Ravynne Sidhe I got Sidhe Ravynne from a pagan name generator which I used for an upcoming character in a satire I'm writing concerning the fluffy bunnies in the pagan, Christian and atheist communities. I switched them around to make it sound better, so I may use it for a pen name and eventually a craft name. Even though I dislike the fae. -shrugs- *laughs* Ha! That's perfect. When I saw your username, I actually thought it sounded like a fluffy's name. Just a little too pretentious, you know. Good for a pen name though. However, if you don't want to associate with the fae, you might not want to use Sidhe as part of your craft name. It's supposed to be part of who you are right? Anyway, welcome to the guild!

No I'm far to creative to come up with a fluffy name XD Okay maybe not. I get really bored and use the pagan name generator for fun. It actually did me well because I got 6 fluffy names out of it biggrin I don't know much about craft names, I'm still a noob D:

What is Deboran witchdom? Is it a phrase you've created yourself?
The -dom suffix makes it sound like a place or area...

No, I didn't create it. It's an eclectic form of witchcraft founded by Claudia Haldane...sometime during late 1970s, early 80s...it's just the closest thing we9the coven I'm in) can relate to when explaining to others what we practice. And indeed, the suffix does xD

Not from reliable sources like witchvox... but here are a couple links
www.paganlore.com/paths.aspx www.freewebs.com/hedgewitchescottage/wiccantraditions.htm (this site just has traditions copied from ravenwolf and buckland books -ick-) www.oocities.com/thehallsofamethyst/Traditions.html
-sighs- They basically say the same thing, not much information on it that I can find so far. But, its eclectic witchcraft basically...we each have an interest in different traditions, but the family Craft goes way back and we moreso fit the term Hedge Witch...I hope I make sense...

I dunno, Witchvox isn't always reliable wink I was about to complain that the list from the second link contained a high number of flaws, and then I saw at the bottom that it was by Silver Ravenwolf. xd "Eclectic tradition" sounds like a bit of an oxymoron... is it more of a tradition in the making, or is a lot up to the individual, or what? Maybe you could make a thread in the pathways subforum 3nodding

I could try, and it's a little bit of both. The coven retains most of the old ways of the family...but we're open to different paths new and old. Individually we're drawn to certain practices, like I'm drawn to welsh/celtic practices. I playfully call myself a Wild Witch due to my love of working in forests ,meadows and with animals. But I'll try that thread idea...I'm a bit iffy about it, I have a habit of rambling and don't want to come off as a newb ;_;

It's a fairly nonjudgemental area of the guild.
