Reiko smirked and cocked an eyebrow at Ophelia. Then she turned back to the shelves of jewelry. "Now isn't that interesting?" She spied a soft, black leather collar and began to examine it.
"I actually think pointy things are interesting. I have a particular interest in knives and old swords."

Aureate peeked through the door, startled by the tinkling of the bells. She glanced side to side to make sure there weren't any zombies inside and slipped inside.
She looked over to see two peculiar girls chatting about knives. Aureate's eyes lit up and she fixed her fez. Aureate ambled to the group and leered mischievously.

Reiko jumped and glancd at their new companion.
"Aureate?" she cried and a smile split her face.

Aureate's eyes widened as she was creeped out by the girl's grin - familiar to that of the zombies that chased her out of her village. She peered closer, realizing that this girl wasn't a zombie as usually it's head would be slung down and it would be uncoordinated. She looked closer and gasped.
"'Welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, well. To what do I owe the extreme pleasure of this surprising visit?'" Aureate recited from "A Clockwork Orange". She stepped forward. "Crap-o-la, it's you! Reiko!"

Reiko's face darkened. "I thought I got away from you when I ran out of that theatre in Germany..."

Aureate sneered and reached behind her back. She plucked a few strings on her guitar. She saw Reiko tense, but then again, she might've just imagined it.
"Ah, you silly old 'soomka'," laughed Aureate. "I wondered when you would come back with the popcorn. I was all like, 'Rawr, where's my popcorn?'" Aureate heaved a sigh. "It seems my constant commenting that Phantom-y was sexeh, must've annoyed you, eh? So what's it going to be then, eh?"

Apparently they knew each other from before. Ophelia started to back away. Whoever said two was better than one.

Reiko's eyes followed the tentative movement of Ophelia. Then her eyes brightened.
"Aureate! This is Ophelia. She... uh... is helping me find my way around." Her tone became slightly threatening. "Right... Ophelia?"

"Hey, you, with the pink hair!" Aureate hollered. Aureate leered and touched her guitar strings again. "What's your damage leaving us? Eh?"

"What's your damage Heather?" Reiko muttered under her breath. "I left you because..." She couldn't think up a good reason so she changed the subject.
"But, hey, what are you doing here?"
'And how did you find me?' she added mentally.

Aureate chuckled a bit, remincising her exile from Xiphia. She heaved a sigh and untied the strap that secured her 1957 vintage six-string. Aureate placed it in front of her chest and cleared her voice. She plucked the G-chord and inhaled a breath to tell her tale:
"Well, I'm gonna tell ya a story,
about a boy and his dog,
where mimes were held,
and the dog lived in bog--"
Before Aureate could finish her horrible song, there was a clang behind her.

((Woops, I thought Aureate was talking to me redface ))
Reiko's head tilted in the direction of the clang. She didn't notice anything.
'At least she didn't get a chance to sing,' she thought recalling the long hours spent on the road trying to shut Aureate up.
