Who is Wishing?: A Soquili Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: The kalona let out a long exasperated sigh, the only reason she was here was because her brother thought she needed a companion to help her feel less crazy. "I'm a driven mare, only those with power and perfection are worthy of my attention. I like the beautiful things in life.." she waved a wing dismissively "so on and so forth." She eyed the bright white star, with her own glowing eyes. "Not that your even listening huh.." with a slight huff and growl she walked away.

She stopped for a moment, and with a small sigh carefully unwound the rose from her neck telling herself it would die soon and she'd have to replace it anyway. Carefully she laid the flower and it's long thorny vine down on th eoffering rock and walked away muttering to herself.

A small rose from Amalthea's mane and an orchid from Maesyn's tail. Short IC Response: Amalthea had heard of the gifts of the wishing star, but had never thought herself worthy of them, even now as the ache and hurt from her recent loss ate away at her, reminding her of her unworth. She kept close to Maesyn's side, still broken as she nuzzled up close to him. "I really hope this works.." She said softly. Her heart ached with hope.
Maesyn looked at Amalthea and broke his heart to see her like this. He knew that she partially blamed herself for the loss of their unborn foals in the attack and he wished he could just convince her that she was not to blame for what had happened. She didn't even know she was with foal when she had left. Though he was also mourning their loss, what he wished for most of all was to help her heal. He looked up at the bright star ahead of them and then back at Amalthea and nuzzled her gently with a soft smile to comfort her. "Me too my love, me too.. " He looked back at the star unsure of what he would do if it didn't work. He knew that if it didn't work it would hurt her more, the thought of which he couldn't bear..
His words comforted her greatly, she wished she had known before, wish things had been different but Maesyn had been strong, and she felt her heart swell with love for him. He was beyond words, she nuzzled him lovingly in return as she smiled softly at him, but looking up to the brightest star. "We'll just keep trying.." She said with a soft nod, those beautiful lives that had been stolen from them, would feel the warmth of their love one day.
As they reached the top of the hill and stood below the star, Maesyn paused for a moment to search for the right words. How do you even find the words for such an important wish? He looked at Amalthea to help him find his words. After a brief moment he cleared his throat and looked back at the star. "Oh great star, we come to you in hope that you can help us through these difficult times." He paused again, not wanting to say out loud what they had been through as it was too painful for both of them. Maybe he didn't have to tell the star, if it is as magical as they say then perhaps it already knows..
She couldnt bring herself to speak of their loss, instead she gazed intently at the star, she hoped, no she prayed that the star could see their loss. "And take our offerings as a token of our belief." She continued softly, "Maesyn, will you?" She turned her head, exposing the miniature tea roses in her mane. She grew them herself and loved them, growing her roses had kept her sane when she first found herself free. She had no second thought about offering them now.
Maesyn smiled and gently grasped one of the roses with his mouth, removing it from her beautiful mane and places it softly on the ground. He then grabbed one of his own flowers from his tail. The flowers reminded him of his home before he came here as well as family, both his sister's also carried these types of flowers with them. He gently laid his flower next to hers and looked up at the star. "Please grant the wish we hold on our hearts.." He looked back at Amalthea and nuzzled her softly before gently nudging her to help guide her so they could start their journey home.

How did she appeal to the star? What could she possibly say to justify her want of a life to call her own. To call their own? What poetry or entreat would sway the heart of the rare and beautiful star to give her something she had no right to ask for? There wa power in the sky tonight. And mercy. And it left Emiko's throat dry and her eyes hot with tears. The only word that came to her lips fell off of them and hit the ground like broken glass.

Morrow, the protector of my forest... self-proclaimed, I suppose." ... *Lowers his head to snort at his kodama friends, but sighs when they offer no support... not that he expected any, really.* "I am... a soul that prefers the company of animals and spirits to others of my kind, although I have been called 'gentle' by some, 'monster' by others- I deplore violence, but I can be rather fierce when protecting those I care for." *Turns his head again towards his small tree spirit friends, then towards the treeline that is home to most of his wildlife companions.* "Those who reside in this forest are under my protection, and I will certainly wear the title 'monster' willingly if any seek to harm them."

Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Rumi hails from the mountains & deep snow where he has joined the Snaerblod Tribe as a Karl. His days are spent gathering useful supplies and growing a special glowing moss which is used to light up dangerous pathways / deep tunnels within the herds mountain home. While he's glad to have found a herd and a job that suits him.. the stallion has yet to settle down. Plus he still hasn't made many friends within the growing group; which makes the days seem so very long..the nights cold. It has gotten rather depressing, so he wishes to find a friend that can handle the cold, icy mountain..someone who will join the herd so they can always be together!

Short IC Response: Lassarium approached the place of the wishing star slowly, he was unsure of why he was there to be honest but something inside him had driven him there. " So I'm not exactly sure why I'm here, I thought about coming to ask for a friend but to be honest part of me thinks that's not enough. I'm not really sure I want a kid but I do know I want something, some one to be close to, to share my believes and love with. I... My family and I worship the moon and well the night in general but you came from up there so you probably know all this. To be honest most of the time I can't focus on much beyond the worshiping, that unless it's family. Family is the only other really important thing to me. I'm constantly seemly stuck and struggling between the intense desire to bring joy and the maddening need to bring misery. To those around me. Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Breed (first choice): Angeni Breed (2nd choice, must be mini, common, or uncommon): Unicorn What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A stand of beads from her own clothing, as they seem to shine so wonderfully. Short IC Response:Walking up to the temple she paused, collected herself, and pressed forward as she turned her head round to grasp at a strand of beads which decorated her form. Glowing gently with some sort of light she hoped they might please someone, might help in bringing a lost sister home. Holding the strand in her mouth she placed them onto the ground in offering.
"Please, my brother and I...we haven't seen our elder sister in many years. We miss her greatly and wish for her return to us." She had gone out one cold night and not returned. To where she had been going, they could only guess a simple walk, but wheres he wound up they were clueless. "We wish for our expanding family to be whole again." They had looked up to their elder sister as children, it wasn't just because she was older, she was special to them.

It'd be so long since she saw her Brother so she can't remember much about him, other then, he always loved to play in the snow no matter how cold it was.

All these people with such great friends and I would love to have a friend. Someone who won't try to kill me and is willing to be friends. I really love the stars and hope they will be kind to me this year. This wishing seems so grant and I love to day dream and dream so wishing is perfect for me.
