Leafe sighed. This guy had come here without knowng this place at all. "The entire surface population was forced underground five thousand years ago because of a devistating magical and elemental war. Nothing can live there, not elves, not the undead, not dragons. A poisonious like gas on the surface eats everything, including the magic that's been used to try and stop it. Our dragon's are not weak."

She was growing tired of this conversation. But she would stay to make sure he left the Peninsula.

Sevilin only nodded, falling back into his passive ways before following Malik upstairs. And oh joy...look at that, there was a crowd. He hated crowds. Even worse it was a crowd of surface elves. Wait what was his son petting? Kids...they'd touch anything.

"Galesen...rolls right off the tongue, doesn't it?" Giving a little chuckle at that. Of course she was going to pick the elvish on, she was elvish. But as most elves from Andal, who weren't used to speaking common tongue, she had that slight accent to her voice that was almost etheral in it's tone. But a tilt of her head, absentmindedly fingering her flute that hung at her waist. "Born down here? Wouldn't you be an Underdark elf then? Sounds to me like you've never touched a surface." Oh yes she understood, she was just joking with him as she usually did. A look back to Piper. "At least he has his manners." Looking Piper over then once. "Pulling off the surcoat look fabulously."

"Thank you Isleandra. Piper shook her head lightly. "Father always has mounds of work...I'm surprised though that he found restraint this time...or did Lateef chain him literally to his desk?" Giving a laugh at that before she sobered herself. "Well if you'll excuse me, I have to do some business with Arthur. Make yourself at home Isle, I'm sure Lhark will fill you in. Oh and you don't need to do your eyes, it's bright enough inside." Motioning Arthur to follow her as she continued out and to the stables, she'd tend to Lharika when she was done with the boys.

Malikhai was still in wonder of this little guy. "There's gonna be more?!" Oh wasn't that an exciting. Though it sounded like there would only be more if mom and dad said yes. "Grampa Kieran always finds neat things. I wish I could find neat things like he does." Yes, Kieran always had something new to show him when he visited. A happy smile at the creature as it made nosies. "Hey, he does more than chitters." A wave at it though. "Hi, I'm Malikhai D'vinn." Because he always introduced himself with his last name, just like daddy taught him to. But a look to Lharika. "Mommy says creatures name themselves then tell us, do draithix do that too? Like the horses?"

She nodded, "Yes most of them do but naming themselves does not mean we can understand what they named themselves. In those cases then we have to give them a name ourselves, yes? After all, if you are goign to call one draithix among many you can't very well say 'hey draithix', now can you?" She paused for a moment with a speculative look then glanced over at Zykariel. "Who named Nym?"

His ears flicked and he turned to look directly at Lharika then chirped at her once before tilting his head questioningly.

He thought about that one for a second. "Daddy? Or maybe Nym named himself, I don't know." He happened to glance up and see his father standing there and grinned. "Daddy? Who named Nym?" Before going right back to petting at the draithix.

Arthur followed Piper with a happy smirk on his face, after meeting Isle he felt like everything would be good for him for the rest of the day, he didn’t know why but he felt that way. So after they reached the stables Arthur stood by as Piper fed an apple to a Zephyr and told the horse to get her the three winged nightmare dominate zephmare so he could take a look at them, well about ten minutes went by and then that Zephyr showed up towing the other horses right behind him. "Thanks Piper I will...and they look great." Yup just the look of the horses were amazing but there were still a few factors that had to be looked at first in order to see if he could own one of them, so slowly Arthur walked up to the closest one and began to look it over slowly, petting its flank and doing some other things, and he did this with each horse until he was finished. He happened to notice some difference in size a little and looks which did help him decide a little but they were all good for him, the only problem was picking one that actually wanted to be his ride. "Well they are all pretty good Piper you have bread yourself some fine horses..." His voice trailed off as he looked over each one then finally he stepped up to the one in the middle and started to pet its flank slowly with a small smile. "I would like to have this one Piper." He said as he watched the zephmare eyes with interest.

