Thinking about who might end up being on the team, Verin follows him into the school, heading towards his classroom. The last remark annoyed Verin, who hoped to have insane people like him in the group. Things around here are starting to get interesting. Looking over at his dog following him, Verin tells him,"Head to my dorm, wait there until further instruction. Or from father, either or."

(Didn't get the notice for some reason. Sorry about that.)

After wandering through the halls, Verin finds one of the entrances to the courtyard. Opening the door, he walks through and takes a step outside, waiting for Jackie. Looking through the courtyard, Verin notices that it was empty at the moment. This was good, after all, the power in his arm was building up. Got a good idea on what she's going to ask. Just pray it's not... that. Verin sighed, staring at his feet for a moment before looking back up. The tattoo on his left arm pulsed again, giving Verin another annoyance. Need to offload some of the excess later..."

Jackie Walked into the court yard after Verin, just in time to see his tattoo pulse again. Jackie, get away from him... He is dangerous. Yamma growled in Jackie's head. Yamma come here, Raion will leave, since he is taking a nap any way, and you can keep an eye on me that way OK? Good Raion go. Raion quickly jumped up and streached "All right, all right..." the lion cub said as he streached out then climbed out of Jackie's hoody. As soon as he did there was a dark blurr behind Jackie, and Yamma appeared protectively behind Jackie in his true for. "Hello demon Verin, I am Yamma. Nice to meet you." Yamma growled out loud, now able to speak English in his true form. Jackie shot Verin an appologetic glace, but said nothing.

Verin turned to face Jackie as he saw the lion cub jump out of her hood. He watched as a form grew behind her, calmly observing it. The shadow soon took a shape, in the form of a large wolf. "Well well, you must be her wolf friend. Now would you be a demon wolf, werewolf, or something else altogether?" Verin looked over at Jackie, taking note of the expression on her face. "That aside, a pleasure to meet you as well. Now, would there be a reason of you coming out? It wouldn't be this would it?" Verin raised his left arm horizontally as he pulls back the sleeve, the tattoo clearly visible. At that moment, the runes glowed again, a dark red glow surrounding the outline.

Yamma growled at the glowing but staid behind Jackie, making it clear that his main objective was to protect her. "Are you looking for a fight demon Verin?" Jackie frowned slightly at the question "We all friends here, aren't we Verin?" Jackie had a bad feeling that Verin would say other wise, he was a demon after all, but it would be Yamma who cared more about his answer than she did. Yamma completely ignored Jackie's question, doubting the demon would agree "What is your purpos? What do you want demon Verin?" Yamma growled, his voice was deep, unearthly deep, but Jackie seemed unfazed by it.

Verin revealed a toothy grin, as he put his sleeve back over his arm covering the tattoo. "No, no combat. Not on the school grounds anyway. Too many... variables." Verin's eyes paled slightly, the redness in his eyes dimming. Moving his gaze from the wolf to Jackie, he said, "Yes, yes we are. And I believe you have a few questions to ask me, no? Or have they been answered already." Verin couldn't help but laughing at the wolf's last question. He arched his back, and his eyes met with the wolf. "What do I desire? There are quite a few things that I would like to have. But there is something you can help me with... if you so choose."

Yamma growled at Verin again "That depends, what desire... What is it you want me to... help you with demon Verin? I will do nothing without Jackie's consent" Jackie stood there quietly, he leaned back relaxing in Yamma's soft pelt, she knew Yamma was only tolerating Verin for her sake. Yamma was also only asking questions to quench her constant curiousity. For now Yamma was completely under control, and Jackie had nothing to worry about. Jackie figured now would not be the wisest of time to ask questions, they could wait 'till later when Yamma wasn't so angry and ready to rip Verin's limbs off if need be.

