiancee of Aled." he looked to Aoki. "She didn't love Aled, thought he was a b*****d which, at the time, of course he was. Marori ended up on Earth because that was where Vejita was. She loved him. Fighting ensued and to make a long story short, Marori fell in love with a man, an Earthling, named Yamucha. Ashuri remembered she was Aled's little sister, Po-ar remember he was actually Aled's son, and Aled was killed and buried under the Tree. I wasn't in the army anymore at the time, but Po-ar told me about it when he got back to Tarnbsei... hell, I helped him to find the planet in the mountains which would bring Ashuri back to life... seeing how Aled had killed her."
Ainsu sighed, leaning against the burned out part of the house behind him.
"Po-ar loves Morrigan, that alone draws him to Earth. Aled couldn't care less about Earth. I suppose, while he was still a lunatic, it was more that Po-ar was ON Earth that made him want to blow the s**t out of the planet. Even Konton could care less about Earth... which is why I hated drawing that planet into this war in the first place."
'A war that should have ended with them just killing me and getting it all over with before it started.' he thought angrily.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 18, 2009 7:32 pm

"What." Kaguyo's eyes widened in absolute disbelief, "No f#cking way, they burnt it down??! And hey, before Shiori was murdered was when we nearly kissed." she pointed out, a smirk in her eyes, "The only selfish thing of you was to leave, baka..."
She did take another sip of her drink, offering to share it with Aled. "I still can't believe we may never have this again. We really need to dig up the recipe... Maybe I can work on making it in between our little visits together." she smiled, kissing his chest.
She would've tried for his chin but it was so far above her...
Going tip-toed would've gotten to his collarbone.
"Damn." she whispered, blushing, "I always liked how little I am in comparison with you. Always made me feel safe. And even if you didn't have a choice, you are happy that I'm here, aren't you?"

Yuki blinked in confusion at first before laughing loudly, surprised by the sudden dragging off the bed.
She landed gracefully however, snuggling with the blanket.
"Your job... well, it isn't bad." she thought carefully, "Some aspects of it suck. Like the 400 people who don't know what they're doing. Wasn't fond of that. Plus I didn't get to invent anything mega-awesome, I just got to nurse people back to health... which is rewarding, but boring. I wanted to make cool stuff." she shrugged. "Instead I was just a doctor. I'm glad you're back, maybe now things won't suck so much."

Aoki tilted his head. "Ahhh... so that's why he suddenly disappeared all those months. I heard the rumors, but damn, man... Didn't realize he was shacked up already. Are they even married?? The Ouji and she are Kazuhiko's parents, if I remember right... I don't really know her very well, isn't bad looking but I can't place what part of her is like her son. He reminds me of a hyperactive Aled." he frowned. "That could turn good or bad, really. But on topic, YOU like Earth don't you?" he watched him carefully, "Or should I say screw it and find a different planet to live on after this?"

Aled blinked, "Wait... it was before?" he asked, obviously confused for a moment.
His memories had it the other way around... but why?
The Ou shook his head slightly, clearing his mind. If his memories were jumbled like that, it wasn't his fault.
'Damned Muse...' he thought, to which a cheeky voice replied, 'What part of an 'evil Muse' don't you people understand?'
"We have more of this in storage. I simply meant no more would be made after the stores are used up." Aled replied, smiling slightly and trying to maintain their conversation from earlier.
But her question took him off guard.
"I... part of me is very happy, yes." he replied honestly. "Another part is grieved that you're going to suffer this with me."

~ ~ ~

Watari laughed, "Well, glad to know you think my job only sucks when you're playing doctor. It does get tiresome." he replied honestly, gently kissing Yuki's forehead. "We're going to invent great things, Yuki-chan... just watch." the scientist whispered.