Arthur found it kind of funny that when he was going over each horse to decide which one he wanted they were inspecting him as well, as he went to each horse they casually n** at him and sometimes sniff though it was probably the way things went when someone wanted to buy one of them. So after he picked the one he wanted he waited quietly as Piper dismissed the other two and off they went to do whatever they were doing before Arthur and Piper came along, though the elf watched when the stallion gave a nicker when Piper pet him and he chuckle, horses were always beautiful creatures and he loved the noises they make. "Yup this one." Though when she asked the horse if he liked him all he noticed was how there was a breeze, the air got a little hot and a few nickers and other noises came from the horse. "I take that as a yes huh?" He asked and smiled lightly. Though when Piper asked him what kind of horse hide he wanted the elf smile grew a little bigger. "Well..." His voice trailed off when he looked back at the stallion for a second. "I say a normal buckskin colour."

Arthur chuckle a little and grinned. "He said that huh? Well I'm happy to hear that he wants to be my partner, I will take really good care of him." He was really happy to hear that this stallion wants to be with him, he always wanted to own a horse after seeing the horses that Piper and Zahara have been selling in their business, they all looked really well fit and the owners that took them looked really happy. Though he turned to the steed and pet his flank softly. "Think you can push me over eh? We'll see how that turns out buddy." He told the horse with a chuckle and watched when his coat turned from it's normal grey colour to the buckskin he had asked for. "He looks really good." Arthur commented and smiled lightly when Piper told him the zephmare's name. "Brahnel huh? Well that fits him perfectly." He said as he kept on petting his flank, though when Piper asked him if he had any place set up for his stallion the elf shook his head. "No I don't yet, I can have one done in about a couple of days maybe, completed with everything he needs and what not...though you must tell me what he needs and how I can take care of him etc." Yup Arthur was serious on keeping Brahnel, he wanted to know everything about how to take care of a zephmare.

Before Arthur could even start to reply to Piper he felt movement and out of the corner of his eye he saw Brahnel coming towards him in a headbutt fashion, so the horse wanted to take up his challenged? Well it was all in good fun so it didn't matter. Once the horse did connected his head with Arthur's body the elf was pushed back but he quickly wrapped his arms around the stallion's neck to keep himself from being pushed over. "Ah...see Brahnel? You almost got me there though..." He said with a small chuckle as he let go of his horses neck and pet it on the head with a smile. Though after that little bout was over with Arthur turned his full attention back to Piper and smiled. "Well thank you Piper I really appreciate it." That was really nice of her to give him some carpenters to help speed up the production of the stable. Though he was quiet as she went on telling him what he needed to do for the horse, allow him to roam free, have different kinds of food like oats and straw and meat, though the meat part kind of shocked Arthur along with the whole fang bit. "Really?" With his eye a little wide he slowly turned to the horse and titled his head in puzzlement. "I never knew that really, thanks for telling me Piper." Then came the part of keeping Brahnel well groomed and how to ride him, all of this was being neatly stored in his mind which made Arthur happy that elves can remember everything. "He's trained both ways? That’s good to know I always wanted to try riding without the tack." He said with a small nod though something was bugging him. "What if he needs to mate though? What do I need to do? and also how come you can understand what he says?"

Arthur kept his eye on the zephmare as the horse nicked and neighed a few times, the elf was really liking his partner and wanted to take him out for a ride. Though as he watched Brahnel he listened in on what Piper was telling him about the fangs and meat, well if the stallion had to eat some meat then that's what Arthur would give him when needed. Though when Piper mentioned to him about the whole breeding part he chuckled a little bit. "Really? Well then thanks for telling me about that." Though when she started to talk to him about how she can understand the horse he nodded a little bit and smiled. "Well since I'm a wood elf myself I would be happy to understand what Brahnel says to me so would you mind giving m some lessons?" Well if he could understand what Brahnel was telling him that would be a big plus on keeping his stallion all happy and healthy. “Though what would I owe you for this? If you want me to pay you for Brahnel then I will give you some money, I still got enough to cover for him ever since I came here four years ago.” It’s true mostly whenever he got something from Malik or anyone else he was in debt but this time he wanted to pay for his steed so he wouldn’t owe.