The devilish grin returned to Verin's face, the gears in his head were turning again. He pulled out the blade part of his scythe and held it in his left hand. "Just a little test, I'm sure that neither of you would be injured by it. It'll even benefit me a little." Within the blade of the scythe, was a low wailing sound, one that only Verin could hear. On the blade itself, were swirling blue images, some resembling the faces of those it reaped. "Now, would you like to help me out, hmm Jackie?" Verin looked at her, trying to get an answer from her instead of the wolf. Closing his left eye, he reopens it revealing a changed pupil one resembling a vortex. Now, let's see if if she'll accept.

Yamma growled even louder now "No! She dose not! I'm not an idiot to let her to!" Yamma growled even louder. Jackie stood there quietly, looking up at Yamma, her face showing no emotion now. "What happened to no fighting on campus?! Besides, if that thing is what I think it is then you better be careful demon Verin." Yamma's growl got louder, his voice gott even deeper now sounding more demonic then earlier, and his eyes turned into a bright glowing red, but still Jackie said nothing and her face remained emotionless.

Verin let out a sigh, the vortex in his left eye swirling back to normal. He looked displeased, but otherwise nothing else concerned him. "If I'm right in what you're thinking, the blade is not used to cut, not the way I was going to use it anyway. Just a little summoning." Putting the scythe back in his pocket, Verin walked over towards the tree he was sleeping under earlier. Looking to the side, he sees a slightly singed spot where he performed his little ritual. Turning back to Jackie and the wolf, Verin says, "The test would be performed somewhere else, not on school grounds. I'd rather not talk too much about it, they've got eyes and ears here."

Jackie smiled slightly as the deep glow in Yamma's eyes returned back to normal, she wouldn't have minded accepting the challenge, but she knew she would have to stop Yamma from killing Verin. She sighed at Verin's apparent displeasure "Sorry, but that probably isn't the best of idea any where." From the look on Yamma's still snarling face, it was clear that Jackie would not partake in this "test" untill he was dead. Jackie was slightly displeased as well now, what else was there to do, everyone else was on vacation.

Verin noticed that Jackie's wolf appeared to have calmed down as his offer was withdrawn. He cursed under his breath, since he would probably have to do it some other time, away from the wolf. Let's see, everyone in the school is busy, so how am I supposed to do this... Verin locked eyes with Jackie for a split-second, taking note of the displeasure on her face. It would seem as though she wouldn't mind taking part in this test, however the dog wouldn't allow her. "Well then, you have a few questions to ask me don't you? I'll answer what I can." Verin sat down on a bench nearby, and motioned Jackie to sit with him. No sense in standing, might as well take a seat.

Jackie took a step foreword but when she heard a quiet growl from Yamma she stoped and gave Verin another appologetic glace. "Well, I do have plenty of questions, but I do not want to make you uncomfortable..." it took a lot out of Jackie not to flood him with questions, but she some how managed not to. Yamma and Jackie both remained quiet as they awaited Verin's response. (Ooc: sorry for the extremely late post sweatdrop )

Verin made an exaggerated sad face when Jackie decided to stand instead. Pricking his ears, Verin barely hears a low growl, the now familiar sound of her pet wolf. Disapproval of the wolf. I guess it can't be helped. Getting up off the bench, Verin gets up to stretch. "Don't worry about it, besides it may even put 'him' at ease. So many questions to ask; power, history, lineage... Even a little Latin or Rhefugi." Verin regretted what he said about the lineage part, something he should have avoided. He closed his eyes and let out a sigh. Well, I guess it wouldn't be too bad. Verin motioned for Jackie and her wolf to take a walk with him.

Jackie quickly fell in step with Verin, glad that she wouldn't have to make him uncomfortable by her standing and him sitting. Yamma let out one more low growl of disproval but followed closely behind Jackie. "Well... Ok I guess... I'll try not to bombard you." She took a few moments after that to think of the most efficient questions to ask and desided on a few, but would only ask one at a time so she wouldn't overload him. "Well... I guess the thing I am most curious about is that glowing power enhancer of yours." She pointed to the tattoo on his arm "Mind filling me in?" The archer continued to smile lightly as they walked, glad that Yamma had only realesed a few growls since they began walking.
