"We're heading to all those circled spots there, but in the order that they're numbered." Tunnel locations and what not. But he let the boy lead them around, even if he didn't need it. It helped the child with his skills and all. Which of course meant a good portion of the morning checking out various things. Though it was a different matter when going to check out Laudi's roost. "Let's take a break, shall we?"

He was quite proud of himself being such a big help and all by following the numbered circles quite precisely. He told Daddy where to go and they never got lost. Work was lots of fun now wasn't it? Of course after a little while he got tired of trudging about the Underdark but he wasn't going to complain. He was quite excited when Daddy announced it was time for a break and he plopped down right where he was at.

"We're almost at the next circled place Daddy. See?" Showing him right where they were on the map. "We're working real hard, aren't we?" He did frown lightly for a moment wondering about a few things. "How come Zara didn't come with you? Didn't she want to see Miss Piper?"

She was now truly alone in the world, when she was a child she had lost her parents to disease, and had been forced to raise her infant brother for the last ten, hard years. Now kneeling at the foot of three unmarked graves which she had dug on the outskirts of the Pura Pennisula she sobed and mored the death of her younger brother struck down by the same horrible disease that had robbed them of there parents. Now kneeling at the foot of Dragomyzl's grave, Elida knew that she alone. And she could not hold back the tears.

"Bother, why did you have to go and leave me alone?" she asked amongst fits of sobing, resting her head upon the earthy mound which was all that reamined of Dragomyzl now, closing her eyes and sobing again.

Elida's eyes shot open as she felt the ground beneath her shake, moving violently as if someone was trying to dig there way out. "What....?" Unfortunately, her question was to go on unanswered as a pale dead hand, shot up from the loosened ground and wrapped itself in a vice around her neck snapping it almost instantly, dragging underneath the surface. The sounds of jaws tearing flesh from bone muffled by the softness of the dirt.

In a few moments, Dragomyzl made his way back towards the Pura Pennisula, a small trail of blood running down the corner of his mouth. "I think that meal, should more then enough to heal me." he said in a calm almost mechinal voice.

He smirked slightly as he saw of in the distance a plump young man, admiring his crisp new set of clothing. "Though I'd hate to turn down such a well-dressed morsel." he laughed, his voice suddenly more animated, almost violent.

Malik was dressed now, indigo on black, Malvolence at his hip, black gloves on, when one of the necromancer's almost ran upstairs and stopped malik on his way down.

First reaction, grab said necromancer by the collar and slam him into a wall.

"You are not allowed beyond that threshold!"

"But...this is important!"

"It had damned well better be."

Malik's hand tightened and he physcially tossed him back down the first two steps to the basement.

"What is it."

"An apparent undead. and not something we created, or brought forth. it's like it came forth of it's own will."

"Or the will of something else. or another necromancer we are unaware of. I want it found. The last thing we need is for certain parties to think I am about to unleash an undead hell someplace."

Dressed in a new set of local and new clothing, Dragomyzl made his way into the Pura Pennissula. From what little knowledge he could gather most of this place was run by a tribal concil, he supposed that it's the best place to start. He didn't have much time to waste sightseeing, he had something very important to find.

Zell ears drooped low and he whined a little. "Onyx attacked me while I was walking the streets."

Mik closed one eye and used the other to glare at Zell.

Zell mumbled. "I suppose it wasn't completely unprevoked."

Mik nodded. "Although I finaly think some sence has been nocked into him, Onyx was way out of line. As far as we know he came at Zell... all covered in something black and oozing. it seared the inside of my nostrels." He rubbed his nose.

Zell made a face as if to say "See!" So Mik punched him up-side the head. Zell Pouted as he rubbed his head.

He gave a little chuckle as his son plopped down. More than one he had offered to carry the boy, but he had refused, trying to act all big and capable. It was adorable. Reaching into one of his beltpouches, he pulled out a few strips of jerky, handing two to his son. "Here you go, munch on that."

Giving a nod as Zykariel held up the map to show him they were on track...even if Sevilin already knew that they were. "Yes, we're working very hard. Going to all the places were supposed to and checking all the runes we need to. Though where we're going next, we have to be very careful and you need to stay extra close to me." Because Laudi's little roost spot wasn't the most fabulous place in Sevilin's opinion.

"Zahara wasn't feeling well today son. So she's spending the day inside and in bed, taking her potions and what not. Wouldn't want her to give her bugs to Piper, now would you?" Better to play it off as being ill rather than explaining the facts of life to the boy.

Piper and Malikhai were still at the table, the boy sitting in his mother's lap and indeed practricing his writing skills...across all three languages that he knew, or at least was still learning. Even for still being so young his handwriting already was showing that elven elegence to it. So she was watching over his shoulder as he wrote words three languages at a time. It was times like this that she was able to do her own planning and thinking in her head, seeing as the child was preoccupied and quiet at the same time.

