Quite the pyro then. Indeed. And drinking while he does? Hope he doesn't set himself on fire with a stray splash. Pyromaniacs are quite typical nowadays, don't you think? Almost had my shirt lit on fire by one overzealous idiot. Can't say I was happy with it.

why does every single person in the world have to be a fricken pyro? I mean, ive set my fires in my time, but it seems everybody is obsessed with taking a lysol can and making a flamethrower.

Never done that, I just like setting papers on fire with matches.
But in the end, I think pyro's are funny to laugh at, especially the ones that make homemade flamethrowers.

Can someone be a hydro? play in the sea and watch water arc through the air. Pleasant thought actually. Not so dour and misused as fire. Pyro has become another way to say freak....and then it became popular. Kids gather and watch a match with the same dumbstruck face as those who had just polluted themselves with . A waste of life I say.

But that could just be because I see Americans how Europeans see us. It's slightly aggrivating to know that the greatest country in the world is home to the most idiotic, sensless youth in the world.

I asked an Englishman to do an american accent and his friend, scruffy kid he was, nudged him and said.

"Just act stupid."

Not quite respecting...you know?

I must agree, especially with your signature. I think Rivven is the closest thing you're going to find to a 'hydo' though, unfortonately, and he's not obsessed, just likes the generally beauty it can possess, and controls it magically, but he has sort of mimiced it's qualities a little to create his hand to hand fighting style, so... maybe... just a little.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 04, 2005 4:27 pm

describe this style? Is it like the monkey? using the momentum of the body to speed attacks and hit with more force?

Oh i do love water though. It's like emotion. Calm and still at times, violent, dark and destructive in others. If I were religious, I might be temped to say that the oceans were god's face, and they reacted as he became angry or pleased with us.

and allow me to CURSE little barton rpgs with players that slack. makes me want to eat them. Yes...eat them.

Edit: Oi, wheres this bar that drunk gents been harpin bout? I cant find it.

((no harm intended by callin ya mate drunk. He is afterall.))

The Bar? If you mean the one here then here http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=144519&page=88

It's kind of a mess at the moment and it will certianlly see better days as I don't expect it to keep in it's current state much longer if this attack ever happens.

Quite! Well, if she's in worse shape than my beloved Marcathe, she's in bad condition indeed. Hmm, care to tell me where i might put my wearied feet to make my staggerin way to this little hut?

I lack time to reply in detail now, but no that's not quite how it is much like water, though he does employ some techniques much like judo, using the enemy's size, motion, and wieght against them, as well as a few other things. He was one of my few character's I'd consider an excellent idea though, he is run about one style and sticks well to that style, he's pretty consistant yet holds up the artistic touch, and is practical for fighting, or social interaction, though not good for it as he's shy, just not truly antisocial, or hard to get along with. Nearly every detail of him reflects a quality of whater in some way though, I made him that way on purpose. I'd never used a water element character before, so I went all the way here.

I applaud your efforts! I really do love characters based on the elements, especially the more fickle ones. Water and Fire particularly. There emotional ranges are wide, and they're so expressive it makes them so fun to play.

Fire is truly touching. A good character who always follows his heart, no matter how unreasonable it seems, a bit of a headcase, determined and steadfast to the point of foolishness, and of course, a passion that you don't find most other places.

I unfortunatly am not one of them. I cry for my stoney personality. how dreary it is!

You are Earth.
You are solid, and stable, and have possibly the most practical approach to everything. Just like your friend. ^_^ You actually LIKE going to movies. >_< Oddities at it's extreme...
Just kidding. You like to think of things practically. Other wise it gets too confusing. THis is a VERY compatible element. Be proud.

You are very hard to categorize as you are a 'Renaissance' mage. Most probably though, you are intelligent, calm, and compassionate. You probably like to think things through rather than regret the consequences later. Reflective Mages are often associated with 'cool' colors (green, blue, purple).'

Well, Rivven basically starting as me figuring out the most interesting and strategetically plausible use of water as a character, but I also wanted to integrate a few otherthings, but anyway, a lot happened and he's developed not with me looking to make him into the essence of water, but it was his starting point. My own opinion, not some other. He can change a lot, he's actually like me a lot; he is quite moody, but unlike fire, instead of acting on it, he prefers to use common sense, and remain stoic mostly. He feels plenty, attitudes dont' necessarily stay the same, but you'd never know how he's feeling or how something is effecting his mood or such by surface appearance. Many other points... this is all reminding me though that I need to rewrite his bio.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 05, 2005 6:53 pm

That's why I don't like those things. When you write a character bio, you set that character in stone, and he becomes static, unchanging, always the same. When he DOES change during the course of the story, as every major character is bound to do, it will be like a , or a flaw in your bio. By writing out your descriptions and creating a character through detail (as long as your consistant) he will become well rounded and interesting.

oh would you mind if I drew your character? I like him.

I guess it's good to know our OOC is active, now if only this would transfer over to the rp.
