"Whatever you say..." Shin knew Niku wasn't telling the truth. They'd been best friends for just about ever, so he knew almost everything about his friend.
They had a few more hours until dark. No one liked to be out in the dark, so Shin said he was going out to look for some nails before the night hours.

Amaya nodded, she turned slowly on her side and closed her eyes. "Thank you again!" she said sleepily.

night was almost here. jin liked the night but he always felt like someone was following him."okay were almost there" he said. he drove around a corner and started to slow down as he neared the end of the street. he stopped in front of a borded up house with the door kicked down."well this is my pad,lol.......yes i said lol" he got out and went under the dash againg and pulled the two wires apart and the cars engine died.

As Mae looked at the house she figured it was better than sleeping alone in the car. At least she would feel some sense of security.
She opened the car door and stepped out. This seemed like a much quieter area of the city, but it was just as destroyed. Mae tilted her head up to the sky and looked at all the stars. They'd been so much brighter these past few weeks since no one had any electricity.

Nikui sat in his corner on the blanket and tried to sleep - though it was hard with that annoyingly cute girl was most likely across the room plotting on how to take Shin away from him.

When Shin got back, it pretty much was dark. He could barely see anything, which made him wish they still had lights.
He set the new pack of nails down in the corner and looked around. The other two were already sleeping, so he figured he should probably get to sleep too. He had to finish the roof tomorrow.
Shin sat down next to Niku's sleeping form and turned his back to him. He scooted back so his back touched his friend. It was always warmer this way, they'd discovered.

Niku woke up slightly as Shin pressed his body against him. He smiled to himself, and circled his arms around him, resting his head on the other's shoulder, before falling back asleep.

Shin turned around and blushed at how close him and his friend were. Niku was sleeping peacefully already. He must have done it in his sleep.
But Niku needed him right now, and Shin wasn't going to push him away. It was a difficult time for both of them... for everyone.

Niku shifted in his sleep, on top of a rock, waking up harshly. He looked up at Shin and blushed, though he couldn't find it in him to say anything.

Niku looked away and snuggled closer to Shin. He felt his heart beating in his throat, as he rolled over. He couldn't face Shin like this any more. He was just too nervous.

"Hey..." Shin whispered in his ear as his arms crossed over Niku's chest tightly. "Everything will be okay. We just have to stick together."

Niku shivered a bit and looked over at the boy trying to comfort him. Okay now can you quit with the "hard" stuff it is really disturbing and against Rikku-Liia's rules. And i have been given the power to kick you out if it happens again. If it does then i will tell Rikku-Liia and you will be kicked out. i am not kidding it is quite disturbing.))
