Nova sat in the tub and watched the human run out. He made a face and crossed his arms. Well, at least he understood what he was freaking out about. Mitsuki's parents were coming so soon, and right after they had... Yeah. He decided he would join the 'party' and got out of the tub, grabbed a towel, and dried himself off. Leaving the bathroom, he walked over to his small pile of stuff he brought with him from home and pulled out clean clothes. A tight fitting white shirt with sleeves cut off at right before the shoulder and then a pair of khaki pants. The light colored clothes seemed to make his rather pale skin darken, so he looked more human. He did that on purpose. Like he wanted Mitsuki's parents finding out he was a vampire. As he walked out of Mitsuki's room with his white shirt and tan pants, and began heading down the stairs, he saw the female vampire and jumped up with excitement. "Maya!!!!" he exclaimed and ran down. But, he stopped when he saw her putting candles all over the place, and Mitsuki cleaning the room. He did not want to feel useless, but he also did not want to stop them. If he did, then the human's parents would arrive with the place as a mess. He frowned and started helping Mitsuki pick things up from the ground and wondering where to put whatever he picked up.

Once everything was cleaned up, he looked up at Nova. "Come on.....take the stuff to my room." He carried it up stairs and dropped it in the corner near the door. He took off his robe and began to look for clothes for him to wear. He puts on a long sleeve white tee with a soft green vest and some blue jeans. He began to comb out his hair while murmuring to himself, "I can't believe them...why now? They think they can just come with out a call...who do they think they are, the royal family?!" He finished his hair and looked around for some socks.

Nova ran up the stairs with the stuff in hand and dropped them in the place Mitsuki told him to. Once he was done with that, he went back down stairs to allow Mitsuki to get dressed. He greeted Maya properly and chuckled nervously. "H-Hey, Maya. Sorry you had to see the mess," he mumbled sheepishly. He felt rather bad but also embarassed. His face went it's pale pink color, and he sighed heavily. Well, she knew. He scratched the back of his head and chuckle. "So, uh, what's brings you here?" he asked.

Maya chuckled and sighed, "I came to check on Mitsuki....I kinda miss him at school...." She blushed pink, "I can see that you two were....erm.....busy." She turned and jumped when the door bell rang. She walked over to it and answered it, there stood a woman, her hair was short and black with dark gray eyes and a man with dark hair and blue eyes. She assumed they were Mitsuki's parents. The woman looked at her funny, Maya smiled, "Hi! You must be Mitsuki's mother and father.....I'm Maya and I'm one of Mitsuki's friends...that's Nova....he's..." she stopped when Mitsuki came down stairs. His mother smiled, "My baby is so big!" His father nods as he brings in the bags. Mitsuki looks at his mother and father with a dark expression, "Mother. Father." he said rather coldy. Maya frowned, this was the old Mitsuki, before he met Nova.

Nova blushed and looked at the ceiling. Busy? Maybe just a little. Though, he kept whatever he was thinking to himself. He glanced at the door when the bell was rung, and he crossed his arms over his chest, ready to keep himself self in case of anything. The vampire stood there and listened to the short and rather incomplete introduction Maya was giving the parents of Mitsuki. A grin slipped across his face when he saw Mitsuki. The woman was... Irritating to the vampire. Baby. The human was no baby. Nova huffed when he heard his human's voice so cold and flat. It reminded him of when they first met. Not really any expression at all, unlike Nova who is naturally a friendly and rather flirtatious person. He wanted to greet the two adult humans, but he would wait until Mitsuki had said something. They were, afterall, Mitsuki's parents. He had to deal with them, not Nova.

Mitsuki watched as his mother went and sat on the arm chair. "Come, sit down and tell me how've you been." Mitsuki's father walked over and wrapped his arm around Mitsuki's shoulders. "I see you have a girlfriend," he hinted, but Mitsuki just shrugged the old man off. "She is not my girlfriend, just a friend." He hissed as he walked over to the couch and sat down. Maya followed in suit and sat next to him. Maya shifted uncomfortably, Mitsuki's mother smiled, "why didn't you tell us you had friends over." Mitsuki glared at the woman, "Jee I don't know, maybe because you hung up before I could speak." He said sarcasticly. This made his parents frown. "Who's that?" his father asked as he glanced over at Nova.

Nova sat on the ground and listened to the people talk. Maya was pointed out as being Mitsuki's girlfriend. Now, if they had said Mimi's name, then he would have exploded, but with Maya it was okay. He liked her. And, the vampire was not so sure of why his human was treating his parents in such a way, but he was in no position to say anything about it. Then he was pointed out. He stuck his finger out and pointed to himself. "Who, me? I'm Nova Kalika. It's very nice to meet you," he said with a smile. "I still don't know either of your names." He was being rather formal, an old habit from speaking with people older than him when he was younger.

Mitsuki's mother smiled, "My name is Chaya and this is my husband Henry." She looked at Mitsuki, "Mitsuki, dear, you seem rather upset." Mitsuki just rolled his eyes, "No really? You think?" Henry seemed slightly irritated, "Mitsuki don't treat your mother that way." Mitsuki glared at his father, "Why you guys are never here half the time. When was you last visit or phone call? One? Three years ago?" Chaya frowned, "Now Mitsuki...don't start..." Mitsuki was ready to say something back, but Henry intrupted, "So Nova and Maya do you go to school with Mitsuki?" Maya nods, "We have the same class together." His mother smiled, "Aw...how sweet..." Mitsuki only rolled his eyes.

