WRENxxxxxSENJU Everyone was progressing at such a rapid rate. After what seemed like a few minutes of study, everyone was getting a hang of their techniques and were moving on. All of the pressure was suddenly too much to take for poor ol' Wren. Despite his nerves being a jumbled mess of inadequacy, Wren still set out to do his best. The first technique was luckily one he had also learned in the past; all he would need to do now is prove he could perform it. Focusing his chakra throughout his body, Wren made a single hand seal and projected his chakra forward and forcing it to take shape. With a quick puff of smoke, a perfect replica of Wren appeared before the boy. [clone tech learned]
From here on out, it was all new territory. Wren would no longer be able to draw upon past knowledge to make it appear like he was excelling. Still, even he could make it happen with a little hard work... right? right? Whatever! That didn't matter right now. There was a time to worry and a time for action, and right now was the time for action! It was the time to learn the substitution jutsu! Dispelling the clone before him, Wren set a coin he found in his pocket down on the ground where the illusion once stood. After another quick hand seal, Wren pushed his chakra into the coin, focusing on its location versus his own. With a quick push, the boy and the coin had suddenly switched places. Perfect! Now all that was left was the Kai technique. Simple in theory, but you can never tell with these things. The technique called for a quick flush of chakra to surge throughout the body, which seemed easy enough. After a few moments of quiet meditation, Wren gathered chakra into his gut and blasted it throughout his body in one quick push. With the process down, He'd now have to partner up to kai out of Chie's illusion... and that's where the major issue started coming into play. [kai learned]
All the students had already paired up, which left him as the odd one out. Naturally this would pose a serious roadblock when dealing with a cooperative jutsu. Wren frantically looked around the room, hoping to find a solo student, but it was to no avail. The only possible reprieve he found was in a pair of students that were about to combo their kai jutsu. Suddenly, they began to count down. 3... Wren dashed over towards the pair. 2... He frantically stopped beside both of them, placing his hands on their shoulders. 1... Wren surged his chakra alongside them, shutting his eyes tightly as he did. After a few seconds, Wren opened his eyes to see Chie as her normal self. It had worked... [korabo learned]
A large grin grew across Wren's face as the boy took a moment to reflect on his progress; maybe he was cut out for this ninja thing after all! The feeling of triumph would only last a few fleeting seconds, however, as he snapped back to reality to see the awkward mess he had gotten himself into. The young senju quickly pulled his hands back from the pair and began to babble, trying his best to get an apology for interrupting their training. "I'm sorry... please dont be mad, its just you were the only two left and i thought oh man i've really messed this up now i've ruined your training and you probably think i'm insane oh man this is the worst im the worst im sorry im sorry im sorry!"
Chie was not having a good day. The first thing which irked her was the fact that her student was flirting with her. Chie blushed wildly as she thought how disgusting it was to be hit on by her own student. It did not matter if they were close in age, so much as it was a sin for a teacher to ever think that way about their students. Furthermore, her fluster became frustration when the boy used a sword technique to slice her chair in half. All of this, however, she was willing to tolerate. After all, the two did together manage to learn and utilize the korabo technique. As a teacher, it was her duty to put aside her own feelings for the betterment of her students.
And then the boy came back.
Chie's eyes widened as she heard the news. A rogue tried to recruit him. She knew who it was, and how much it pained her to know that truth. Takumi tried to sneak in and steal her students. It was war now. Chie was in a daze of her own fury when Wren approached her. She looked at the stumbling student, then at the teenage boy, and then at the other two ninja."Little one, you are in no trouble." She said through gritted teeth. She had such bigger fish to fry. "You four find the Uzukage and report to her that at least two rogues have left the village. The descriptions are a thin woman with long blue hair and wears navy blue, and a blond man in his mid twenties who has blond hair and dresses in a kimono. Report directly to her and alert her that they have tried to corrupt academy students." Chie did not bother to look back at her students as she left the classroom. She had to take care of business.

Everything seemed to happen so quickly, at least to Sumiko. Just as she and Koutetsu were about to break then genjutsu placed on them, a third student almost crashed into her and grasped her shoulder, causing her to adjust her own chakra at the last second to ensure the jutsu didn't mess up. The moment Sumiko noticed that Chie was back to normal, she spun, raising her fist at Wren. "Lemme know why I shouldn't practice some Taijutsu on you. How about you ask before trying to grab onto my shoulders. Not too keen on the touchy feely." Slowly, Sumiko lowered her fist and her scowl turned back into her usual lazy look. "I should at least know your name before I pulp your face. My name's Sumiko, you can put it on your hospital bills."
