Aaron took Kate's other hand and helped her and Jess up. "Eh, don't worry Kate. You'll see me around. We have to kidnap Lucius, remember? And I'm always around if you need help with homework." he said hugging her tightly. "But Jess is right, it's almost sunset and we don't want to be out here when it gets dark. The squid might eat us." he teased.
Jess smiled and looped her arm around Kate's. "Let's go, love."

"Oh a-alright" she studdered, and bid her farewells to Aaron and walked with Jess.
"He was nice" she said, trying to start a conversation. She still felt bad about what she said.
Hopefully she didn't take it to heart.

Jess led Jimmy out to the lake. She smiled, making small talk with him as they walked to a shady tree. "I nearly forgot to bring the cake." She said refering to the sweet wrapped in a napkin that she was carying. "We wouldn't have been able to have a party without it!"

Jimmy laughed as Jess lead him to the lake, "Yea that would have been bad if we forgot them. Though i think we would of thought of something." Jimmy added as Jess tried to find the best spot to sit.

"I could have tried to whip someonthing up...don't know how well it'd turn out with out my potions and such with me, but it'd be worth a try." She said with a smile. "Ah, here we go." She sat down under a shady oak tree. "I love this tree, always sit under here when ever I come by the lake."

"No, no no we will leave all the cooking to me if it had come down to that." Jimmy said faking fear in his voice. "Nice tree, nice spot." He added looking out at the lake.

Jessica laughed lightly as she uncovered the cake. "You have no faith in me." She said with a smile. She pulled out a candle from her pocket and stuck it in the small pastry. "Incindo." she muttered, pointing her wand at the candle. A small flame flickred on the blue and white swrill candle. "Ta-dah!"

"I trust everyone, its the devil in them i dont trust." He said as he watched light the cake than clapped when she said tada. "Well since we are honoring someone might as well have them here." Jimmy said reaching in his back pocket pulling out his wallet than pulling out one of the folded pieces papers in it. It was a picture of three little kids sitting on a deck. The oldest a nine year old girl holding a baby girl while a three year old boy was laughing as the dog jumped on him. "That was take at what was our new house before everything went to h*ll." Jimmy added.

Jess smiled weakly and studied the picture. "Is that her?" She asked pointing to the smiling baby. "She's cute." She said softly. Smiled at Jimmy and then looked at the small cake. "Should we sing?" She asked with a light blush.

"Eh she got all the looks from mom." Jimmy joked trying to lighten the mood, "Sure we can if you want to. Let's hear that voice of yours" Jimmy smiled.

Jessica laughed lightly and blushed. "What, me sing?" she asked. "I can't sing with out music and even then I can hardly hold a tune, horribly tone deaf." She replied.

Jimmy smirk at her, "You need music? Ok." He pulled out his wand and summon his guitar it appear out of no where. "Come on its just us. It wont kill you." He said strumming the guitar.

Jessica blushed a deep red and sighed. "Fine alright." She smiled and looked away, too embarassed. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Zoey, happy birthday to you." She sang. When she finished she laughed lightly and blushed a deeper red. "There. Simple and sweet."

Jimmy played along to her singing and when she finished he started to clap, "Bravo bravo. " He laughed. "Here you lied to me, you said you can't sing. Makes me wonder what else you lied about...maybe your cooking?" Jimmy teased, as he picked up the cake "make a wish."

Jess closed her eyes and blew out the candle. "I can't sing, and I'm not telling you what I wished for." She said with a smile. She giggled and put a bit of the forsting on Jimmy's nose.
