squirm flicked through he book then turned to nightmare as he sat there.
"well if we get there soon id like to head to Mt kujaku, that’s where we last saw wamu. i don’t know what his been up to since we last saw him but it will be great to see him again. im sure hell be surprised to see us. "
squirm turned looking out of a small window out to sea.
"maybe he will even know where chey is."
Squirm stared out for a moment trying to remberher more then stared back at his book.
"ive never seen that third eye of yours before, nightmare why do you have it?"

Nightmare smiled it had been quite some time since he'd seen Wamu. he really was like a far off brother too him and he loved making jokes with Wamu.
"That should be a splendid visit if all goes according. And as for my third eye, it is more Chey's then it is mine, it lets me see what she can see if only she didn't wear the bandage, so everything just seems more of shadows with it. But i guess it is my own fault for her never letting me see what she does. For you see I once took thei...well gift i aquired and started to nose into her personal buisiness when she had told me not matter what that I should not veiw what she does for the moment. And curious me saw, thus her wearingf the bandage over her other eye. Don't get me wrong Chey still has both her eyes its just one is a portal for me."
With that he laughed at his own stupidity of his youth.
"so what interesting book have you stumbled upon my dear friend?

squirm listened to nightmare intently he had never heard about that always assuming chey had lost her eye in some accident. he hadn’t realised how close nightmare and his sister were and the bound they shared, they had a strange relationship that squirm found hard to understand but through all the hardship nightmare still tried to look after her.
"its just a book on a creature known as Byblos. I just found it interesting reading some of the pages telling of this strange creature in dark time who brought about terrible destruction and a small war between neighbouring cities. I hope u don’t take this the wrong way but it reminded of that picture I saw of you and chey. I still cant believe you were involved in something like that. "
Squirm placed the book back on the shelf and could hear the rain die down outside and the captain shout up on deck.
“all hands on deck, Mt kujaku lies ahead.”
"looks like we're here"
squirm grinned to nightmare
"Lets go find wamu"

"whoo!" Yarshe cheered, running back on deck to help the captain; she was still trying to prove her usefulness to him.

Fira looked over the list as she replied, "Well we need what ever fruit we can find, then after that fish, beef and the rest of the groceries. Oh, also some herbal tea for Maki and I'm going to grab some grapes for me."

"Alright, that sounds good to me," Fira knodded as she walked into the market and began to look for the dry meats that would last them for a long time. After paying for some fish, the phoenix then headed to where the fruit stands were and grabbed a number of items. After she had bought all of the food they would need she picked up some herbal tea for Maki and grapes for herself.
There was nothing else on the list for her to get so she quickly turned back to Zetsuei and dropped an armful of items into th bag. For a moment she glanced back at the ship with worry in her face before she looked back to Zetsuei, "I think that it. Is there anything else you wanted to get?"

Opening the bag for her to drop the items into he looked around and shook his head.
"Nope there is nothing else, I dont need to eat all that much so I think we will be good on that. The ship has plenty of fuel. Lets go back and check on Maki"
spreading his wings Zetsuei jumped into the air with the bag of groceries in his hand.

"Yes, lets hurry back," Fira agreed as she waited for Zetsuei to gain some air before she jumped up. Her wings ripped out of her orange wings ripped out of her back and pumped down to gether higher into the air before she caught the wind under her feathered wings.

A blue mist appeared in where Maki had been sitting only hours before, singing a faint lullaby.

"Help me .... ," whispered a soft voice from the blue mist. "Can anyone hear me?"
The blue mist spun in place over Maki's chair, waiting for someone to listen.

Landing on the deck of the airship Zetsuei's wings folded up and then vanished ashe walked to the door and pressed a combination of buttons wating to hear the click of the doors unlocking but didnt hear it.
"Fira, I feel as if something isnt right"
He said as he turned around and awaited for her to walk up.

Landing on the ship after Zetsuei Fira walked up and stopped in front of him, "I think there's something terribly wrong as well. Ever sense we left the ship I've had the same feeling of something not being right." She looked over at the door of the ship that refused to open.
She walked over to it, "Let's hurry and check on Maki, if I can get the lock to open first." she placed her hand near where the lock of the door was as she began to heat it up until it melted the lock just enough that it wouldn't be ruined, but enough that it would not open. She quickly pushed in on the door, and at first it didn't budge, so she tried harder to push in the door and this time she almost fell to the floor because of the way it suddenly flung open.
Quickly she gained her balance and glanced back at Zetsuei before she began to make her way down the hall, "Let's go."
