Why is a gundark the standard measure of a weapon's power in star wars? I swear, in the past week, I've read at least three weapon articles referencing Gundarks.

For the same reason we refrence large powerful animals when refering to the stopping power of hunting firearms. Ever hear the term "loaded for bear"?

I can honestly say that I haven't, actually. The real world comparison I was going to use was the one with Pirhanas(SP?). Whenever people talk about these fish, they always mention how fast that a pack can skeletonize a cow. That's just weird, why can't something else be skeletonized by pirhanas, especially since cows don't live in areas where wild pirhanas roam, usually.

They can tear wampas apart with their brute strength.

Rancor eats those for supper. Its a bit larger than a gundark.

elvisnake Yeah, but It'd be an interesting fight. Honestly? a Gundark could rip a rancor's fingers off before the Rancor scoope it up and ate him

If a gundark is smart enough to do that.

It probably would figure it out, at least on a few trial runs.

I better figure out what the final fight in CotGCW is going to be like before I get outta Geonosis.
I need Cale, Novara, Rook, Mordranna, Angel, Feron, Drako, and Solms all in the same room together.

Sounds exciting. Will there be any more CotGCW episodes, or are you stopping with this one?

Its a triology.
And by my dying words it will very damn well stay that way.

Ok... good. Once that ends, we can make Legacy as good as possible, rather than diverting our efforts with planning episode four.

That's partially why Legacy is getting so much attention.
I thought of creating a sequel to the series set after the Vong war, and recently came up with the name "Knights of the New Republic", but it would divert too much away.
