Cael smiled brightly as he brushed off the accident. If he didn't mind it she wouldn't either. She tilted her head and listened to the beat of the song for a moment before nodding enthusiastically. "Sure. That sounds fun."

With a frown Del looked at the tree yet again. It was smaller than he had first thought. Oh well. As long as it was pretty no one should mind.

"It's that love stuff that is missing. Who cares." She packs it up in bone ties.
Then heads off to the party.
Aww! How sad! Your treat fell on the floor and can not be eaten! have to start over.
Such a waste of good munchies!

"Me nervous? Nahhhh? Hyacinth gave her a reassuring grin. "We could give it a try!" He wasn't that interested in the contest himself but they were dancing anyways and she seemed to really want to do it. It wouldn't hurt and hey you never know! they might just win it!

Chrys caught them looking at him and grinned. As he drew near his fingers rilled across the strings and went into a song. His baritone voice sang out the first verse with a bit of a laugh
~A gypsy rover came over the hill
Down through the valley so shady.
He whistled and he sang 'til the green woods rang
And he won the heart of a lady.~

Looked at his hands as he played. The song was celtic, and his voice was smooth and it flowed over her fur like silk, giving her goosebumps under her fur. She averted her violet gaze shyly, not sure what to do or say. She looked at the floor, her pale hair falling to create a curtain over her face. She sipped from her punch glass and tried to distract herself with something besides the still nearing stallion. He was handsome, and he almost seemed to emanate confidence, which was something she very much lacked.

Looked up at the male when his fingers started to dance. He knew that tune... from when he was littler. He remembered his mum singing it before she had put him up for adoption. His eyes widened as the male began to sing, and he returned in a young tenor,
"Ah dee doo ah dee doo da day, ah dee doo ah dee day dee
He whistled and he sang til the green woods rang
And he won the heart of a lady..."

He stepped up closer to the male with a bright grin, blue eyes shining with admiration."My mom used to sing that song to me when I was a baby!"he told the stallion.

((Oh Lord I love what you did there! SO Perfect! I just died laughing))

Chrys swaggered a bit, seeing the lady act so coyly. He loved playing to this type. Their reactions were so honest. It was almost addicting. His gaze returned to the child as his voice rang out pure and strong. He switched to a harmony, letting the child take the melody of the chorus. The kid had a natural talent. Chrys thanked his lucky stars for the talent of dissembling. His calm demeanor hid his inner turmoil. All signs were pointing to this kid being his. He looked way too simiar, he could SING and if Chrys was any judge, he looked to be about the right age...if he was the child of who Chrys suspected he was. Now was not the time to voice his supicions though.

"She did, did she? Well you certainly do her proud singing it so grandly! What is your name lad if I may ask?" Chrys knelt down to the kids level, giving his mother a smile as he did so.

A young voice reached her ears and they tipped towards her son. Her head inevitably followed, violet eyes falling on the young colt. He had a voice on him. She knew, of course, having heard him singing in the bath. She couldn't help but smile at him as he turned to look at her briefly, as if afraid mentioning his mother might upset her, but when he saw the love in her eyes and the warmth of her smile he was reassured and was soon again enamored with the stallion's voice, and she could not deny that she too found it pleasant to her ears. She listened unconsciously and her gaze on her son, trying to read the stallion, who seemed so... interested. He seemed to be deep in thought, even while he spoke to the boy, and she couldn't help but wonder why...

Thrilled was the only word to describe how Hawke felt when the male sang with him. His mother seemed happy that he was talking to someone, so he felt no worry, speaking to this stallion. When the male told him his mother would be proud, for a moment he wondered if it was true... He looked up at the purple man and when he asked for his name Hawke hastily held out a hand, "Hawkins Alexandre, but you can call me Hawke." he beamed.

Duo hummed to himself as he trotted through the forest, examining each tree with a critical eye. Behind him Izzabella rolled her eyes at how uncharacteristically serious he was being about finding the 'perfect' tree. "Come on Duo, it's only a tree. I mean I doubt you'll be seeing much of the branches after it's been decorated." She said, running a hand through her hair. She yelped as she stepped in a soft patch of snow and sank down into the white fluff. Grumbling the crimson and black mare pulled herself out of the small hole and grabbed onto a tree when she stumbled.

"Hey, you okay?" Duo asked, appearing by her side as if by magic. "You gotta-" He cut himself off and stared at the tree she was holding onto. "You did it baby! This is a perfect tree!"

