Okami Ten People most hunters only hunt Psy's and Sangs and those are vampires. Most otherkin aren't worth the trouble. Because most otherkin are weak in comparison to vampires and that they don't have enough power to cause trouble for the normal human population. Well, energy manipulators in general (as well as sang. vampires). There's a lot of names for what they are, but then tend to all have their own... how to put it... troublesome members?

I Think you are all ignorant I have been training to be a hunter me being a psychic and my two best friends are vampires and several of my friends are otherkin. Not all hunters are bad most go after unruly vampires otherkin are never a target because they are powerless and in camparison to vampires, psychics and, angels are worthless.

I'm sorry, but an experienced otherkin (hell, or even regular human) is a lot more potent and better at staying alive than a whining emo boy who thinks he needs to go drink blood and Miss Cleo.

Obscurus I've never come across a hunter nor have I ever heard of any hunters before. Since there are plenty of vampire/otherkin sites I'm thinking that there should be some vampire/otherkin slayer/hunter sites. For some reason I've never been able to find anything more than roleplayers. Do you think hunters are just technophobes or that they prefer to go unnoticed? I only know of this whack-job 'vampire hunter'. He basicly tells people that they're going to hell and sprays holy water on them. Really pisses me off. EDIT:: And yes, I saw him at his web site. Or a page about an interveiw with him. Can't remember but I'll check if anyone wants me to find it.

Almost all of the so-called otherkin hunters are people with low self-esteem who attack other people's beliefs in order to feel more important themselves. There's the occational nut that goes out and acctually breaks laws by threatening otherkin with physical harm. And there's the rare lunatic that splashes people with holy water and tries to put kin through some sort of exorcism.
Most of these hunters are completely powerless to do things other than annoy, frustrate, and send the occational kin into panic.
Almost all of them actually.

I found a facebook group for "otherkin hunters'. It's basically a grop of people who do not wish to physically or energetically hunt otherkin, but to convince us that our beliefs are crazy. Doesn't seem like such a threat to me.

I don't think that really matters much. What matters is that we have a harmless group of people who disagree with us so much that they are willing to make a facebook group. :p

But obviously I think a little bit different than they must.

Yes, but I have come across many demon hunters, not otherkin hunters.

It really does depend on the situation.

Not recently hunted, but I know people who have been hunted a long while back.

my, hunters! scary, but I have not met a hunter before. I don't think it would end well for the hunter ^_^
I am a researcher. right now I am on my way to Wisconsin to investigate the beast of bray road, I don't kill or track down anything, but if it proves to be a danger to the surrounding community then I will interact, kinda foolish, but it what I love.

It's a lot better to interact instead of hunting. Most spirits or creatures called evil are merely misunderstood and often times had valid reasons.