~ ~ ~

"No, they're not." Ainsu replied with a frown. "I can't blame them for already having Kazuhiko though... what with all the s**t they've gone through from Aled to Konton and some strange being called Herne... The two have hardly had a moment's peace. I'm hoping they'll get married after this business with Konton is finally settled."
The playwright crossed his legs under him, considering Aoki's question for a long moment.
"I don't hate Earth, but I don't exactly enjoy it either. It isn't home, Aoki. It's different... but I'm pretty sure... I don't know why but I'm almost certain that when this is finished, we won't be able to live here anymore."
PostPosted: Tue Aug 18, 2009 8:46 pm

Yuki blushed brightly, shyly looking down into the blanket, studying every little stitch. "I can't wait." she agreed, wiping her foggy glasses off, "I really need to start looking into contacts..."
It was true, this was about the third or fourth time now.
"And I don't mind playing doctor, it's just playing doctor all the time." she answered. "I mean, that was my job before... but it gets pretty dreary sometimes. What sort of stuff are you thinking about making?" she put her glasses back on, looking at him. "What do you have in mind?"

Aoki shrugged. "The kid seems like too much of a handful to control during times like these. They're lucky he has a faint sense of maturity. I do intend to tell his parents he's cursing though. Serves the little b*****d right. I guess he did imitate me with the clones though... Flattering..."
He took out a few rations he scrounged from Capsule Corps, handing one to Ainsu. "You need more energy in this weather... You think she knows we're here? Maybe trying to prevent us from getting there? If you do, I demand at least one slap, please." he held up one finger, "Just one. I f#cking hate the cold. She should be considerate."
He kept shivering, no matter how hard he tried not to. They had to wait for the fire to build up coals to get a really radiant burn. "I f#cking hate the cold." he muttered under his breath, almost feeling sorry for himself.
He thought over the last bit however, which was really what was worrying him. The cold he could deal with, but the idea that he couldn't live here anymore... well, it was both welcoming and disconcerting.
He could use the change of pace, but he had a feeling part of him would be homesick.
"So the wedding will be on Earth, then... If you're right, anyhow." Aoki mused. "You gonna be the best man? Do me a favor and try and get some hot bridesmaids. I haven't had time to pursue women for damn near five years... That's the first thing I'm taking care of after this. You're going to help me."
Odd enough, he was threatening but friendly... but strangely, it seemed like they really could be friends one day.

Kaguyo took note of the error; she had a feeling she knew who had done it also. Aled's little head-shake was all she needed to confirm it.
"It's not suffering if I enjoy being with you." she chided him, smiling softly. "Just focus on the happy part, you dolt. I love you. I'm here because I want to be, and I'm going to stay here and make you as happy as I can."
She stood on her tip-toes, trying to kiss his chin but just barely making the lower part of his neck. "Damnit..." she blushed furiously, going back to being flatfooted, "If I didn't fall over in them so much I'd start wearing heels...! I can't even be romantic right."
She closed one eye, looking down with a half-smile, her arms still resting on his shoulders. "I do love you though, Al-kun...-chan..? Which do you like better?"

Watari was blushing slightly, "What don't I have in mind?"
Oh if only he knew how wrong that sounded...
"I was thinking about a safe method of ki amplification... you know, for people who can't fly and such. It'd help people get off the ground, make moving a lot easier for them. I have a ki amplification serum but, as Po-ar found out, it's HIGHLY experimental. I was thinking some sort of accessory or something. What do you think?"

~ ~ ~

Ainsu smirked, taking a bite from one of the rations. "I think I know the PERFECT bridesmaid for you... if we could get her to wear a dress."
Oh yes... he was talking about Itachi.
An assassin would certainly knock some sense into Aoki.
"You use wind all the time, surely you're not THAT deterred by the cold. Air tends to be cold in the winter, after all... and it's practically snowing outside." his smirk remained as blue eyes took in the wet landscape beyond their meager shelter. "It's Kaguyo... no doubt she was upset and it started to rain... then sleet and hail... meaning she got angrier. If it's at us or something else, I've no idea."
In truth, Ainsu was getting used to the cold...
Kaguyo had, after all, nearly given the man hypothermia on more than one occasion.
"But I suppose I prefer a nice warm fire indoors than this."

