(Necrohillicas eek ...Gads. That reminds of a horrible story I got told a few years ago)
Blaze sighed quietly as she walked next to Cassie. She had secretly hoped Ranulf would really want to stay with his sister...she had wanted the time once Cassie left to think alone. Blaze didn't wait for Ranulf, being a beast master he would surely catch with up them. Cassie didn't hear him at all because she was lost in her own thoughts. "Did you just say something?" She asked Blaze innocently. She shook her head. "You know you don't have to wait with me. I'm a big girl."
Blaze smiled at her. "I'm not watching over you, I wanted to keep a look-out. And do you think you could humour the bounty hunter who's been here before?" Cassie blushed, embarrassed (sp?) "Sorry, when you put it like that you have a good point."

ranulf came up beside them silently and walked the rest of the way up. "are you sure its a good idea to stay somewhere that isnt secured after tonight.. miss..... cassie.. that is your name right? i just think that this being the most secure place that everyone would want to stay here so as not to be.. oh i dont know.. kidnapped twice." ranulf teased

"To be honest I really just want to go to my own bed. Plus I need to speak to Helena some time soon. Don't worry, I'll be back before you miss me." She winked at him jokingly. Blaze's face darkened and as soon as they were above ground she stalked off to the best lookout point in silence.

aww.. peg needs a day character XD mew..) once the cab had arrived and taken cassie away ranulf sniffed the air and found blaze. "ive never actually met a were-cheetah before... where did you contract it?" he asked intuitively as he sat down beside her.

"Yeah, we're pretty uncommon. Especially me." Blaze looked at him for minute silently then looked back out the window again. "My father was a doctor. He was mission work in Africa - building clinics and helping set them up and stuff when he was attacked by a wild cheetah. It's really unusual for a cheetah to attack a human but if you're hungry enough..." She let then sentence trail off and sighed. She looked Ranulf in the eyes. "You know how it taked around 48 hours for wolf lycanthory to appear in your blood?" She said it like she knew Ranulf would know this, not like she was literally asking if he did. "Well, twenty-odd years ago they didn't know it could take anything up to month for cheetah to show up in your blood. So my father's test results came back negative and my mother realised she was pregnant about a month or two after that. Once I born they noticed....well, the doctor's called it 'abnormailities in my development'." Blaze spat the last bit out, turning fiercely to glare out into the sunlight.

ranulf was silent as she spoke... then decided to confide in her. "yes i know all about doctors and their technical terms. i came out of my mother with wolf eyes because being born in stressful stuff you know.." he smiled at her then looked back out. "they said that my eyes would never be normal.. but my mother knew better.... its a family trait anyways so she ignored the doctor. he actually had the audacity to ask if they could run tests on me. she just laughed at them and said 'if you dont want to end up on the missing persons list you better not ask that EVER again.' and they didnt ... especially when my sister was born." ranulf laughed to himself lightly.

"It's nice that you're mother was like that. And you have your sister. Mine were terrified of me. Because I can change at will regardless of the moon I was unable to control it when I was young. I would get stuck as a cheetah or half and half. They couldn't understand so I was sent away when I was in my teens...I haven't seen them since." She paused and smiled at him. It was something that rarely happened and lit up her face. "Did that ever happen to you?" She asked.
