Sai blushes even more and wipes at her face with little success in removing all the bread from her features. Her tail twitching as she does so and her ears back a little with her attention on the food remains. The neko not really noticing the harpy's interest in her tail.

The harpy finally manages to pry his attention away from her tail, hopefully for good this time. He still smiles at the girls cuteness, and damn, those ears are begging to be scratched. The thought makes him blush again, but he ignores it. "Well uh... Have you thought about whether you're going to go on the mission with us?"

Sai manages to get the crumbs to fall from her face before she focuses on Laz again, twitching an ear in a bit of response as her tail swoops up. "Well, I'm not much help with well...battling....and stuff....but I can help if anyone gets hurt so I'd like to go along...my sister can stay here.." She smiles happily and blushes a little.

Lazarus tilts his head slightly, intrigued. "Really? You can heal? With magic or conventional means?" He glances at her tail and ears, still in awe of their epicness.

Sai smiles and blushes a little more, her tail swishing upward a little as her ears twitch. "B-both really. I know a little magic and inherited the ability to learn..." The neko tilted her head nervously, wondering about the harpy as he stared at her furry cat-like areas.

Lazarus nods thoughtfully and smiles. "That will be very helpful. Nick and Mathias can manipulate elemental energies, but don't seem to have the capacity for any other magic... I don't have any besides my natural gifts, eheh.." He laughs a bit awkwardly, then looks back to Sai. "So having a support mage will really help us... And uhm... May I just say... Your extra 'enhancements' are... Rather adorable..."

Sai smiles happily and nods, she is glad she'll be helpful and useful. When Laz comments on her ears and tail, she blushes deeper and looks away shyly. "Y-you can touch them if you want...I don't mind...I-I'm sure you're not going to pull my ears or tail like Ranko did when she was little.." The neko looked at the harpy through her blush.

Laz blushes even more at Sai's boldness and shakes his head nervously. "I-I wouldn't do that... That would be impetuous and... Pretty awkward considering we just met..." He looks to the side to avoid her gaze, hoping he didn't offend her by saying no.

Sai blinks and lets her ears go back a little, her tail showing her slight disappointment by swishing lower to the ground. "It's alright...but if you ever want to or feel like it.....I-I don't mind..." The cute neko looked at Laz with innocent shyness as she spoke honestly.

Still blushing, he considers offering to let her touch his wings, but he still thinks that would be rather impulsive and awkward. "So... why don't we, uh... Start packing for tomorrow? We can talk and get to know each other while we work I guess..."

Sai nodded a little and looked away towards where Ranko went in their room and sighed. "Alright then. I'll tell Ranko about the plan later. So, we should start then." She smiled at Laz and twitched her ears and tail.

Lazarus nods and motions back towards the trapdoor. "So I guess I'll climb down there and hand you stuff to pack. I'll give you the backpacks first." Lazarus does as he suggested and starts passing up the backpacks, one for each person who would be coming.

Sai nods and takes the backpacks one by one and set them down to free her hands again. Her ears back with concentration. Her tail flicking side to side with the focus.

"Put all these into the green bag. That one's mine." He then passes up rolls of sniper rifle ammunition, along with some bread and canteens of water.

Sai nods and proceeds to pack the supplies efficiently into the bag. Making sure to fit it all carefully, her tail swishing across the floor as she concentrates on the task.