Sumiko's attention quickly shifted from Wren when Shinsei came back into the room and appeared to whisper something to Chie. A visible look of what appeared to be pain and shock, as her eyes grew wide. And now she wanted them to all run for the Kage and tell her what was happening. They were even real shinobi and now they had to run and save the village? If she had known that all of this trouble would happen today, she probably wouldn't have gotten out of bed. This was going to get real annoying real fast. Tattekuso. Looks like its a trail by fire then. This will make for one hell of a graduation. Sumiko nodded to Chie and turned to the other three students. "Listen up fuzzknuckles, since two of you don't seem old enough to grow peach fuzz on your chins and the other one of you almost got recruited by a bunch of murderers, I'm in charge here. I don't wanna be in charge, but tattekuso." She turned from them and began to walk towards the door before stopping and looking over her shoulder at thelm. "Oh, does anyone have a better plan? I don't care if you do, but you can try to object. And with that sorted, let's go. And one last thing, you can hold hands if it helps us stick together as a group." Koutetsu was about to ask for his name when the sound of footsteps reached his ears, as another young boy ran in. Listening into the conversation, he was shocked to hear that there were Rogue ninja in the village and that they were even remotely nearby. "You four find the Uzukage and report to her that at least two rogues have left the village. Report directly to her and alert her that they have tried to corrupt academy students." Sensei said, as she left with speed that almost left Koutetsu winded at the thought. "Hai, Sensei", Koutetsu said running the details through his head. Thin, blue hair, female,blue. Blonde, Male, Kimono. Thin, blue hair, female, blue. Blonde, Male, Kimono... his thoughts were brutally interrupted by his fiery training partner declaring her leadership. Knowing that time was of the essence in emergencies, Koutetsu didn't bother to object, "Central Administration building then. If I remember right, the Uzukage's office should be at the top," He said adding what he remembered from a previous lesson on important buildings in the village. Koutetsu headed out the door, just behind Sumiko. Sticking his head back in to the room to look a the other two, "Time to be ninja, let's go!"

Chie was visibly concerned, and perhaps even angry. Shinsei knew that Takumi was her brother -- he said as much. Perhaps to learn of such a betrayal was upsetting for her, though that was only all the more reason to report it. To betray a family member was wrong. Takumi might not have seen it as such, but . . . Chie valued her profession, and her students. To watch them be 'corrupted', as she called it, was upsetting. She would not stand for it.
And Shinsei . . . had done his duty. As a student, as a s**t-stirrer, as someone who held strong distaste for inter-familial betrayal. Even though Falsa's whole existence had been one colossal middle finger to him, he continued to love her and advocate for her interests. Anything else was . . . somehow inconceivable to him. Even with his rather grey morality and apathetic outlook, there were still some things that impassioned the Senju. Evidently.
Of course, he also enjoyed bringing down a man like that. He wanted to recruit him, but wouldn't indulge his rebuttals. He offered him a place in his organization, but displayed truly no time or effort into guiding him into that spot. He had already demonstrated himself poorly to the shinobi, who - more than anything - enjoyed disassembling weaker things, drawing what limited strengths their legacies had to offer, and destroying the rest.
"Understood," he said. The student immediately turned to the exit of the room, listening quietly to the fairly . . . crass Uzumaki before stoically following her forward, towards the Uzukage's office or... wherever she was. It would be interesting to finally meet her. The person that led this humble refuge for all too many survivors. [7]

At the news of having Mayume be her sparring partner, Emiko could feel her heart began to sink into the floor. They had been through a good amount of things and now they were just about to fight? What a cruel world this was! She looked at her friend for a moment before frowning. "B-But I don't wanna fight you..." She said to Mayume truthfully. Even though they had truly interacted for a few minutes and known each other for many more it still felt wrong to just hurt her like this. Mayume on the other hand, looked excited about such a fight. She even made a dare that whoever was last in a race to the dojo would be forced to buy ice cream. She floundered about while the two took off and then made her own way to the dojo.