Nova felt like hiding somewhere with the way he felt Mitsuki's emotions. Kalika vampires did not like bad feelings, no matter who or what it was pointed at. They were actually weakened by it. Luckily the subject was switched. Though, it was still something Nova could not answer very well. He frowned slightly and shook his head. "I don't go to school. I have been with Mitsuki to all his classes, though. It made me want to go back," he said and looked at his bare feet. They were beginning to get cold, but he resisted the urge to get up and find a pair of socks. He mumbled something quietly to himself: Had he ever treated his father the way Mitsuki treated his parents? No. Nova knew only respect for his elders unless they tried killing him, and that was kind of what he had to go through when he was younger. Anyone would have growing up in the years when people felt like killing whatever drank blood. He shivered slightly and looked back at the people. And, these people were making it seem as though Maya and Mitsuki were perfect for each other. Nova was fine with that idea, but if it was pushed any further, then he felt like he would yell out the truth. No... Don't speak your mind. It'll get you and Mitsuki in trouble, he told himself.

Mitsuki's parents frowned, "You don't go to school? Did you drop out?" asked Chaya. Before Maya could answer, Mitsuki did; "That's none of your business mother." His mother looked at him with an angry look, "Okay then...do they live close by?" Mistuki sighed, his mother won't mind her own business. "Maya lives pretty far from here.....and Nova lives here." His parents look at him funny, "Here?" he questioned. Mitsuki glared, "Yes....here." His mother frowned, "Why didn't you talk to us about it?" Mitsuki stood up and hissed, "Because it didn't matter! You're never home!" His parents stood up and yelled, "Don't talk to us like that!" Mitsuki added his own voice, "Like you care! I bet the only reason you are here is to tell me that you're going to be gone for another year or so!" The room was silent, his glared at them. "That's what I thought!" He hit it right on the nail. He walked over and puts on his shoes, "Where are you going?!" His mother called out. "Out!" Mitsuki yelled and opened the door and left with a slammed door.

Nova put his hands on his head. He could feel everyone's bad emotions, well except Maya who was frightened like he was. When everything went silent, the Kalika looked around. With a frown, he watched the human leave. He jumped up from his place on the ground. Before he slipped on his own shoes and headed out the door, he turned to look at Maya. His eyes asked if she wanted to come or stay with Mitsuki's parents. Then his eyes switched to the human's mother. "I'm sorry I'm leaving like this, but I must find my friend," he said. He stood in the doorway and chuckled. "And I'm no drop out. I was too smart for school, so I graduated early," he said. It was a lie, a really bad one. He knew nothing of new world math or science because of his seclusion. It was the only thing that came to his mind before running out after Mitsuki. "Don't leave without me!!" he yelled after closing the door behind him.

Mitsuki walked angry down the street, he was pissed beyond anything else. His tried to calm down as best he could. He looked back and noticed that Nova was right behind him and a little ways back was Maya. He stopped and waited for the two to catch up with him. He leaned against the wall and placed his hand over his eyes. He needed to be calm and try to not be so angry. He watched as they approch.

Nova came up to Mitsuki's side and noticed Maya behind him as well. Well, she took his invitation to come along. He looked at his human with worry, his grey eyes appeared sad. Whatever time Mitsuki needed to calm down, Nova would allow him to have it. He did not want to push his beloved human do say or do something that he did not want. Nova sighed and was about to sit on the sidewalk, but he did not know what was there, so he stayed standing up and looked at Maya, his eyebrows met in the middle with his sad face.

Mitsuki sighed and relaxed, "I'm sorry....I'm sorry you two had to see that..." He was so angry, he wanted to punch something really badly. Maya frowned at Nova and Mitsuki, "I left your parents, they looked quite upset." Mitsuki lets out a shudder and laugh, "really? Now they know how I feel...." He sighed and began to walk, "You're......not going to drink are you?" asked Maya. Mitsuki looked at her funny, "Why would I drink?" Maya shifted slightly, "When humans are upset, angry, or depress...they drink..." Mitsuki sighed and shook his head, "No...I don't drink....drinking is for the weak..." he answered.

Nova looked between the two, keeping himself quiet. He did not like the side of Mitsuki he saw. It was the side he did not get to see often. And, since he had been with the human through the time he was opening up, Nova forgot just how cold Mitsuki could be. His hands were in his pockets, to make him look more human because most vampires did it that way, and his hands were a bit cold. He glanced at Maya when she asked Mitsuki if he was going to drink. Drink what? Oh, alcohol. Mitsuki better not drink anything like that!! Nova yelled in his head. He made a face and looked at the sky. Well, his silence was proving to make him bored, but he hoped that the human would get better soon. The emotions he weaved made the Kalika uneasy. "Drinking's for the weak? Is walking away from a problem weak? Is hiding from what's there weat?" he asked. Hopefully his question would not make Mitsuki any angerier than he was, but that was really what was going on in his head. Great, another truthful thought thanks to him beign open-minded. If it got him in trouble with his human and more angry emotions were born from it, then he would feel like shoving a wooden steak into his heart.