~ ~ ~

"Either is fine." Aled replied, moving his arms down to rest on Kaguyo's waist.
Suddenly, without any warning, he had pulled the woman against him and lifted her.
Kaguyo was taller than him now, waist now just a few inches higher than his own waist.
Now... he had to look up at her.
"Good thing you're not heavy." the man teased her, but he didn't let go.
Aled felt relieved...
Right now, Kaguyo was safe in his arms.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:27 pm

Kaguyo giggled, kissing his forehead, cheeks, and lips gently before nuzzling his shoulder. She was quite affectionate. "Ah, aishiteru Al-chan..." she beamed, before smiling impishly, "So this is what it's like to be a giant, huh...?" she looked around, wrapping her arms around his neck, "I bet you never have problems getting anything off the top shelves."
She kissed him again, resting her forehead against his. "I'm just relieved that I can make you happy still." she admittedly quietly, "I was scared you really didn't love me anymore, you know. Terrified really."
She played with his hair absentmindedly, her feet dangling a wee bit above his knees. "You're lucky me hanging around you so much taught me to read you. If I had just met you I might've believed you. You do this thing when you lie though... You get really stiff." she moved back to look into his eyes, quite pleased with herself, "You do this... this thing, like when you're thinking about what to say... But your eyes always go up to the right whenever you lie. But mostly the stiffness. I could tell you were holding back a lot."
She was almost smug with herself.
"Once I saw that, there was no way in hell you were getting rid of me." she partially teased, "You had such conflicted eyes... Like part of you wanted me, and the other part was scared. You're easy for me to read. I'm happy I waited you out. I'm surprised I actually won such a battle of wills against you." she blinked a few times. "If... if Ainsu does come, you better not help him." she warned, deeply concerned, "I don't want to go back... No matter what you say, I really, really don't. Promise me you won't."

Yuki's glasses fogged up again, jaw dropping. "W-w-w-what??!"
But once he started talking about experiments and what not, her blushing subsided (at least a bit), and another polishing allowed her to see clearly once more. "Oh... oh um... well, I was thinking that if it was an accessory, you should make it a ring or something they won't be likely to drop. I'd say a belt but that could be ripped off easily... Same with earrings, even necklaces for those whose guards aren't up all the time." she thought it over. "Maybe a pair of shoes."

Aoki raised an eyebrow. "Is she hot?" he started grilling the man, "Is she not a total b***h? And does she have nice tits? Nice a**? Something along those lines?"
When it came to the wind thing, he just shrugged. "Cold makes my copies a bit more brittle." he admitted quietly, unsure of whether or not it was wise to trust him with such information, "And it figures the frosty c#nt would freeze this place up the minute we get here."
At least most of the fires were out now, everything blanketed with a rolling sea of white---grey where the ashes mixed in, black around the charred buildings.
Otherwise, it was pristine, just the way she liked it.
"I always hated winter." he added, sighing, "I prefer autumn or spring. Summer isn't bad so long as it doesn't get too hot. Then again, the air expands a LOT then so... Well, so long as it isn't storming, I can go through and be relatively dry. It's on the humid days, even in the winter, that I hate being myself the most. When you're the air, and you're trying to fly places, you pick up a lot of moisture, really fast. Never really shared this information with anyone." he blinked at Ainsu a few times. "So... please, try and keep it to yourself. I'm trying to give you reason to trust me."

(((OOC: *singing with a British accent*
Everybody's gonna love today, love today, love today.
Everybody's gonna love today
Anyway you want to, anyway you've got to
Love love me
Love love me
Love love me
*singing ends*
Sorry... that just kinda... yeah... I was listening to Mika while reading your post Sal and that was the song and I was reading the Kaguyo/Aled part... hehehehe.)))

~ ~ ~

Aled was smiling softly, but he was still holding himself back.
The man knew that if he embraced Kaguyo like he wished, if he let himself go... the Muse would creep in on that allotted time and kill her.
Or at least try his damnedest to.
"Of course I was scared, Kaguyo. It wasn't a part of me that wanted you... it was all of me. But my fear for you was trying to override my wants and desires and... well... what did you really expect me to do? I'd been practicing that speech in my mind for a while. Who knew you'd get around it so damn easily."
But soon his teasing mood ended and the man shook his head sadly.
"Even if I wanted to see Ainsu tear you away from me... I couldn't help him, Kaguyo. You know that. Two hours and then I'm not myself... and you'd better lock yourself in a damned room and bolt the windows closed. I don't trust the Muse around you, Kaguyo."