Hearing their instructor tell them that they were moving onto the next set of lessons, Yoshiro heeded her instructions and began making his way back to the dojo. While he was looking forward to getting a chance to spar, he was a bit confused by her choice to write the word "RIVALS" on the board. He was familiar with the concept, as rivalries were very common among the members of his clan, but he didn't really see how it applied to him and the old guy she'd paired him with. Surely, she didn't intend for the two of them to be rivals, right? They had only just met and rivalries were something to be forged so it seemed far too soon to be using that term.
It was tempting to race off to the dojo at full speed, having been issued a challenge by one of the girls to see who among them could make it there first. Before recklessly charging out of the building, he had a small pit stop to make. He was still somewhat bewildered by the concept of fire release techniques and wanted to check out a scroll on the subject from the school's library. Once he had taken care of this small matter though, he was able to set his sights on the dojo, bursting forth from the building in a sprint as he made a beeline for the dojo. Wren was just about to address his new group, the irritable girl and saint by comparison boy, when he received orders from Chie to head to the office. Not wanting to cause anymore trouble, Wren thought it best to just shut his yap and go along with the group.
Chie returned to the academy. She was surprised to see that her clone was talking to some girl. Shouldn't it have poofed when she left? It didn't matter really, as she had training to do. Once she did her training she returned to her academy. She was then sure that she was ready should her brother return.
While at the academy Chie practiced her deep meditation. While in meditation she learned read and learned the basic genjutsu of thunder voice and all directions. Her meditation extended as she learned how to make the demonic illusion: Butterfly evolution. She liked this genjutsu. It seemed familiar to her. This learning through reading was essential to her meditation.
Chieβs meditation extended as she learned more genjutsu. It only took her a few moments to learn how the Journey to the Black Darkness worked. Chie also learned how to break out of a genjutsu while throwing the opponent into one through the use of Kurenaiβs Flower Petal Escape. Finally, Chie learned how to cast the widespread sleep genjutsu known as Nirvana. This reading of genjutsu allowed her to better properly meditate her chakra.
Chie decided that she needed to learn some non-elemental techniques yet. She started with the C-ranked techniques, reading how to perform the empty cicada technique and the conch whip. Then she read some B-ranked ninjutsu and learned the Underworld Guardian Spikes and the Four Violet Flames Battle formation. This was followed by the A-ranked ninjutsu where she learned the time regression technique and the shuriken shadow clone jutsu. Finally, in the highly coveted S-ranked section, Chie learned the art of the Big Ball Spiral, as well as the Mandala Box technique. Also Chie took a second to learn some sealing as she figured out the generic sealing and unsealing tech to an S-ranked potential. All of this helped tremendously with her meditation.
Lightning was her next element as she learned from the C-ranked section via reading the blade technique and earth flash skill. From the B-ranked section she learned the electric snake technique and the call of lightning. From the A-ranked section she learned Static Disruption, Lightning Elemental Shadow Clone Jutsu, and finally the Thunder Clap. Finally, from the lightning section Chie learned the Lightning armor and the four pillar binding. All of this was vital to her meditation.
Next came water as Chie read from the C-ranked section how to perform both the stormy upheaval and the wave water hand. Chie then learned from the B-ranked section the Water Encampment Wall and the Complete Body Disappearance technique. From the A-ranked section Chie learned how to perform the Water Torrent, the Grand Waterfall Skill, and the Sky and Water Convergence technique. Finally, from the S-ranked list Chie learned how to perform the great typhoon technique, as well as the water collision skill. Chie also took this time to master her secret art of ninja premonitions. All of this was vital to her meditation.
Wind was the next element Chie read as from the C-ranked listing she read how to perform both the low and high air pressure techniques. Chie then learned from the B-ranked section the Dust Cloud and the Flowing Wind Fist skills. From the A-ranked section Chie learned how to perform the Wind Cutter and Chaos Theory. Finally, from the S-ranked section Chie learned how to create the great falcon blast, as well as the orb of the storm. Chie also took a moment to learn how to effectively learn her secret technique of Parastatis. All of this was essential to her meditation of chakra molding.
From the earth scroll Chie read and learned the C-ranked techniques of the Ant-Lion technique and the mud river. From the B-ranked section Chie learned the Ten Thousand Ri Earth Style Wall and the Earth Dome Prison. From the A-ranked section of the scroll Chie learned the Covering Lid and also the Earth Dome Prison. Finally, from the S-ranked section Chie learned the Tsunami technique and the Earth Dragon Head. Chie also took this moment to train up her Korabo to the highest potential she could. This truly helped with her meditation.
