Mitsuki gritted his teeth when Nova listed those things to him and Maya. He cletched his fists so tight that blood dripped from them. He didn't want to yell at either of them, so he began to walk away. Maya frowned and tried to go after him, "Mitsuki!" He picked up his speed and yelled back, "Leave me alone!" Maya slowly slowed down and turned to Nova, she sighed and walked over to him. "Come on....we can wait at my house....." she murmured. Mituki kept running and running, he refused to cry not here and not now.

Nova didn't look at the human as he went away. The Bryony vampire suggested waiting at her house, but Nova shook his head. He wanted to be alone as well. Standing up straight, the Kalika looked at his friend and hugged her. "No. I'm going to the park. I want to sit in a tree. It's something I haven't done in awhile," he said with a grin and walked off. His legs while he walked usually moved as if he were swimming, elegant and graceful, but since he was so upset, his steps were rigid and robot-like. Why did he have to say those things to Mitsuki? Why did he have to say those things... Why? Nova's eyse filled with tears as he walked down the sidewalk. Wherever Mitsuki went, the vampire knew where he was, he had a trail of blood with him. Nova knew the scent of Mitsuki's sweet blood. But, it was not sweet at the moment. It was raging with hate and anger. Nova took a hand to his eye to wipe a stray tear that had begun to travel down his cheek. He reached the park and ran over to a tree and jumped up, laying down on a branch. "I'm so stupid," he said to himself.

Mitsuki ran until he reached the open shopping center. He sighed as he wiped his eyes of any tears. He sat up straight and hurried over to somewhere he can be alone. He watched couples past by and giggle. It was only a few moments ago Nova and himself did such a wonderful thing, but now the evening was ruined. He lets out a sigh as he walked, "Well, well, well......if it isn't Mitsuki." He stopped and turned and noticed it was some bullies at his school. He sighed and hissed back, "Go away, I'm not in the mood." The guys just grinned and walked towards him, he sighed and shook his head, Well....I did want to get rid of some anger.... He then began to fight with the young men.

Nova sat in the tree and stared at the sky. He wanted so badly to be with Mitsuki, but he did not want to say something hurtful. Always him. It was always his fault for saying the things that he said. His mind was too open about his thoughts. He told too much. How come the vampire's mouth just could not stay shut? How come he said such things? Hopefully Mitsuki was feeling better somewhere. The only way to find out would be to find him. But... Again, Nova was afraid that he would say something that would make his human angry. His eyes widened. Mitsuki was not good with a lot of people from his school, right? Well, except the girls. The guys picked on Mitsuki, if Nova remembered correctly. And then there were vampires out there who would think Mitsuki was unclaimed, so they would try to take him. Well, that was impossible to do anyway. They may have been able to drink Mitsuki's blood, but like it did anything to help them. It would have been like drinking water. It would only clear out their organs rather than make them warm or fill them up. Nova shook his head. "No time to think of that! What if Mitsuki's in trouble?" he told himself and jumped from the tree, landing like a cat, and looked around. A few people nearby saw him jump from the tree, and their faces wore a shocked expression. Next thing they knew, Nova was gone.
"Uh, you see that?" the guy asked his girlfriend.
"N-No. Let's just pretend it wasn't anything," she replied.
"Good idea."

Mitsuki was running from the men, they ran after him. He sighed and growled, just because he kicked all their butts. They want to kill him. He ran and turned and began to punch and kick them. He was suddenly caught off guard and was lifted and tossed. Mitsuki waited to hit the ground, but he turned his head and noticed that he was tossed into the street. His eyes widen, the last thing he saw before it went black was lights and a car screeching. The men ran from the scene and a woman screamed.
Mr. Zuski stopped walking when he smelt a blood. His wife looked at him, "Dear....." His eyes widen of the amount of blood he smelled, Mitsuki... He ran as fast as he could and saw the car crash. He ran up to the body, Mitsuki. He was on top of the car, he growled and turned on his cell phone a called 911 and his 'special doctor'. "Where is Nova?" he wonders.

The heavy scent of Mitsuki's sweet blood floated through the air. Nova sped up until he saw a group of people. He slowed down to a stop beside a woman. "Uh... What happened here?" he asked her. The woman was shaking, and she looked away. Well, she was of no help to him. He wanted to know what was happening! The vampire pushed through the crowd. Other vampires were there, mostly those from the Kalika clan who knew Mitsuki was his human. He frowned when he noticed just how many of them were from his own clan. They all wore facial expression of grievence. Nova's eyes widened, and he ran to the crash scene. Almost as soon as he saw Mitsuki there, his lungs stopped their automatic in and out movement while his brain rushed with thoughts. The teacher from school, Mr. Ryo, as Nova called him, was there. The vampire ran over to him and looked at him, tears welling up in his grey eyes. "What happened!?" he yelled. His eyes traced back to the human, and he looked away. He did not want to see it. Nova brought his hands to his face to wipe tears away as they fell. "He's not dead, is he?" he asked, trying his best to calm himself down.

Mr. Ryo looked over at Mitsuki's body, "No....not yet anyway.....Mitsuki's very smart. His relfexes are quick.....he protected his neck and head....that quick thinking might have saved his life." He ambulance came and quickly placed his body on a stretcher. Ryo turned to Nova, "I'm going to make sure he gets our vampire doctor, who treats our humans....my wife will take you to the hospital...I'm going to ride with Mitsuki and make sure he gets the care he needs. The last thing we need is the media to find out how he survived...." He turned and hurring to the ambulance. Mrs. Zuski walked over and placed her hands on his shoulders, "Come....let us go."

