Today I made delicious banana nut muffins and re-stuffed my belly pillow. Now it's all firm and I can use it as a nursing pillow when Lily finally decides to show up whee

Is she here yet????

No >_< I haven't even started dilating yet (had a Dr. appointment yesterday). I am having crazy amounts of Braxton Hicks contractions, though, and her head's right behind my cervix, so hopefully she won't wait too much freakin' longer. My due date's the 16th.

I want her to come already!! I'm tired of looking like this: (picture from a litle over two weeks ago)

My oldest son was born 11 days after his due date. I thought he would never get here. I just wanted to put him down! (He still does things when he's ready, and not one second before.)
The second son was a month early. First daughter was a little late, less than a week, and the last daughter was about the same.
It's pretty much all a guess, within a few days!

Hopefully the next picture will be you holding her in your ARMS.

I started my indoor spinach flats, and stole some germinated seeds from my organic gardening class.

I bought a few fruit trees to begin replacing the ones I lost a couple of years ago----2 apples, 2 pears, and 2 peaches, plus a couple of blueberry bushes. Now if it would just WARM UP!!!!!

Holy crap.

But, the good thing about it - when, if, we decide enough is enough, this garbage will be easier to capture and dispose of properly. Sad though thinking the polymers will always be there. As a neat freak, this disturbs me.

It's at the point where I need to have a job that I can be happy to wake up to. It's ridiculous that we put ourselves through 40 hours of torture each week. I can't wait until money is abolished and each person can do what they love and not have to worry about rent, food, and clothing.

Good luck! Working in a greenhouse/garden center/florist was one of my first jobs and I just loved it!

Here's a documentary on plastic:
http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/Shows/Doc_Zone/ID=1233752003

It doesn't mention the gyres but it does show the problems with trying to recycle plastic.

I learned that cutting and working with 5160 steel with only hand tools is very very time consuming and also pretty rewarding