Fire was the last element as Chie picked up the scroll and read from it how to perform the C-ranked techniques of Flame Whirlwind and Flame Sphere. From the B-ranked section Chie learned the ninja arts of Hellfire Whirlwind Strike and also Pillar of Fire. Also the A-ranked skills Chie learned the Piercing Hell Strike and the Dragon Flame Release Song. Finally, in the S-ranked section she learned the fierce flame fist and also the Fire Release: Demon Lanterns. She also took this moment to re-learn her ninjutsu alchemy secret technique. All of this allowed her to truly complete her meditation.

The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. This means that if Chie's Korabo level is A-ranked then it can only be used at a B-ranked potential, which means that Chie can only Korabo two B-ranked techniques to use the korabo skill at A-ranked. This assures that this benefit does not allow the user to passively perform techniques one rank higher than they can usually. Second of all, this technique only applies when Chie korabo's with herself. If she korabos with an ally or a clone then this benefit is non-applicable. Finally, an additional charge of 10 chakra per rank of the final product technique is required to be paid. So if the user Korabo two B-ranked techniques, (the user must also pay for each individual skill), then the final technique would be an A-ranked skill, and thus would cost 50 more chakra to perform this way. Shinsei returned to the Academy, hopefully alongside the others. Stepping into the building, he pursued the corridors down to the open hallway, leading into several other classrooms. He had not forgotten the one where Chie remained, and eagerly stepped into the rather despondent classroom - now few in remaining students - with the report on his and the others' mission. The four of them had been sent off to relay information to the Uzukage, and they had succeeded.
"Chie-shinsei," he called out to her. "We reported to the Uzukage, and gave her significant information. She will be following up with our intel and 'swiftly dealing' with the rogues, should they be found in Uzushiogakure or the Land of Eddies. I believe we have done a satisfactory job," he said, bowing slightly to his teacher.
"Is there anything else you'd like us to do in regards to this mission, sensei?" He could only ask. [2]
Chie sat at her desk as Shinsei approached. She was relieved that her students were so diligent. They were to make excellent ninja. "Now that the crisis has been dealt with, it's time to get you guys back to becoming proper shinobi." Chie said. Her hands folded into one another as she looked at the boy. "Find someone to call your rival and spar them. You were there for my initial lesson, so don't come back until you prove your worth and at least master the basics of formless combat." Chie said sternly. She loved her kids, but she had to be a firm voice in order to make sure her students did the right thing.

Sumiko had followed right beyond Shinsei and had totally been in the room the entire time when Chie told him to go learn the basics of formless combat. She sighed to herself as she thought about there was truly no rest for the wicked, or at least in her case, the beautiful. She stepped forward and wrapped an arm around Shinsei's shoulder. "C'mon rival," she said, pulling him towards the door. "We've got lots of fun training to work on." She waved to Chie as they appeared to leave the building.
In reality, once they were clear of the classroom, Sumiko pulled Shinsei into another empty classroom before getting real close to his face. "What's this Gimangakure place? And the Kogorashi Institute? I don't think you were telling us everything back there. Anything else you kept to yourself? If we're gonna do this ninja thing, we gotta have full trust."

Still though, something about that blue hair. Chie appeared to ignore the boy's request for ninjutsu training as she stayed silent. Lightning flashed behind her eyes as she then slammed her hand on her desk.
"Now I remember you! You're the brat who broke one of my desk in half." Chie said as she stood up and pointed in accusation at Koutetsu as Sumiko dragged Shinsei away. She stood up as her eyes turned to the desk which was cut in two. "Each desk cost two thousand ryo! I'm going to have one hell of a day explaining to the director of budgeting this ordeal." She stated with her arms folded. As Wren approached the classroom, Chie looked at the small boy and then at the teenager. "That's it! Before you get anymore training, you will have detention for two thousand days straight." She said with gusto as she continued to point at Koutetsu. She then pointed to Wren as she added, "And to make sure you serve your sentence, this child will monitor you under my orders. This means that if you get into even more trouble then he will report to me, and then I will bring out the rulers." She said, although she was partially kidding. She didn't believe in corporal punishment. She did, however, have an alternate plan to her usual three step strategy that she wanted to enact. In short, the small kid worried her in terms of his ninja potential, so she hoped giving him a simple task to take pride in would increase his confidence.