Nova tried protesting to having to go with someone else. He wanted to ride in the ambulance with Mr. Ryo and Mitsuki. But, as long as he got to see his beloved human, then he would do whatever he was told. Looking up at Mrs. Zuski, he nodded and held his arms close to his heart. "Oooooh, please be safe, Mitsuki," he whispered. 'Cause if you die, then I'll die on the inside.

After what felt like hours, Mitsuki opened his eyes and looked around. The room was white and it was so bright. Am I dead? If he was dead, he would miss his beloved vampire. He shooked and he ached, he turned his head and saw Mr. Ryo right next to him. Ryo smiled, "You're awake!" he said with a smiled, "Thank goodness...." Mitsuki looked at him and asked, "Am I dead? Cause if I am....you look like my teacher...." Ryo looked at him and laughed, "No...you're alive..." his smiled turned serious. "You are at the hospital....you got hit by a car." Mitsuki groaned, "I'm so stupid...." Ryo sighed, "Not really...my clan went after the person that threw you....but enough about that....how do you feel? You are very lucky to have been chosen as a feeding bag, otherwise broken bones or even death would of happen." Mitsuki groaned again, "So.....no broken bones? It feels like I do...." His eyes widen and looked around, "Where Nova?" Ryo sighed, "He should be here any mintue now...."

Once they arrived at the hospital, Nova ran into the main section of the building. Both him and Mrs. Zuski asked for the emergency room Mitsuki was in. Once they had the directions, Nova sped off in the direction the told them the wing the human was in. After a few minutes of running and checking doors, asking docters and whatnot, Nova found himself outside of Mitsuki's door. He looked behind him and frowned. He accidentally left Mr.s Zuski behind in his crazy rush to see Mitsuki. Well, he was sure she knew how to navigate through a hospital, much unlike himself. He opened the door slightly and checked who the in there, not wanting to barge in on someone who was not his human. While standing in the doorway, his eyes widened as tears formed in his eyes. He stepped into the room a few inches and looked at Mitsuki in the bed. "A-Are you okay...?" he asked.

Mitsuki lifted his head and whispered, "Nova....." Ryo stood up and nods, "He's fine...just brused and sore....really sore....I'll leve you two alone." He walked over to the door and before he left said, "The doctor will be coming to check on you soon....." He left the room, Mitsuki lifted his arm; reaching out for Nova. "Nova? So.....I guess I'm alive after all....." He wanted to feel the other's soft skin, the other's hand. His eyes half drooped tired from the painkillers they gave him.

"You're stupid, Mitsuki," Nova remarked as he walked over and knelt beside the other's bed. "What I meant by my words earlier, before you ran off, was that you should have stayed and talked about it," he said. "I hear talking usually helps a human relax." Ahh, Nova and his naive and innocent mind. He took Mitsuki's hand and pressed it against his cheek. "But don't always take what I say the wrong way, okay? My mind's full of different thoughts, and maybe I merged some together when I spoke," he whispered and kissed the other's palm. He hugged his human's hand gently and smiled. "But I'm glad your'e not dead or anything. I would have felt like my inner self would have died."

Mitsuki took the belittlement from Nova. He smiled when the other held his hand tightly. "I know....I know.....I'm stupid...." He felt the other emotion just by looking into his eyes and the way he talked. "Sometimes....talking isn't enough....sometimes.....talking is never heard......sometimes.....I'd wish....my parents would just come home.....and not just come to tell me they will be gone longer...." He closed his eyes and felt hot tears forming, he didn't want to feel so weak in front of Nova. "I wished for that since I was so young....then they give me hope that they would change...only to rip it away from me and act like nothing happened...."

Nova rubbed his cheek against his human's hand and grinned. "When speaking to me, Mitsuki, your voice will always be heard," he said and looked at him. "And, maybe to patch up the hole you've got with your parents, try being a little warmer toward them. I'm sure if you show them emotions other than anger and that cold look on your face, they will stay longer." He shut his eyes and then hummed softly. The last thing Mitsuki said struck the vampire's heart like one thousand arrows. His hold on the human's hand tightened, and he looked at him. "Never give up on hope. Don't give up on the people around you. Instead of parents, you've got Maya and I. We may not be nearly as importants as a person's parents, but that's really all we've got." He sighed softly. "Technically I have no family anymore. I had to leave my clan because I took a male as my human. I'm worthless to the Kalika clan. But seeing as we're a group of kind-hearted vampires, we don't let go of others so easily," he said and leaned closer to Mitsuki's face. "Just remember that you've got me." He grinned and then kissed his human on the cheek.

Mitsuki smiled, "Yeah...I have you two...." he closed his eyes and breathed steadly. He had them, that's all. The doctor came in and spoke up, "Well, your healing quite nicely...I guess your feeding bag heals pretty fast." The doctor answers, Mitsuki made a small growl, but it soon turned into a groan in pain. The doctor shook her head, "Your parents are outside, would you like to see them?" Mitsuki closed his eyes and held Nova tight. "No....I just want to be with Nova...my Nova...." he murmured as he drifted off the sleep. The doctor shook her head, "Painkillers....gets them everytime."