There was not much that escaped Leaf's notice. It was her job for such things, on this small Peninsula. Adjusting the cornicopia of weapons strapped to her back and front, she approached the blond haired stranger. "You are not from Pura, stranger." Her usualy blunt statment, her usual (and rather disconcerting) lack of emotion.

Bode unged at onyx and threw her amrs around his neck, crying into his fur. "What happend to Evil Onyx? He scares me! He was all black, like me."

Aella listened, but only understood half of it. She knew that Onyx and Zell had a thing against each other, but she didn't undestand this black goo they were talking about.

"He left me rather suddenly. And he doesn't usually, whne we've had words."

Both Mik and Zell looked a Aella at the same time, then looked at each, then back again.

"He left you?.. To come fight me?" Zells skin seemed to ripple for a moment, but then he calmed hismelf down with a deep breath. "he shouldnt' have done that. Whatever happened between you two is mroe important than some petty fight."

Mik looked at Zell approvingly. He kissed the sore spot on Zell's head in apology.

Zell blushed and looked away.

Zykariel reached for the jerky and began to munch on it quite happily, grateful for food and a break. He spread the map on the ground and began to study it quite closely. His eyes scanned over all the different places, reading them and filing them away in his memory just in case they popped up in conversation or something like that later. He liked reading maps, the whole plane laid out in front of his eyes and he could go to any place on the map.

A small hint of worry crept into his voice, "No, but I hope she gets better. If she takes her potions she'll get better thought right?" His head tilted slightly and he looked at his father questioningly. "Are we going somewhere bad, Daddy?"

He watched his son go about doing things that weren't important, yet they were at the same time. But he tilted his head in mimck of his son as he questioned his father. "Yes, if she takes her potions she'll get better." And hopefully wouldn't be jumping Sevilin in front of thier child. Kid didn't need to be exposed to that yet.

But a little shake of his head. "No bad...just dangerous. Things like to jump out and there's a mother creature here who's very protective of her eggs. And remember what things do when they're protective and you touch?"

Onyx held her a bit, and gave her a purr to soothe her.

"that's a part of me that I didn't ever want you to see. and if there's anything I can do about it, you won't see it again. My mom was like your mom...and I inherited that stuff."

Pulling her back a little bit.
"But I'm always your guardian. I made a promise, and I'll keep it."

"I would imagine so, Onyx."

Simon came out of the shadows, and had a tray of candied apples and some soup as well.

"that stuff registers to the spiritual realm as easily as it manifests in the physical one. I thought Bode may have had something happen to here, and came as fast as I could. but it seems your the reason for it this time."

"I didn't mean for that to happen."

Onyx looked at the candied apples, then gave a quizzical look and a shrug, handing over soup for Bode.

"All the same, we need to get your...burden, under control. For Bode, fear seems to trigger it's flow. fear and the need to defend herself. for you, it's anger and aggression. I suggest you learn to control your temper better."

then a run through his daughters hair with his hand.

"That woman may help you. You seem calmer around her and others such as Elric. Yes, I've been watching."

"speaking of which...I left her rather...abruptly. by now she's talked with Zell and the others and I'm probably not in high favor with her right now."

"then you need to fix that. I'll keep Bode with me, we'll check into a local inn. and I'll expect you, and possibly your twin, to come see me."

"They bite." He nodded to show he understood and then looked back at the map, studying it very closely once again. Each of the places were looked at two and three times but for some reason he couldn't seem to find it. "Daddy, I think your map is wrong." Or maybe he just couldn't find it. That happend sometimes, like when he couldn't find his other boot and Daddy or Zara wanted to leave. He swore those things walked away by thier own selves sometimes.

"I don't see Llothia anywhere on here..."
PostPosted: Fri Nov 10, 2006 4:23 pm

He raised an eyebrow. "My map is wrong?" Looking over the boy's shoulder, seeing as he was sitting behind him on a rock. Though he instantly returned his look to the boy and frowned. "Llothia?" That sounded quite a lot alike some other name that he didn't care to think about really. "Where did you hear of that Zykariel?"

He nodded, frowning down at the ink spots and various colors before him. "Yup, isn't that where you and Zara come from?" Because to his mind if they were Llothian, that must mean that they had lived in a place called Llothia. That's the way the others worked anyway.

But his father's tone snatched his attention and he turned around and blinked at him. "Mr. Malik told me all about it. He said it wasn't a very nice place though. Women like Zara liked to hurt men and then giggled about it." Zykariel's frown deepened, "But he said Zara was different, was she Daddy? Did she ever hurt you or make you do things you didn't want to?" Turning all the way around on the ground so he could see his father without bending his neck in that funny way. That hurt.
