The giant of a woman, Janani, appears streching and yawning. Her tiny, for her gerth, wings are about as far outstreched as they can be. The Angel's eyes are closed as she seems to be wiping sleep from her eyes. She's dressed in her usual outfit, no flare or glamor. Her always present cat plushie is resting on her head, looking as inanimate as ever. Then she speaks quietly, as if to herself or somebody nearby.
I'm up... I'm up...
As she is behind the two at the bar...
((I really hope not to interupt whee It's just been so long since I've been on and somebody else in the Brink at the same time >_>; ))

Janani looks out of it a bit. Tired, like she'd just woken up. She waves at them, almost like waving off a comment. She's not being impolite...at least on purpose. Then she gives a nice, big yawn, streching again.

Though sleepy, Janani's mind had heard and processed everything said. As she becomes more aware, she finally catches up with herself.
Huh? Wha...?
First, there's a smile on her face before a gloomy expression takes over her. She begins shivering as she holds her hands to each of her shoulders.
De...demon?! If a Seraphim is here...he...he'll protect me...
Janani begins looking around frantically. Obviously, she doesn't have the same view of Seraphim as those before her. Of course, she hasn't been around for any of the Seraphim attacks

*He goes to pour a drink for Janani. He stops at Janani's last remark.*
You think the Seraphim'll -protect- you? *looks at her and holds out her drink* You and I need to talk sometime.
*Maybe he wasn't the only one who didn't know what the hell was going on. A Seraphim. What did that mean?*
*He looks at Melliandra, smirking unhappily, before he looks away.*

Oh, I wouldn't count on that, dear girl. I suspect he might consider you quite expendable. And either way . . . he's not here right now, is he?
But chin up. The demon's bound to go after you, first. You'll die a noble death, giving the rest of us just enough time to get away. Why, I almost get choked up just thinking about it.

Janani's now fully awake and fully aware, and by fully aware she's fully aware that there is neither Seraphim nor demon here. She's nearly flustered, and, if she weren't an Angel, might be going after Mel for such a cruel joke this very instant.
Seraphim are noble Angels! ...and I'm an Angel. You're humans. It's our duty to protect! I just...
Janani rubs her side. Just thinking about it makes her cringe. She's lost any and all will to be angry... She's just afraid again...just like a child. Just like her race at such a young age, for her, she shifts between maturity and immaturity so quickly.
...I'm not strong enough...
