Sirence had been lying on the grass near the oasis, eyes closed, finally resting a little. *CRRAAAASSSHH* Sirence's eyes turned up sharply at the noise Trent had created just beyond the brush line of the wood. He glanced up at Dameon and as though all of his senses had finally returned to him and stood up and searched the clearing. "Where's Contay?" He seemed slightly panicked even though he knew she was not part of the conflict in the wood. "Dameon, where did she go?"

The loop of Tiki's bag almost choked him as he regained his feet, and he was forced to slip out of it. Within moments his hair was full of dust and splinters, but the moment his attackers' eyes left him, he reared back his hand and let loose the rock he had begun holding earlier, which spun in a flat arc for the bridge of the skull's snout.

Trent landed hard amongst the debris. On his knees and with his right arm outstretched, he looked up to the girl. He smiled. He pushed off the ground, rushing towards her, with his staff behind him, ready to swing.

Dameon put his free hand on Sirences shoulder and pushed downward lightly. "Calm down, she's fine, she went with one of the best fighters I've met other than you and me, you might remember Justice. She had to go get something. They'll be back" Dameon had heard the crash, and other than checking that it hadn't woken Sairiel, he'd all but ignored it. As soon as Carilel's mask went down he knew from afar who Trent was fighting, he had concidered yelling something to her, but he decided to let Trent have his fun.

Sirence took a long deep breath and sat back down slowly, his eyes far off across the water. "Oh, well, as long as she's back soon..." he said softly. Very uncharacteristically Sirence threw himself into the oasis, head first and disappeared under the water. Seconds later he resurfaced, only feet from where he had dove in. Sirence took a long deep breath before he suddenly disappeared beneath the healing waters again.

Carrilel snapped her fingers twice, in time, and smirked, though it was hidden behind her mask. The rock caused her more pain then she had anticipated, she looked in Tiki's direction. She turned to face him casually as her star flew into view. Carrilel winked at Tiki, caught the star and with the momentum spun around to slice Trent as he reached her.

As soon as she looked away, Tiki made a ducking grab for his bag, hoisting it back over his shoulder.

Carilel would have cut Trent's face wide open if he had been any farther away. He was so close that the star caught him on the shoulder and pulled him along her arms pathway. The girl's momentum sent Trent flying towards Tiki.
"Tiki! Duc... Good!"
Trent whizzed over Tiki's head, missing him by mere inches, crash landing into the base of a tree.

Carrilel paused for only a second, somewhat surprised by what had happened. She quickly focused her thoughts again; she spun around twice with her star stretched out, help by both hands and let it fly in Tiki and Trent's direction (like discus). Unfortunetly, she was a little off balance when she let the star go and so, it was aimed a little too high and would only strike Tiki if he were to stand up and Trent, only if he recovered more quickly then it seemed. She also threw it so hard that the slightest imbalance had caused her to fall to one knee, with her eyes on Tiki. The dark star cleared the woods(into the clearing of the oasis) taking down numerous trees with it before it spun to the left and started it's return to Carrilel, taking down lots more trees on its way.

Trent righted himself, sitting amongst the roots of the tree. He rubbed his head where he had slammed into the tree.
"Ow... b***h."
Trent began to stand as the Dark Star rushed over his head, dissecting the tree behind him. He promptly dropped to his hind end again.
"I'm really begining to not like this weapon choice of hers."
Trent stood and pulled his staff out of the ground. It had wedged itself there when he had hit the tree.

Dameon watched the star enter the clearing. He sighed, his patience growing thinner. He thought to yell but decided to have some fun instead. He wove some chaos through his free hand and surrounded the star with it. He watched the star, and delivery of his special package head back into the woods. He had to have SOME fun after all.

Tiki ducked, recalling a previous incident where he had attempted to catch Trent and how well it had worked out for their opposition. He started to stand again as the star flew at him, but some primal instinct forced him to bend backwards like a limbo player as it rushed over his body. One of the edges caught the strap of his satchel, snapping it. The stones spilled out underneath him.
He heard Candle say something, but wasn't in the frame of mind to comprehend it.
Taking advantage of the moment the assassin was weaponless, Tiki leapt horizontally at her, hoping to knock her to the ground with his airborne bodyweight so he could tear out her throat with his teeth.
((If he is successful, he will realize that her throat is protected by the skull... just a little too late.))

Carrilel made a small attempt to brace herself for Tiki's jump but at the last second she took his weight and rolled with it. Tiki's teeth hitting hard against the bottom of the skull, Carrilel forced her left hand to his throat, the veil wrapped around her arm acted as though it had it's own mind and wrapped tightly around Tiki's neck as well. She pushed him off of her and onto the ground, heaving herself above him, leaning down on his throat. Carrilel's right hand flew into the air, waiting to catch the star as it returned, a second later. Once caught Carrilel would have thrust the blade down on Tiki but instead she dropped it and rolled over in agony as her hand convulsed exclusively. The veil however remained tight and strangling around Tiki's neck.

Tiki writhed violently, kicking out and clawing as his opponent strangled him. His eyes dilated wildly, and in his thrashing he must have jarred his head against the ground a number of times.
There was a hissing noise that seemed not to be coming from anywhere in particular and the faded bruises-- the fang shaped bruises-- began to bleed. Anyone sensitive to such things would make out the figure of an enormous wolf standing over his prone body with its jaws inches from his throat, maliciously waiting.

Trent saw an opportunity and took it. His staff disappeared in the same energy it had appeared in, and in it's place was a dagger (one of Trent's Kobukhi). He threw it with as much accuracy as he could achieve, directing it at the veil, that was choking his companion.
