Amid the conversation, a spy of high enough circumstance to see Damien himself, entered the room with haste. "Grand Absolute Leader." He said kneeling to him. "I've come to bring you some alarming news. It has just been reported that some citizens are rioting in the newly annexed part of the empire."

Damien was very irritated to have his meal interrupted. "Well then, send in some forces and supplies to quell the rebellion. Show now mercy. If they do not stop their acts, they will be executed. Weakness is not to be shown. Do I really need to go over this? You should already know this by now. Go do what I ordered. I hate being interrupted, especially during a meal" he declared. It wasn't the first time there were riots in Diethelm. Damien was known for his brutal reactions to any form of resistance against the government.

((Yeah, maybe. Or maybe Dustin and your character could arrive at the same time.))

"Well, sir, unlike the other times, it's due to a growing..." He paused to try and think of the right words without being offensive, "religious cult, so to speak. They call it a reawakening of holy kingdom, and they are all devout to that new priestess from Mt. Angelo Holy City. We've already sent men to quell the riots, but because it's due to external forces, we need an official warrant to eradicate the problem."

Damien thought that Helmshire and Mt. Angelo had broken religious ties a couple centuries ago due to a difference in belief, but he supposed that there were some groups in the land that still followed that route. "Damn religion. Always trying to con people into false belief" Damien sighed and stood up from the table. "I will return in a moment he said to the others and walked out of the room to head to his office. What timing, really!

The spy followed after Damien to his office in order to give him all of the information. As he walked, he stayed silent out of fear that he might loose his head by upsetting Damien even farther.

Zil held his head and muttered, "You think so? If he weren't a prince, why... I would have chained him up on a post somewhere!" He sighed yet again and said like the grown up he really is inside. "Don't you worry about it. Just perform your duties. Like I mentioned a while ago, I'm going to escort a caravan out of Diethelm this afternoon. Anyway, I have a 95% success rate in 'smuggling cargo' and the tycoons who find out will support us anyway. The trick is to say we're trading slaves or shipping illegal merchandise. That's how we get in and out with ease." He held his head and rolled his fingers on his temples as though dealing with a great amount of stress. "Prince of Helmshire, what am I to do with you?"

Monica saw Damien walk off. It seems she missed her chance but she could come by later anyway. Good news is that he forgot about her not wearing her uniform and just walked off. They were tacky anyway, so she thinks. "Interesting, I'll send the secret police to quell it quickly" She said bringing out her phone. "An excuse to reduce their punishments. I won't give them punishments for a day for every rioter caught." She quickly got to texting the superintendents she trained herself to ready their troops and head for the troubled areas. She chuckled. "Death is such a weak sentence. Why don't we just torture them?" She said before getting up as the other officers stared at her almost worried or sick to their stomachs for the comment. "It's okay. I've already lost my appetite because of the uneducated fool in my field of view" She hinted at Jay whom she glared at before she turned to leave.



((OOC: I notice that I've been using Zil much too often. No helping. Right now, he's my most favorite character in all roleplays gaia-wide and beyond~ Such a fun guy to play! ))

With a resigned sigh Saiyu turned on her heel and doggidly dragged herself back down the street and after the prince. There was no getting past shadow, that was probably the reson she was a high rank then Saiyu.
"bloody idiots going to get me killed, him and his tantrums....when i seem i think i'll break his nose the ungreatfull spod!...after all i'v done for him!"
With little knowledge on where the prince was right now Saiyu decided the only logical thing would to be to keep walking strait down the road she had seen him storm off on. Whilst congratulating herself on a fool proof plan Saiyu didn't knotice until, as always with her, it was to late.
The red headed woman found herself in a large gathering of people, some chattering in groups whilst some others where shoutting at the large croud of people, all of them banding around the same word at one point or another, religion, with a paniced look Saiyu shook her head and attemted to battle her way back out of the croud, where ever the word religion was a violent crack down soon followed and right now she had to think about finding the prince and not getting caught up in a fight that was only going to end in the slaughter of these people "you know what hes not going to have to be afrade of the absolute leader when i find him....'when i get 'outta this i'm gonna put him 6 foot under!".

After a few minutes after Monica had called the superintendents, the secret police arrived at the scene and started beating every shouting citizen of Diethelm who were so much as a meter close to the riot area. They were pretty fast considering normal police officers would take time before getting there. What was anyone to expect? Ms. Monica offered to lessen their punishments a day at the time for every rioter caught. Of course they'd come running!

Zil heard the sounds of screaming and shouting -- an absolute ruckus. "What the-?!!" He got up and opened the window with a definitely surprised look. He stuck his head out of the large window and looked down from there only to see secret police beating on the rioters. "Hey Shadow! Get a load of this." He said, still shocked before a mischievous smile spread across his face. "Religion, huh? Maybe we'll get more forces in the rebel army if we mention support for Mt. Angelo City? No worries, though. Helmshire funds us so we'll all benefit from this." Then, he remembered something grave -- the reason for his worries. "Oh s---! That damned brat!" He said, grabbing Shadow's wrist and saying, "We have to go find him!"

"Sh**!" Shadow thought, then kicked down the wall of weapons again. "Diethelm troops are going to be swarming this place if they haven't already!" She said, tossing him two pistols and two rounds. She then grabbed a few extra rounds and grenades before kicking the wall back up. "We have to move quickly. Let's go." She said, slipping passed the door to her motorcycle. She then pulled out the communicator and pressed the emergency message. "Crazy rats and a swan on the loose. I repeat, crazy rats and a swan on the loose. Contact immediately if the swan is found!" She then put her communicator back and put on her helmet and bulletproof jacket. "Zil, need a ride?!" She called.
