When I was first out on my own- I had no place to stay. I was too young to work without my parent's consent and my mother refused because she wanted to keep cashing the government checks.
I had no money. My grandparents couldn't just give me a check, but my Nana would buy my artwork. Mostly little things made of clay.
When my mother dropped off some of "Nana's junk", I found some of the little things she bought from me maybe a decade earlier. <********.

I love letting people know that their favorite "new little virtual bank!" Ally is a rebrand of GMAC.
I like hearing their smugness deflate. It's a great sound.
Also, best call of yesterday. A particularly paranoid customer refused to give me his account number in English, not because it was his native language, but because he's paranoid that someone else is on the line. "Spanish, I'll give it to you in Spanish."
"Sorry, the only foreign language I know is Latin."
...he relented and gave me his name to look him up.

whiporwill-o i wish i knew latin... and japanese, that language is the sex. screw french, i say! not literally, cuz then it would be the sex... ninja I thought I wanted to learn Japanese too, but when I did and found out that there was like 5 different ways and systems to say the same thing depending on the social status of yourself relative to the person you're talking to, and that even if I were to learn the language fluently the very xenophobic culture would never accept me as anything but an outcaste foreigner, I kinda lost interest. I still think it's a really beautiful sounding language, and love my Gackt and other Japanese music since it makes me all nostalgic about high school. 3nodding

Bastemhet whiporwill-o i wish i knew latin... and japanese, that language is the sex. screw french, i say! not literally, cuz then it would be the sex... ninja I thought I wanted to learn Japanese too, but when I did and found out that there was like 5 different ways and systems to say the same thing depending on the social status of yourself relative to the person you're talking to, and that even if I were to learn the language fluently the very xenophobic culture would never accept me as anything but an outcaste foreigner, I kinda lost interest. I still think it's a really beautiful sounding language, and love my Gackt and other Japanese music since it makes me all nostalgic about high school. 3nodding hell, i don't care if they think of me an outsider or not because, technically, i am one and i never plan to go to japan, not even on vacation. i just really love the language, it would have to be a full-time, all-in devotion to learning it though. on top of status and what-not so many pronounciations are rediculously similar. it's all so gosh-darn confusing! i like gackt better when he was in malice mizer, but then, i just like MM, even when klaha (sp?) was lead singer. and kozi was hot. whee lol.