~ ~ ~

(((OOC: Now Seki Tomokazu's singing with Sumomo... yay for "Chobits" image song! It's sooo adorable!)))

~ ~ ~

"What if people lose their shoes a lot?" Watari replied, thinking things over. "A choker would work nicely... I mean, that'd be hard to rip off really. PLUS," he smiled. "It could be stylish. A ring could easily be lost... might fall down the drain or something. Maybe different sorts for different styles... different sorts of accessories, I mean. Hell, socks even, for those who like socks, I mean. Sandals might not look so good with socks, thus the need for variety."
He looked at Yuki, smiling... but that smile soon faded as he took in her blushing appearance.
For a long moment, Watari did nothing but study the woman's face. "You're very beautiful, Yuki-chan..." he suddenly whispered, unable to help it.

~ ~ ~

(((OOC: Now I've got Seki Toshihiko singing a Gundam Wing / Duo Maxwell image song... wonderful thing to listen to while writing Watari since... he IS Watari's voice after all. Hehehehe. Except he's got a random Kansai accent that's either infuriating or adorable... I don't know which...)))

~ ~ ~

Ainsu laughed softly, "Don't worry, I won't go spilling your secrets. Besides, I'm pretty damn sure Aled already knows them. He seemed adamant that he could handle you on his own from what I hear."
The man broke a piece of wood into four bits, placing the ends on the fire in a sort of cross shape, one piece pointing in each direction of the compass. The fire gave a quick roar and kept burning happily.
"Her name is Itachi, and I really don't know how to answer that question. She's cute I'd guess... but she never really shows herself much. YOU, Aoki, have probably met her a few times. She's Aled's assassin and, from what I can tell, not a b***h at all... well, unless you're on her bad side I guess." he smirked. "The wind and an assassin... kind of goes well together, I think."

(((OOC: Don't know why, but Tokio Hotel goes quite well for Ainsu lately... so oddly enough, my iTunes went, "HERE! Have some 'Rette Mich' for your writing!"... silly iTunes... But I really do love this song. It's slow and beautiful... yes, German can be pretty.)))

Kaguyo raised an eyebrow. "In your body, locking the door would've been the same as what I did to Ainsu to get here." she reminded. "Any of you would blast it down. You want to know something odd?" her brow furrowed, looking seriously at him, "I'm not afraid of the Muse... not even in the slightest. He did write all those plays for me." she reminded him gently. "He may be evil, but he has a gentle side. I respect him. He's gracious enough to let me see you... I have to repay him somehow. I'm just glad that the two of you will fight to keep me here. I'm deeply honored and grateful."
The weird thing is she meant what she said, and she said it knowing that the Muse would listen in. He was always curious about what was being said about himself after all; he was rather vain. "And after all, you're not fighting the Muse either..." she added, "So long as I don't provoke you into fighting him, I should be fine."
She didn't want him to worry.
"I'm just grateful to be here... the fact he hasn't even tried to hurt me yet baffles me, but I won't question it. So far he has been a very good host... and... well... guest, I suppose, in your case. He's taken good care of your body, that's for certain."
She blushed slightly at that, not making eye contact.

Yuki outdid Kaguyo's embarassment tenfold, glasses fogging up yet again.
She took them off and whipped them across the room, coughing softly and blushing even harder. "A...ar...arigatou...?" she scratched the back of her head, glad she couldn't see him seeing her reaction. "Ano, I'm not used to compliments... I didn't really go on any dates or anything like that growing up. That was more Shiori's thing... She always tried to get me to go on double-dates but it was always more awkward than anything."
She was pretty sure her glasses were broken.
"Do we have any contact lenses around here??" she asked, squinting as she tried to define his blurry form, "I think I shouldn't have done that."

