The car roared to life and douglas held onto the back of Lucien's seat tightly as Yuber tore threw the opening of the garage. Squeezing his eyes closed tightly, maybe he should have tried to call Rayne and SHanara first.

The tire squeeled as Yuber used his fighter instics to drive the car, passing houses and cars at neck breaking speeds. Weaving threw traffic. As red and blue lights appeared behinde him, Yuber ignored them, pressing the gas petal harder.

"I would be the only tossed in jail..." Yuber's soft dark voice mummred as he took a turn almost to fast. "Besides.... isn't there wavers for emerganceys?" He could see the lights of the hosptial that Douglas's doctor worked at. "Did you call his doctor to tell him we were coming?"

Douglas sat panting in the back seat, closing his eyes and humming to himself. This wasn't happening, this couldn't be happening right now, could it? One arm wraped tightly around his belly.

The car spun in a tight donut, coming to a stop in front of the emgancey doors. "You flage down a nurses and try and get ahold of his doctor, I'll deal with the cop." He stepped out of the car, stepping direactly in front of the officer blocking him from getting any closer to the car or Douglas or Luicen. He was actully keeping his temper as he started to explaine things.

A couple of curioues nurses out on a smoke break wonder up closer to the still running car, probley to over hear the conversation the blonde was having with the officer.

Douglas panted.... at least the drive had stoped and he was okay.... sort of.

One of the nurses stopped, looking over at Lucien first caught by his strange appearance, and the way she looked at him made him think she was looking for something. Douglas's soft moan brought her attion to the back of the car, and to Douglas who was panting.

She immedatly lept into action, ordering for a gurney and some other nurses to help, and in a couple moments Lucien was being drug upstaires being asked a mulitued of questions like who his doctor was, where his gaurdain was. As the doors closed to the elevator he saw as the officer put handcuffs on Yuber.

It was about a half hour later when the elevator that lead to the matrnity ward lounge opned drawing Lucien's attion. Long blonde hair in a poney tail, his fadora lowered over his eyes. A smirk on his face one sharp tooth visable.

Sitting down next to Lucien, leaning back in the chair, "Any news?"

Yuber leaned back in his chair, cupping the back of his head with his hands and pushing his hat futher down onto his face grinning, "I smaked that cop up side his head and told him what was what and he let me go." Shifting his weight he leaned forward pulling a cigerttie out of his pocket and begain to light it. "Did you expect anything less Luc?"

Just as he took that first puff one of the nurses that had been down stairs when they arrived came walking up and snatching the smoke out of his mouth. "Haven't you done enough damage today kid? I got you out of that jam with the officer becuse you where trying to do the right thing, but if I catch you breaking any more rules I'll have him come back up here to arrest you!"

The arrogent blonde looked up at the woman and blinked, lost for words as he watched her walk away. A slight pink stain of embersment across his cheeks as he sighed, his glare over at Lucian told the scurpoin not to say a word.

Yuber's head sivled and watched as Luc made a dash to get out of firing range of his Aunt and Mother. The blonde hoped to his feet, detrimend to face death like a man, standing, and waited. All he could think was that it was worth it. He had gotton Douglas here safely, and had a whole lot of fun doing it.

Yuber staired blankely at his aunt for a moment, then pointed to the nurses desk. "He is fine, they said they would come tell us when he had the baby. They wanted to talk to you and mom once you got here." His shoulders visabley relaxed as he watched Rayne hurry off, but once he felt the heat of another pair of eyes he gulped and turned. Shanara did not look relived that they where all here in one piece and okay. She lifted an eyebrow as she regaurded the two boys. "You two and I are going to have a serioues talk when we get home. But I'll leave it alone for now, make the most of it and don't get into any more trouble." She stepped away to see wha they where saying to Rayne.
