Christof watched her go, twisting his hands nervously before glancing back to Maple. The hunchback gave a polite bow. He was given a task, and he would complete that task and Amrita would be proud of him. With a growling grunt, he offered his more human hand to the smaller ghoul. setting his hat down on the table to lead her out. Hopefully he wouldn't crush her feet- it was trickier to replace living feet than undead ones.

Lottie's fun time was viciously cut short. She squawked as Hel hooked her around the waist, for a moment assuming she would be carted off. However, that sharp and powerful punch to the thigh had the little witch screaming in pain. "WHYYYYYY!? I WAS JUST DANCING!" She shrieked, holding her leg. "OW OW OW OW THIS HURTS! ABUSE! ABUUUUSE! NA'IMAAAAAA I NEED YOOOOOOU!"

Willow nodded, "Ah I see." She paused, "It might not get along with you but if you do ever need anything burned I'm a ghost. It won't hurt me like it would you." It would still likely hurt, but she was safer than Amrita around it.
She nodded, "I might do that, maybe I'll just go ask someone that seems lonely." There was a smile as she paused watching as Amrita froze and her eyes followed the patchwork's gaze, "Jack, it's really determined."
She nodded, "You too!" She paused when the other warned her not Lou, "OKIE!" She nodded and gave the patchwork a thumbs up before she ran off. Willow's tail flickered as she glanced around prom, now who could she bother?
Ears flicking back as she looked around for someone that didn't look like they had a date.

As much as she was wondering if her new found dance partner was up for the task, her questions were answered when Christof offered such a courteous bow. It actually brought a wry little smile to her features. He was so big and bulky, but this was actually rather charming.
And although she hesitated for a moment with putting her small hand in his much larger one - 'cause nerves, dread and her usual pessimistic views - she still took it to allow him to escort her to the dance floor proper. Her partner would be worrying about crushing her feet, she was a little more worried with leaning her head in too much, least to like poke out his eyes with her horns or something (but, he could replace those right? Wow, that was a weird thought).
bilious I have no idea what song is even playing xD

Thankfully when the tugging happened Sammy was already done finishing a thankfully normal cup of punch. No beards or funny effects this time. What she was tugged into was to say the least, interesting. Thackery was by far the most harmless demon Sammy had met. If anything he was probably the sweetest most (well mostly) well behaved demon she had met.
And he was a Cerberus, + 10 for those ears and cute little tail Thackery, Sammy had to reached over and offer him a scratch behind the ear for that part.
"So... it's a contract about love, happiness, and... being Married?" Her eyebrow raised curiously at the last part. Sure it wasn't something SUPER official but it was a contract, and it was written by a demon which counted for something.
Taking the Red pen she added a little note that Thackery would in turn be a loyal puppy who would in turn answer Sammy's own calls and be a good lap dog.
"I think... Siddie..." As she filled in her name on one line. "That Barth and you, can be 'married' for your family's little thing...." She finished her named and turned to the other ghoul.
"But this paper seems to imply that I put a stake to that claim first~" Leaning forward she tugged Siddie closer one arm around her waist and another of bone tucked into her midnight black hair as she leaned into kiss her long and slow about two feet away from Thackery who was likely to explode into puppies and kittens at the sudden show of passion.
When Sammy finally pulled back a bit she grinned, "Now I just need to find a proper ring to put on you to go with that little contract."

It was strange for him to see the priestess like this, angry and tense in his arms. It set him on edge, and he nodded at her words, thinking of how strange the idea of her doing something foolish was, waiting patiently and alert for whatever she might need. He could see as her expression changed and she relaxed somewhat, easily allowing himself to be pulled into a kiss before they resumed their dance. "Everything okay?" he asked after a moment, giving them time to settle into the dance. He didn't mean to pry, but he could not just let this go past without saying something, without offering the words that showed that he cared that she would be fine. Soren may have shot Bastion a look when he saw him watching him. A smug look. As if to say "yeah, I've got her, what are you going to do about it?"

Thank goodness it was a slow song. Christof concentrated on his feet, large clawed left hand at the small Reaper's waist as he counted carefully the amount of steps. At least he had a lot of time to practice earlier, but with this strange ghoul it was... different. His movements were smooth enough, if a little limping and highly calculated, but otherwise surprisingly gentle for the looming boy.

