Happens a bit more now I guess with the new people coming, but thats just an intimidation thing for the new people. Same thing happened when we first got here, but than it all died down.

They're really not that bad. I've only every heard of them actually hitting something once my entire time here. Course, that was kinda a tragic irony.
It goes like this, but Im not sure how much is true other than the basic story. The mortar ended up killing two people, one male, one female (That being all I know to be true). The story says they were an engaged couple, getting ready to go on leave to Germany together. While they were suppossed to be in Germany they were going to get married. (That part I don't know if its true). Sad, but on the up side I guess every couple wants to die together, so at least they got that....

Wow. If that's true, it really is sad. Although, like you said, at least they were together and one didn't get left behind.

oh and hey, if it makes you feel any better, y'all have a higher chance of stepping out of your house and being hit by a car than I do of being hit with a mortar here. Actually, all things considered, Im safer here than I am back home. It's just that here we know of the danger and its makes the headlines in the papers.