Torm wanted to say he was utterly bored by the flashing lights and music and all the pretty Mearh's dancing and singing, but he couldn't. When Lilium brought him with her to the party he thought it would be a grown ups type of party where he'd have to be on his best behavior. Blah blah blah, don't do this don't do that... But it wasn't. There wasn't any reason for him to get into mischief with so much to do.

He'd tried his turn at dancing with Lilium, went outside to play in the snow, came back in and stuffed himself. Now he was drowsy and happy and just content to watch everyone. A woman with two sets of wings and the most prettiest coloring caught his eyes as he looked over the table. She was sitting by herself with empty seats all around her. To Torm she looked lonely and lonely equaled sad.

The orange and green pony heaved himself up, looking much like a rolly bug with his full tummy and made his way over to her. "Hi Pretty Lady!" He crowed, climbing up onto the seat next to her, eyes wide with mirth. "Why are you all by yourself? Lilium always tell me that at parties you aren't supposed to be by yourself." He kicked his feet back and forth, as the chair was too tall for him to reach the ground.

Chrys raised an eyebrow at the boys name. He took the boy's hand and gave it a firm shake. Alexandre... was not an uncommon last name. Maybe it was the name of the young woman behind him. "Hawke then! And who is this charming woman behind you? Your date?" He grinned at the jest, hoping it would get a good reaction from the boy and his mother. It was obvious that the woman loved him deeply. You could tell just by the way she watched him sing and the little glances they shared between eachother.

Milie walked into the room fiddling with her hair, looking around. What a pretty place. she thought. She looked for a tree and hadn't seen one. "Maybe I should go find one.." she said going out to look for a tree.

Mint wandered through the soft, and cold, snow. She giggled as puffs went up in front of her. It was funny stuff. There hadn’t been much taste when she’d tried it, but it melted and tasted like water. Mint hadn’t been able to figure out why something she ate would taste like water. It hadn’t taken her long to forget her question and wander off again. That was when her ears caught a faint tinkling.

Her little green ears wiggled as she looked around for the source. Twinkling lights caught her attention. Mint couldn’t resist the pretties. Green, red, and blue reflected in her gold eyes. “Ahhhh aahhh,” she said as she went closer. There weren’t just lights either! Her eyes took in pretty babbles and ornaments. The sounds she’d heard earlier, and so much more, were coming from the enticingly open door. Mint headed herself inside.

There was so much going on. Mint looked up at all the bigger meara. Through the shifting legs, Mint caught sight of a very pretty mare. Quickly she headed over and cooed up at the mare from by her feet.
Lady Evergreen looked down, a bit surprised to see so young a meara at the party apparently by herself. She smiled at the sweet peg; instinctively reaching down as the little green arms came up.

“What is your name sweetheart? You couldn’t be here alone could you?” Her voice was soft and pleasant. Raising her arms had the mare comply by picking her up. “Mmmmmm,” Mint replied. She liked the sound of her voice. Her gold eyes looked around from her new vantage point. It was as pretty as ever. She giggled happily as the mare jiggled her. A braid swung down by her face. “Oooo Ooooh,” Mint watched it then tried to reach for it. Before she could get it firmly, the braid was delicately pride from her fingers.

The mare gently pulled it out of reach, tossing it back over her shoulder, and smiled. To distract the youngling, Evergreen fluttered her wings a bit. Mint was mesmerized by the fluttering. She cooed, giggled, and mumbled to herself. A faint wind brushed her hair and made her look back. Her little wings gave tiny beats. A delighted sound escaped as she did it again then looked at the mare’s bigger wings. Again the mare fluttered her wings and Mint laughed.

Lady Evergreen chuckled. “You are darling. Lets see about getting you a snack since I’m sure you can’t reach the table on your own.” She headed over to the table, looking for items that a small child could chew on safely. Mint leaned over and helped the mare pick out a couple colorful cookies.

Milie saw the big tree and smiled, loving the big thing. She started to cut it down and it fell on it's side. "Now How will I get this home?" she asked herself, scratching the back of her head, messing up her mane.

It didn't take long and Mint had a yummy cookie for each hand. The mare placed her in an out of the way corner. Content for the moment, she munched on her cookies and watched the other meara walking around.

(Thanks Kraft, I did send the trade there.)

Milie dragged the huge tree home and stood it up, wiping away the little beads of sweat that were starting to emerge on her forehead. She saw a box of Christmas decorations and started making the tree pretty.

After looking at the finished tree , she smiled and thought it looked very pretty. Hearing a fluttering sound, she looked over to see a foal sitting over in a corner all by herself. Milie walked over to the little foal, dodging all the people in the room and finally got to the corner. "Hello there little one." she said kneeling down next to the little winged Mera. "Where're your parents?"