Aoki grumbled at that. "Eh, f#ck Aled..." he muttered, "Then again, he was better than Konton. And Itachi? Are you kidding me? I've been by Aled's side a lot longer than you, buddy---I knew everything in the castle. Every single scandal that ever went down in that place, all of it was leaked by me. No-no. That woman is even more of a frigid Ice Queen than your Yo-yo-chan... hahaha.." he snickered at that, "You know I thought your eyeball was going to bust a blood vessel when he called her that. It's very fitting isn't it?"
It was his own way of telling Ainsu off for that suggestion. "No-no, I want Earth girls. Something on their TV said they were easy, some movie or something, I didn't get to watch all of it while I was there. Someone I can take to a club. I'm not really all about fighting and that, you know. Sure, sling around legislation here and there, pass a few laws, but you know, the Council really knew how to hold a party after hours. That woman doesn't speak, and that woman just doesn't like anyone. She's a bitter, bitter b***h, and I'm not the one to deal with her emotional and extortional and any manipulative bullshit. It's the quiet ones you gotta look out for." he warned him, "Plus, Aled's assassin? No. I'd rather not wake up in the middle of the night because one of my many forms was just assassinated. That really puts a damper on my night-life. No-no, I'll stick with the easy women who actually have fun not killing things, call me cute, and are a quick and easy lay I can disappear from early in the morning."
He just shrugged. "I'm too young to settle down yet."
Well....um....
"No, really." he insisted seriously, "I'm way too f#cking young---and hot, these contacts are amazing---- to not be hitting on every hot woman that walks by."
He already had plans for when he did go to Earth, and finally got comfortable. "I have epic plans, Ainsu..." he glanced up at the man with a smirk, "Plans that would make a legend out of any man who could pull it off. That's what keeps me focused on making it out of here alive and back to Earth, if what you say is right."

Strangely enough, Aled blushed a bit at the comment too.
He carefully let Kaguyo down, but not before kissing her forehead gently. "Yes well, he's only had it a few days so... there wasn't much to ruin yet." the Ou smiled, taking Kaguyo's hands in his own and leading her over to the sofa before the fire.
A fire that he quickly re-lit with a burst of his ki.
He sat, Kaguyo beside him, and Aled smiled. "I think the Muse is being gracious BECAUSE I don't fight... and because you're not provoking me to fight. With Ainsu, you were egging him on really."

For a moment, Watari didn't do anything.
He smiled softly, removing his own glasses and placing them on Yuki's nose.
The lenses changed themselves, adjusting for the woman's own bad eyesight and letting her see out of them just as plainly as he had.
"One should always carry a spare." the scientist replied, taking a second pair from his lab coat and fitting them on his nose. "But I've only got the two so... don't break that one, ne?" he teased.
But his amber eyes found Yuki's gaze. "Oh and um... they're rather fog resistant too..." he whispered before leaning close to the woman and kissing her deeply.
He wasn't exactly familiar with the dating scene either... but there was something about Yuki that just attracted him to her.
Watari wasn't ready to take their relationship anywhere further than a kiss here and there, especially since he knew what Yuki had been through with Aoikage now... but that didn't prevent him from sneaking that kiss now and then.

Ainsu said nothing, just listening to Aoki and smiling as the man talked.
He didn't rise to the bait about Kaguyo either.
He understood her indecisiveness...
In truth, he loved her all the more for it.
"Contact hmm? You know... there are a lot of girls who find glasses rather sexy on Earth, Aoki." the playwright put in for help. "It's called... called 'moe' I think. It's a big thing in Japan really. Works for both genders. Guys like some girls with glasses and vice versa. You just have to make sure you have a slim body to go with your glasses I suppose and, to be honest, you're not really the muscular type, Aoki."
Yep, Ainsu was teasing right back... but like he could talk!
Hell, a lot of people mistook Ainsu for a woman half the time so he had no place lecturing about muscles... though his were nicely toned and prominent when unclothed.
But then again, that was something Aoki didn't need to know.
"If I can ask, Aoki... what are these so called, 'plans', hmm?"
