Bah, you just need practice. I had the same problem when I was younger. It's called 'thought process scrambled'.

WRONG koudai! Believe it or not I do the art while my hands shake. The ONLY reason my art is as good as it is today has NOTHING to do with talent. Not talent but hard work and practice. Hard long years of evolving and honing my ability as best as I could without the help of classes. The only time I tried to I found out my style was just too different and they didn't know how to help me because my style has nothing to do with realistic. No, the ONLY key to art like mine is hard work, practice, concentration, time, and hard work. There is no such thing as a short cut called talent!
Well there IS actually a shortcut like that but I find people like that aggravating.

*applauds* Yes, you just need to practice and stop telling yourself you're not good! I've tried that, and it gets tiring after a while. By the time I turn twenty I'll probably be better than Tara! Well, maybe not, but you never know! I'm catching up to her and I'm eleven years younger than her!

Well, fine then.... I just don't want to go through all the "blood, sweat and tears" to get my art good enough to where I can enjoy it.... I don't have the patience when it comes to art... I know what I want to draw... I can see it in my head.... but it never ends up the same on the paper.... (or even vaguely similar...) :s sweatdrop

XD I suppose it all comes down to patience. Look at my art, how patient did i have to be to do each of them?

I dunno, how patient did you have to be? Usually my pictures don't take that long, and I think that's the problem; I doodle and call it done before I add real depth to the pictures. sweatdrop

I already stated.... I am not forcing myself... I won't enjoy it... I also don't see why I even need to... I don't really want to get better, because there will always be someone better.... and I just don't have any good reason to get any better, I draw for fun, and making myself draw to get better would NOT be fun....

x-x; *ish amazed* Dude, that's awesome. I wish I had the patience...But patience comes with age, and fourteen is not an age to have major patience...

XD When it came to art I always had patience. If you love something enough you will do anything to perfect it.

Sorry Sis, I don't think you are ever going to be that patient. If you do become patient, it will only be for SOME things, not everything... Plus, I think it will take you till you are like... 35?

kyoudai everyones patient when they find someone they like enough. I was so bad at paying attention to anything not art that when i was in junior high I was nearly run in to by a van and it crashed in a poll directly in front of me- and I didn't notice. Trust me you can do anything for that right thing.
