Gabriel strode easily through the maze of hallways untill they reached the faint glow of the neon near the bar. He then halted, turning abruptly to the guests. "Give me your names and I will inform my Master that you are waiting to see him." he said quietly. Lifting his hand to his hair, he pushed it back from his face. It was getting quite long and he was thinking of cutting it again. "Without names, he may not see you." he added. He was positive that his master would see the man. The female, however, might be a different story. End of message.

"I am Alustria Do’Udren" she stated without hesitation. She knew that Arjay had stated many times that he was expected and was ready to see his response to this question.

I frowned at the man. Information for information, that was how I ran things. I didn't recall him telling me his name. I shook my head. I wasn't going to play games with this guy. "Tell you what." I sad, placing my hand on the hilt of the Hiratoshi. "You can either take me to see Lucid, or I'll go over you and find him myself." It was not an empty threat. Hiratoshi vibrated with power, sending a sort of charge up my arm. The charge made my eyes hurt and I closed them for a moment. I could feel the power building within my body. I closed my mind around it like an envelope, putting the power in a cage. As soon s the lock clicked into place in my mind, I opened my eyes to glare at the stranger. "I kid you not, demon." End of message.

Gabriel put his hands up, palms toward the two. "Temper, temper." he said. He made a tsking sound, and it was followed by a low growl from deep in his throat. "If you pull that cursed thing, I will tear you apart." He lowered his hands, keeping his expression blank. His gaze flicked to the woman. "My master is in the bar, just ahead. You may find him there." He turned, striding across the floor toward the violet neon glow. End of message.

Ali smirked at the display. "Shall we go ahead then?" she asked Arjay. She push back her cloak over her shoulders and started to walk towards the glow of the bar. The lights were soothing, they did not hurt her delicate eyes in any way. She stopped, looked over her shoulder at Arjay, and motioned for him to join her.

I let my breath out in a soft sigh. The soft brush of power that was the Hiratoshi sang through my mind once more. ;Any need of me?; it asked in the depths of my mind where only I could hear. I ignored this, stepping toward the edge of light. I sensed the presence of the master vampire then. It was like a small wave of power that prickled along my skin. This was how vampires recognized each other. But only the more ancient vampires, the masters, could cause their power to expand around them the touch everyone. I could no longer see the demon, which put me on edge. I already did not trust him. The last thing I needed was to let him out of my sight. I paused just inside the ring of light, allowing my gaze to adjust to it. The light didn't hurt my eyes any, it wasn't meant for that. It really was only for looks. Vampires have excellent night vision. Our vision is so good that we don't need any light to see. Of course, about half of our being comfortable in the dark is that we dislike sunlight. Or any light, really. I smelled the woman then, and the scent snapped me back to attention. Glancing past Ali, I saw Lucid standing very close to another woman, for who I had no name. I took in her features with one swift glance then turned my attention back to the task at hand. I needed to speak with Lucid about the sword. Stepping past Ali, I moved into the bar area, keeping my senses directed to all sides of me. "Lucid, it's getting worse." I said, stepping closer to him until I was only feet away. "We are going to have to act sooner than we thought." End of message.

Lucid looked up at the intruders, his gaze pale and cold. He'd already spoken to his pet and found out that they were here. He'd been expecting Arjay for days now, but the woman was an altogether different story. "We will get to the sword, my old friend." he said quietly, shifting his gaze to the elf. "Who are you and what brings you to my home?"

Ali slowly stepped into the light. "I am Alustria Do’Udren. I am sorry for my intrusion." she bowed. "I am simply wanting a place to rest and maybe a hot bath." she answered. She looked at the man with curiously. She looked to Arjay hoping he would say something, after all he had invited her. She felt an urge to replace the cowl of her cloak, but decided it best she not.

Lucid hesitated for a moment. He was suddenly being faced with a lot of guests at once. The dempire and his female companion; Gemara, Arjay, Lyra and now this one. The Haven had not been this busy in a very long time. "Shelter, safety and a bath can all be arranged. My Demon will guide you to a room and show you to the bathing area." he said quietly, motioning to Gabriel. "Please make yourself at home and if there is anything you need, Gabriel will provide it."

Ali took another deep bow. "Thank you sir! I appreciate your hospitality." With that she turned to follow his 'demon' as he was called. She had to admit to herself that she was confused. This man looked nothing like a demon, at least not any she had ever seen. The whole place in general was perplexing. There was something different, yet she felt very safe here.

Incoming message. . .
Gabriel moved toward the woman who had introduced herself as Alustria. He thought the name was a bit funny sounding and wondered for a moment if she had a nickname. He smartly said nothing about it, motioning her with a finger to follow him. He then turned, moving down the hallway. The hallways were dark, lit only by scattered torches that flared to life upon his touching them. Most of the wall were decorated with paintings from every century and tapestries that were nearly as old as the castle itself. His master was a collector of 'junk'. Ancient suits of armor lined some of the halls, most of them bearing battle axes and over sized swords. They could come to life if his master willed it, to defend the castle. To Gabriel, they were just junk. He soon found a stairwell that lead to the floor above and started up it, only then looking back to make sure that the guest was still following.
End of message.

Lyra was swiftly becoming overwhelmed. There were far to many strangers in her presence for her to be comfortable. Gabriel bothered her but he didn't frighten her, neither did Dani or her friend, nor the presence of the other two females. None of them truly scared her. Lucid did at times, but when the male who had just arrived stepped into the light she shivered as the feel of what he was capable of prickled down her skin. His voice seemed to wrap her mind in a thick fog and she had to close her eyes to fight for it to clear. Now...now she was afraid, because people felt different to her, in ways that she couldn't explain. And though she felt this kind of power in Lucid from time to time there was only hints of it. This man emanated power of him in waves. He felt very much like one of the men who frequently captured her. Normally when enough groups failed, a single hunter was sent after her...and the past few times it had always been the same one...and while she had never seen him, she knew what he felt like, and this felt too similar for comfort. Moving back, she slowly slipped into the shadows along the wall, and hoping that everyone else would be enough of a distraction for her to slip away.

Lucid watched Gabriel lead the elf away, then sent Arjay to go rest. This, once again, left him alone with Lyra. "If you run off and get into trouble, I will not help you." he said, without turning around. He could feel her slipping away from him. He leaned upon the bar top, reaching behind to pull a bottle of Bloodwyne from the shelf. Slipping a goblet from under the bar, he proceeded to pour himself some of the dark drink. "I made you the promise that you were safe here. Did you think I lied?" he asked, taking a sip from the now full goblet.

"I wouldn't say lied...that's a bit harsh, just me being cautious is all." she answered and sighed softly, realizing that she wasn't very good at being coy. "Alright, perhaps a little too cautious and I wasn't going to leave the castle...just the room." she told him quietly, moving back into the light. Watching him, she let a slight smile curve her lips and wondered at it's origins. "Why did you help me in the first place?" she asked curiously.

He watched her, drinking his Bloodwyne slowly. "Perhaps.." he said, setting the goblet on the bar. "I have a soft spot for damsels in distress." He smiled at her, his eyes seeming to glow with mischief. "Or maybe I just wanted to kill those men for trespassing on my land."