"I Hope so," she answered, gaze lingering on the dancing jewelcrafters for a moment longer before she turned her attention back to Soren. Head tilting gently to one side as they danced, "I don't mean to worry you. I'm sure you know how very protective I am of my cousin?" As if it weren't obvious. Nergui had been playing guardian to Bastion for as long as she could remember. "My temper is a fragile thing where he is concerned." It was a very vague explanation, but the more finer details were not something she wished to speak about surrounded by so many others. Perhaps later, if for no other reason then to explain away her anger. He deserved that much. As if conjured by her thoughts, Bastion had come striding across the dance floor and come to a stop beside her and Soren. She peered at him keenly, searching for any hint of hurt or sorrow in that familiar face, then finally slid out of the taller stallion's arms so she could pull her cousin into a very tight embrace, one small hand pressing into the warmth of his hair as she clutched him to her. What she murmured in his ear was a whisper, for him alone. "I'm so proud of you." She let the words sink in before releasing him and stepping back, smiling up at him. Only then did she really realize that Bastion's date was no where to be seen. Not that Nergui know what the young ghoul looked like, but she assumed the filly would be hanging on Bas if she were present. "Where is your Sophie?"

Maple was equally thankful for it being a slow song, mostly because they were the types of dances that she knew a little better. Not like those dance moves she had to pull off with Simply a few hours early. Slow and traditional was what she was used to. And as she naturally went into the motions, with her hand not quiet getting to his shoulder but resting at his elbow, it allowed her to reassure there would be no feet stepping by either party; it allowed her to pay attention, she kind of didn't need to count her steps and all.
It was bumpy, but still there was a strange grace about his movements. Okay, maybe this wasn't so terrible. "Y-you d-dance v-very well," she mumbled out, hoping not to break his concentration.

Ren was back - and this time with a song that was totally awesome and he may or may not have been way too excited about it.

Tomoko's ears perked up. "Contracts? Prom doesn't seem like the place to be filling out contracts.." she noted, ears drooping down again.
Looking to Erebus, she nodded. "Oh yes. Jack and I were able to do a little bit of catching up too. We're going to have tea together soon so we can discuss some things." Tomoko added, smiling brightly before she looked to Thackery again with a slightly suspicious look.
"So people are getting married at Prom? I'm.." she patted her own chest. "I'm only Fourteen! That's too young to get married at...."
Well. 45, actually, but she had all but forgotten her own birthday (actually she'd completely forgotten it and nobody knew when it was).

Sing with him? WELL, she'd already been dancing and he'd called for Jove, Jack, and Frost too. There was just not getting out of this one. And she liked singing! Really, she did. LW snorted at the obnoxious gryphon, making her way up beside him, throwing in a swat at his head for good measure.
"Fiiiiiine." She was totally ready for this. Totally.

Something had happened? He thought to ask Alex for details (his zombro was normally unflappable, so seeing him down at all was a little shocking), but it seemed that would have to be a conversation for another time. Mort tipped his hood like a hat to him, saying, "Will see you later, then."
Thank Jack the songs had switched. He blinked at Belladonna's tug and smiled a little, rubbing his cheek in hopes of erasing how flushed he probably looked. "Ahh . . . Yes, would be good idea." They didn't have a lot of decent photos of them together, and tonight was special for his witch; he wanted to make sure she had a souvenir to remember it by for years to come. He took her hand and began to lead them out, humming contentedly now that there wasn't a song getting in his brain.
Lyrics are serious business, you guys.

The night had gone smoothly thus far, with the exception of a failed marriage contract or two, but Thackery had still been missing the presence of a particular someone. With each tiny bit of downtime he'd gotten, he progressed from worrying that he'd told him the wrong time, to worrying that he'd not written the stuff about his outfit clearly enough, to worrying that he didn't want to come at all. It was a very bad time to have opted to leave his phone in his room. But as he looked to see who Erebus had been referring to, the nerves went away, and he temporarily excused himself with a smile from the group and their conversation on marriage contracts to give him a proper welcome. "Ash! You caaame! And you look so ferocious and everything!" He tried to put his hands on his shoulders to reach him for a kiss, as per usual kissing-a-taller-boil protocol, but that was a lot more difficult when there were slippery surfaces involved. After trying and failing twice, he gave up, pitifully looking at him with eyes that said ' fix it?' and a crooked, pleading smile.

The hunchback's face flushed as he slouched down further at the compliment, the corners of his mouth twitching up in a bashful smile as a third hand slipped from his jacket to tuck his hair that had escaped it's ponytail back behind his ear. He gave a nervous grunt that could have been, "Thank you," but it also could have been, "You are as well" but it was equally likely to have been, "Well, I didn't step on anything yet-" but the music changed and suddenly picked up beat and his shuffling boots suddenly stumbled.
