He glared and smacked her hand away. They both knew that he couldn't do anything because he was still too small and couldn't breathe well. It just made him angry because she knew that and still instigated things with him.

Cyan just kept his glare and didn't say anything to her because Smash told them to stop. He looked away and kept quiet.

*he didn't want them to be mad at eachother so he got them together and hugged them both*

Cyan was still upset, but just hugged him back. "Love you too."
Mari had enjoyed spending time with Garreth even though they didn't talk. She didn't want him to feel like he was put on the spot and Garreth enjoyed that she wasn't trying to get words out of him. He still looked at her with a tint of sadness in his eyes, though, and Mari noticed. She just didn't want to force anything out of him. "You know... You can talk to me if there's something on your mind. I'm always here to listen." Garreth just smiled and nodded at her words. He knew he could. There was just nothing that needed said.

Cyan just nodded and let Smash pick him up.
Mari was done with dinner and served out the food onto the plates. Putting about the size serving good for each of them, but she did make extra just incase. Garreth helped her with putting out water for all of them to drink. She could tell that he must have always helped her in the future when it came to dinner.

Mari seen them come in and smiled. "Have a seat and enjoy." Cyan jumped from Smash's arms and sat down at the table. It seemed that he had a certain spot that he liked to be. Mari sat down beside him and Garreth took a seat that would be beside Smash when he sat down, but diagnol from Mari.

Mari seen that Garreth was getting what he wanted, but she made note that Cyan's arms seemed too short to reach the plates. She grabbed his plate and started to pile food on it. Enough for him to at least have a nice serving. If he wanted more, she knew he would ask. Once she had sat his plate infront of him, she then started to serve herself.
Mari smiled as she heard Smash and Raine's comments. "Thank you. I'm glad you guys think it's good." Garreth nodded in agreement as he ate and Cyan was trying to talk with his mouth full, to which Mari corrected him and told him to have some manners. She then started to eat what she put on her plate.

*smash began eating what was on his plate as normal. he was always the fast eater. he looked over at raine and seen that she ate her food as quickly as him*
*as she ate she smiled as the food tasted so good*

Mari just smiled as she ate. She liked having compliments delivered to her. She had to admit, though. She was a pretty good cook. As she was eating, she looked over at Garreth who already had most of his plate gone, but was taking a water break. She then looked at Cyan who had the whole steak on his fork and was gnawing on it. "Let me help, Cyan. I'll cut it up for you." Mari reach over to cut his food, but he let out a little annoyed growl. "I got it." She just gave a small laugh and watched as he tried to take another bite of it.

*he finished what was on his plate and seen there was an extra peice of steak left. he reached for it with his fork, think no one else was going for it*
*she reached for the steak at the same time then looked up at smash*
hmmm. looks like we get to play the game.

Mari gave up on trying to help Cyan and Garreth seemed to be done since he didn't have anything left and was just picking at the baked potato skin. She looked and seen Smash and Raine fighting over the piece of steak. "What game?"
