Bees are such amazing creatures. I admire the hell out of them. Good conversation too.
My honey collection keeps growing. A jar of local mixed Ohio, and jars of mixed Nebraska, and wildflower, and buckwheat. I also have another huge jar of a type I'm not sure of, but it's dark and a little bitter.
I don't think I'm going to start keeping bees, but I'm very interested in it today. Does anyone here keep bees?

Collowrath I don't think I'm going to start keeping bees, but I'm very interested in it today. Does anyone here keep bees? Nope, but I really really want to in future. I don't know the first thing about doing so though, nor do I know what the laws are here about keeping them. But bees are amazing creatures, my favourite insect by far.

According to some of my friends, the things I'm looking for in a long-term romantic partner are basically impossible and I may as well be looking for a purple unicorn.

I don't go to the meetings but I go to open help days to pitch in harvesting and stuff sometimes. I do agree with you that bees are the s**t.

Whenever I get sick I turn into a puddle of whiny victimized slush.
But the presence of actual ethnic and religious diversity on campus from all over the country for CT4 was awesome. Muslims, a Sikh, a "Druid" (who was extremely intelligent and overall well-informed, but I told him about the cultural misappropriation bit. He also had the deepest, richest voice I've ever heard, and had an unbelievable sincerity and collectedness about him), an Orthodox Jew who refused to shake my hand because of my biological sex, some more Jews, Catholics, Protestants, Hindus, and agnostics.
What a legit conference.

I call in for a mental health day, and spend the entire day sick to my stomach. I'd say it was because of my medicine, but it never lasts the whole day!
